They deleted my account no help no support.

Having used discord for years and dealing it numerous issues, they then deleted my account with no details or reason likely a database fault. And their only support was to just create a new account, ignoring the contacts and groups I would now loose contact with. Terrible support and a bad product.

I am submitting this complaint…

I am submitting this complaint regarding Discord, Inc. for banning my Discord account for “ban evasion,” which I believe is incorrect. I have never created, used, or accessed Discord through another account, and I have not attempted to evade any ban.

Summary of issue:
Company: Discord, Inc.
Action taken: Account banned
Reason provided: “Ban evasion”
My position: I have only ever used one Discord account and did not engage in ban evasion.

Actions I have taken:

I submitted an appeal through Discord’s official appeals/support process.

Despite submitting an appeal, I have not received a meaningful update or resolution, and my account remains banned.

Requested resolution:
I am requesting that Discord:

Perform a re-review of the enforcement action on my account that was labeled “ban evasion,” and reinstate/unban my account if the enforcement was applied in error.

I am willing to provide additional information needed to verify my identity and confirm that I have only used one account.

Awful Support Experience

Their support system truly needs an overhaul if their main revenue source is from their users.

I have had a friend get banned randomly with no warning after purchasing a year of Nitro and support would not help them get their account back at all or offer a refund.

Personally, after a free trial of Nitro, I forgot to cancel, my fault, can't blame them for not giving a refund. However, they charged me in USD although they accept CAD. They also charged EXTRA, and to find out why, it's so incredibly frustrating to talk with support; initially, you will get stuck with an AI bot that doesn't answer your questions and will close your tickets. A real human is not much better. They replied that Nitro is charged on a per month basis, doesn't matter if it's Jan with 31 days or Feb with 28 days, and they proceeded to give me a breakdown of all the months in a calendar year (super helpful!!!!) and told me I was prorated for extra days in January because my trial ended earlier than month end even though the trial was for A MONTH. This is so predatory, if the trial is a month long why would it not be for a billing period month? Moreover, I know for a fact I started my trial in the new year, so it didn't even hit the full month. Their extra billed amount also does not equate to the extra 2 days my free trial didn't cover in January. I hate terrible customer service with a passion and I would highly recommend using Discord at its free version only and never spending a cent on it.

Dicord account got suspended unfairly without any evidence and the lack of support.

I am beyond frustrated and exhausted with Discord’s so-called “Trust & Safety” system. So, my discord account got suspended over a false accusing of 'child safety' . my account was actioned without warning and without any clear explanation. I received an automated email claiming I violated Community Guidelines, but Discord never told me what I did, when I did it. They gave no evidence just a tag of broken 'child safety'.

I did everything right. I submitted support tickets. I politely asked for attribution. I asked for a human review. I waited. And waited. And waited. Over a month passed, and every single response I received was from an automated bot repeating the same meaningless lines. No evidence. No context. No human. Just silence or copy-paste replies.

This account wasn’t just “an account” to me. It held my friends, my communities, my memories, my daily social life. Losing it felt like being erased overnight by an algorithm that doesn’t care whether you’re innocent or not. What hurts the most is not even the ban ,it’s the complete lack of accountability. Discord is making serious decisions about real people’s lives using automation and then refusing to explain or review those decisions.

I even escalated outside of Discord, waited weeks again, and still got nothing. Discord simply chose not to respond at all. No company should be allowed to take something this important from someone and then hide behind bots forever.

This is not about refusing to follow rules. This is about zero transparency, zero human support, and zero due process. If Discord is going to rely on AI moderation, then users deserve actual humans when things go wrong. Right now, the system feels cold, careless, and completely indifferent to innocent users who are caught in it.
I’m angry, I’m disappointed, and I feel completely ignored.
All i need is a human mod support but there are none. Discord is disappointing!!!!!

Absolutely pathetic

Absolutely pathetic , imagine a multi billion dollar company that doesn't care about its users, adults and kids included. I was active on the app and the next minute i was logged out and turns out i was banned. Wow, and why was I banned? I guess we'll never know and I doubt discord knows it either because their state-of-the-art bot does wonders really. All my servers, community friends, texts, all gone without any warnings. Followed by months of emails back and forth, support tickets dismissed as solved just for the record and so much more. Man I have so much to say but I have many other sites to write reviews on this a-hole of a company and even more emails because no way i am handing my account just like that. I need my account back and I am gonna get it

NO PRIVACY - STEALS DATA WITHOUT PERMISSION

The discord app does not ask for permission to scan your PC and steal all info it finds - it does it anyways. I specifically chose the permissions options to not have any outside data, accounts, or software linked to discord and yet discord scanned my PC, saw that i had a writing software (that is NOT EVEN CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET) opened on my PC and THE DISCORD APP linked it to my account (WITHOUT MY PERMISSION) and put a permanent pop up on my page continuing to tell me to share that app screen with everyone. I yet again toggled all my permissions to 'off' (as the app toggled them back on without asking), reported that discord had 'identified' the 'game' incorrectly and tried to remove it from the app, and yet it still 'recognized' my competely third party app and used that info within the discord app.

This makes me EXTREMELY uncomfortable about the types of info the discord app steals from you without asking and what they're using it for. the app should not be allowed to wholesale scan your PC and pull all that data from you without even asking permission. if you value your privacy, DO NOT DOWNLOAD

My young son managed to fake his Ai age verification for being over 18 sent in a picture of him aged 13 passed as over 18, complaint to Roblox as it was linked to this game they refused to entertain anything.

Totally discussed how children are safe on this platform I have no idea.

Absolute dogshit customer service. they respond once and then completely ignore you.
If you have Nitro please invest your money in a decent Teamspeak server or anywhere else but Discord.

A platform full of pedophiles, owned by chinese thorough tencent. Sure, its really safe to send them your id, they delet it after you verify, but just forgot to mention in what timespan after verification. Dont be suprised by another data breach containing your credit card and id info.

Discord refuses to support me with my…

Discord refuses to support me with my hacked account. My hacker is running free and scamming people with the same trick while Discord's AI keeps flagging my tickets as closed and ignoring the fact that the hacker put 2FA on my support account which leaves me unable to file tickets under the compromised account.

Screw this support so much. I wouldn't even let my worst enemies suffer this fate.

Lack of human interaction

Hacked, explained all this and submitted a ticket. It's been over a week with a sub par response from the bot, clyde. Since this Microsoft, LinkedIn and other companies resolved my issue but discord seems to let hackers and bots run free around the service.

To sum up lost my account of 8 years and they haven't bothered to respond. Enable 2FA when you have the chance because most likely you'll get hacked.

Lost an 8-Year User Over €9.99

I've been using Discord for eight years.
In over five years, I've only received a refund once.

My Nitro subscription was automatically renewed by mistake. I immediately contacted customer support after being charged €9.99 and never used the subscription.

My refund was denied, with a formulaic response, lacking a human touch and flexibility.

Companies like Blizzard and Microsoft handle these types of situations much better and value long-term users. Discord, however, has opted for a strict loyalty policy.

I canceled my Nitro subscription and won't be going back.
It's not about the money - it's about how they treat their users.

but refuse to send password reset link

took me forever to jump through all their hoops
