From the moment we met Phil Cross at DFP he gave us confidence in putting our trust in his expertise when dealing with our financial affairs. He and his staff have been extremely efficient, accurate, friendly and timely with every aspect. We have had pension, investment, Trust and Will planning advice as well as market discussions and projections and has always given us assurance, explaining things in an easy way for us to understand how best to manage our financial affairs and estate planning. Having worked in the wholesale financial markets for over 30 years, I had accumulated a few pensions from various employers. I knew I wanted to retire but I was not sure it was feasible. I was certain that I wanted to engage an advisor who listened, was technically proficient and lastly someone who would gently challenge my preconceptions. Phil Cross does all of those things and more. We spent a lot of time discussing why I wanted to retire and what kind of lifestyle I might want before looking at any numbers or products. Phil helped me understand my own risk appetite by asking the right questions and his first class team (thank you Jo!) helped me to gather the relevant documents from multiple defined and undefined benefit pensions. All of this happened two years ago and I am delighted to say that I realised my retirement goal and I continue to be impressed with the support and service. Whatever stage of life you are at, when it comes to financial advice, planning and execution, I really can’t recommend Phil and his DFP team highly enough.
