I bought an Electra seven HD bariatric…

I bought an Electra seven HD bariatric wheelchair from distributor Discover Your Mobility and also call the people I bought it from online wheelchairsusa.com. I have an error code 42 with my electric wheelchair when I called Discover Your Mobility. They said they couldn’t give me any Technical Assistance. They had to have a work order to just ask a question because it might be a warranty related issue! I don’t even know if it’s a warranty issue but that’s really not the point I’m an amputee and a veteran and I’m kind of stuck at a business away from home because the wheelchair won’t work you can’t push it can’t go nowhere so I’m just stuck. I wouldn’t buying anything from Discover Your Mobility! Funny thing is you could call and get parts from them for which I’ve had to do frequently but they won’t help you win in a jam with problem-solving they want to work order. Unacceptable.

This company sells products that cannot be repaired.

This company sells products that cannot be service. I have an Eagle HD folding power chair. Purchased in 2022 and cost over $5000. The left rear wheel will not disengage. I called and asked for service representatives. They gave me four different companies to call; none of those companies service the chair. It is disgraceful to leave a person needing a power chair without the ability to be mobile.

Not Happy with customer service

normally I don’t write reviews but I need to this time.I’ve bought two power wheelchairs from this company in the last four years ,one recently .The first one , Air Hawk, purchased I had no problems. Support was helpful and courteous. This recent purchase of the Pegasus Plus HD ,was very different. The wheelchair was very expensive and when I received it one of lithium batteries was broken.I called them to explain. The women that answer the phone have been annoyed and impatient with me on every call They did send me a replacement battery but it was the wrong battery. It has been approximately four weeks since the purchase. I have not received the correct battery .when I called they said it was going out today ,no explanation to why it was delayed..Maybe some common courtesy would have helped.

RETURNS/DEATH

My husband never had a chance to use the product. We received the wheelchair when my husband went into rehab. Unfortunately, he passed away very unexpectedly. I called the company & the operator was extremely rude & unsympathetic. She stated its been over 30 days. I told her we did not have it for 30 days and it was never used. She didn't care. Then I emailed the company to see if they would make an exception because of my husband's death. I am on a very strict income now. NEVER received any response from the company. You would think a company that deals with medical equipment would be a little bit more sympathic.

This is an impressive company

This is a wonderful company. I just purchased a Matrix Ultralight electric wheelchair for my 90 year old cousin and the company representative could not have been more kind and helpful. In addition to free shipping, they offer wonderful free add-ons to make the chair even more useful. It would be very easy to take advantage of physically challenged clients but the company’s return policy gives them ample time to test the chair in terms of a possible return. They go above and beyond to be of service and in my opinion, this is a company to be trusted.
