We ordered the Osso Buco alla milanese by Cafe Murano. It was excellent value as there was a membership discount. The meal served 3 adults and there was plenty. Only 2 of us shared the chocolate cake (thankfully)but we could have stretched it to 3 at a push. Serving it with the creme fraiche made it less rich. The veal was very tender, the gremolata full of flavour. We enjoyed the starter of ricotta, beetroot etc. I have been wanting to try Angela Hartnett's food and I was not disappointed. Delivery was on time and everything was included. Brilliant, would recommend

An amazing St John's pie to watch the rugby with this weekend.

The flavours coupled with the simplicity of cooking was what made this experience so good. Almost everything was cooked under the grill other than the sauce and the mash potato.

We’ve been members for a while now and have enjoyed our meals from them . Not every box is perfect but none are inferior and the variety on offer, price and ease of preparation make it a better experience than an ordinary takeaway. It’s easy to order and instructions are clear and comprehensive.
Our latest order was a delicious chicken and tongue pie with mash and a salad followed by spirited duck and cream. All from St John. The quality of ingredients was evident. Great value too.

Arrived on time. Well packaged and clear labelling and instructions. We ordered the Cornish seafood feast which was delicious and really fun to cook together as a date night.

A luxury Rick Stein Box featuring scallops and Lobster. Perfect eating and fun cooking for a birthday celebration.

Our 5th discounted order. Probably the last this year. I enjoy the food, but full price is high without the discount.
The good thing is that one can enjoy a decent wine from your own cellar (Hall cupboard!), and not pay restaurant prices. Another nail in the coffin of the pub trade maybe.
Great food, lovely wine from my own cellar.

Delicious food, easy to prepare and serve.
This is my 2nd box this month, as I had Valentines and a birthday to host.
This is a super easy way to get a dining out experience, with wonderful food, at home

Our first meal with Dishpatch. The entire meal (slow braised short rib by Paul Ainsworth) was delicious! A real treat after work on a Friday. Everything neatly prepared and an easy cook. We're already looking forward to the next...!

Took 7 minutes to make, very tasty and felt healthier than a takeway

I received an email this morning, as a member, that there is 50% off for a meal this weekend if I order before 3.00pm. It did not say order before sold out. At lunchtime, long before the 3.00pm deadline.I tried to order a meal for sick family. and couldn't. I emailed them to be told they sell out very quickly. My £69 membership is a con. This is a very poor way to market and sell to members. Totally unimpressed.

Ordered a Valentines meal box at cost of £136. Advised on day of delivery (13 Feb) that it wouldn't be delivered. Dishpatch blamed DPD, but DPD confirmed they had never received it. Left me in the lurch at very short notice - no alternative available as 'all our menus are sold out'. The only recompense was a £20 voucher against a future order... nothing that actually helped on 14 Feb. In addition they don't ask for consent to send marketing emails, just do it - and these continued after I clicked unsubscribe (having never subscribed in the first place). As part of the Waitrose group it seems they can send marketing emails suggesting I order wine from Waitrose but couldn't, for example, give me a Waitrose voucher that I could actually use on 14 Feb. All very disappointing and left me scrambling around for an alternative on Valentines Day at no notice. Totally unimpressed. Avoid!
Sabrina Ghayour Valentine special delivered on time, well packed and it was as delicious as it sounded. It was something different, better than anything we could get locally and suited the occasion. Pistachio dip, flatbread and salad lovely; the paprika potatoes were a bit overcooked; the apple and cinnamon borekh and vanilla cream were gorgeous. Even my husband, a cinnamon hater enjoyed them. Generous portions (we had the borkh the next day).

Five stars for the brilliant service after reporting very poor DPD handling, which resulted in a broken & leaking dip container, plus some damage to the top of the main dish. Fortunately the Gnocchi main dish was not affected, & was delicious. The side salad, rocket leaves for which a dressing was supplied, was rather unimaginative, as was the bland focaccia, albeit intended for the dip which had almost all leaked into the delivery carton.

The food from Dishpatch can be very good, but it is expensive, and so really is a special occasion thing. And that’s where my problems started.
Dispatch use DPD for delivery, and take no accountability for whether your order will arrive on time or not. I ordered 2x the Rick Stein Cornish Seafood feast as a family dinner for my wife’s birthday (£160 total). The idea was my teenage sons would be able to cook it up and we’d all enjoy together. Delivery was scheduled for the birthday day (a Saturday); on the morning of that day I got a confirmation email to say that delivery would be between 4.30 and 5.30pm. 5.30 came and went, and no sign of my delivery, no updates from either Dishpatch or DPD. Finally by installing the DPD app and digging around for my delivery I was able to find a message saying “Your delivery is delayed”. By this time it was already early evening, too late to get anything else for dinner. Dishpatch customer service have gone, DPD online chat is no help at all. So I was left scrabbling around the cupboards and freezer to find something to cook.
The next day, half of the order arrived. What happened to the rest remains a mystery. Dishpatch customer service response to this is to blame DPD, tell me not to eat the food that did arrive because it’s perishable, and offer me a refund and a £20 voucher. Great, so I don’t have to pay for food I can’t eat, and I have £20 that buys me nothing on Dishpatch so is useless.
To make it worse, a week later I still hadn’t received the refund, and had to chase Dishpatch to send it through.
So, if you’re OK to take your chances, Dishpatch might work for you. If you need certainty about delivery, don’t do it.
