Dischem I will no longer support and neither will my friends and family. I was denied vital medication from a script and was denied due to a technicality. The staff showed portrayed a unconcerned attitude. All scripts will now be taken elsewhere as well as the monthly grocery purchases, and I will continue to give bad reviews and steer potential customers away. Your repeat prescription reminders are a farce.

Don't bother making an appointment, the nurse will leave you waiting while she walks around and chats to other staff. When you query the delay you will be told to be patient. Clearly the staff place no value on your time.

DisChem Medical Insurance - After many ‘promises’ made I signed up… my wife had a severe accident so I paid close to R20,000 up front… I submitted claims as I was instructed, only to receive a very, very small amount back. I also did not receive any response to the numerous emails and queries. Overall a very bad experience!

I told them that medical aid claims do not work on the app. I work in IT with payment services, and I even troubleshooted the issue with them to make sure that all of my details are correct. They still immediately debit your bank account then get rude when you email them and say it's your fault. They make no effort to fix this problem and don't even get back to me.

I had a consult at Sunninghill Dischem clinic Chilli on top, and was assisted by Sister Brenda. I was especially impressed with the care she took with me and how comfortable she made me feel and her level of professionalism. This kind of service is outstanding! Thank you Brenda!

I go regularly to Dis-Chem to collect my chronic medication but five times in a row they’ve got the medication wrong not as per the script wrong milligrams of product and nobody takes any responsibility five times they’ve got it wrong yesterday I found a new product in my bag and I gave it back to the guy and said go and get the right product don’t give me product that’s not specified I was told by doctors that disk him are renowned for giving the wrong medication and if something goes wrong and I believe it has happened what do you gain from it I was told never to Except brands or anything unusual when you collect your medication because your health could deteriorate as a result of it isn’t this a disgrace Abby time you pulled your boots up and got involved in the running of the business and all the problems that they’re all at all the stores not only Norwood

I went to Dis-Chem Port Elizabeth Newton Park for a survey for my medical aid. When I got there the nurse asked me if I had an appointment which I had no idea they worked with appointments. She said I will have to wait and maybe squeeze me in. I understood we were only 2 people sitting and waiting with no appointments. There were 2 nurses that day. While waiting for 40 minutes she did not even glance at us. I decided to see if anyone was inside. There was no one that she was with. She was sitting and waiting for those who made the appointment. After 10 minutes no one came. They both did not attend to us. At that time they both could have seen both patients. I asked the other guy sitting there to give back my form I told him next time they must put up a sign by the door so people can know to make an appointment or if there is time and no one has an appointment check on them not let them wait. I took my form tore it up called Klinimed walked in no appointment and in less than 10 minutes I was done. I mean seriously without those patients will they have a job? They could have seen 5 patients within that time limit and the manager would have been happy with the turnover knowing he could have the best reviews. I hope that something will be done and let them know if there is no one coming in or they are late for their appointment see to the next one while waiting don't ignore.

Dischem Chatsworth has got to be the worst Dischem Pharmacy. I was told to nominate that pharmacy as my designated Pharmacy for my chronic meds and communicated via their WhatsApp...which they widely recommend at the pharmacy.
It's been over 24 hours and they haven't even responded.
When I called they appeared to be busy and I requested to be transferred to the manager who was non existent... eventually cut my call while my paid minutes continued to clock away. Absolutely appalling.

I have posted many reviews about this business, but I cannot imagine a worse place than this. They literally *hate* their clients. They HATE any sick person coming to buy their medication. They *HATE* disabled customers with a passion. If you are disabled, be prepared for the WORST treatment you have *ever* experienced! They treat people like dirt, they are rude, unhelpful and downright nasty. This pharmacy is the absolute *WORST* pharmacy ever! I HATE Dischem Scottburgh with every fibre of my being. You people are garbage!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The waiting time at Dischem Dispensary- Cradlestone Mall is absurd - purely a managerial problem - the pharmacists are knowledgeable and polite just completely understaffed
