Do Not call Disking out to fix your pc! In fact, do not call them at all is my advice. I called them out as I'd been hit by lightning and the insurance company wanted a basic report done. I wanted it done at my house as I've been stung by a dishonest company before and now it seems it's happened again. The "engineer" turned up ( late) with zero equipment, nor an apology and not even a psu tester which is basic gear that should be carried. He had a big bag ..with nothing useful, or anything? inside that should have been brought with him. He left before the
To cut it short, they lied to me, verbally, and I have it in writing too. They didn't produce a report nor did they refund me the £102.00 (when asked) that they charged me, for the service they didn't provide. They had no intention of testing at my home when they said they could...
Avoid at all costs!
It will cost you dearly if you don't.

First class service and advice today, from buying a Chromebook and trading in a macbook. Customer service first class and made to feel like an IT pro, when actually an IT Donkey . I would not fault the team, they have been nothing but polite. I thought I'd support local but unfortunately I've been saddled with a hugely expensive repair on my MacBook Pro at £220 more expensive than Apple would have charged themselves, plus I had to pick it up myself from a different location than I'd dropped it. The new screen I now have is reconditioned and has permanent marks on the screen. For the £800 odd the repair cost - it should have been a new and perfect screen. I was offered a £50 refund but would need to go to the original drop off point on a different day and to be honest I just will put this expensive mistake down to experience and avoid in future. Sorry Disking you need to step up your customer experience and understand their expectations.

I would like to thank Disking Chichester and in particular Colin for a wonderful, friendly and efficient service. My ASUS motherboard decided to die on me and as such I needed a new one. Colin was very kind in driving out to my place, collecting my PC and advising me on new parts for the PC. My PC is once again up with a new ASUS motherboard, Intel Core-i5 and 32GB of DDR4 Ram and super fast.

I will definitely be using Disking Chichester in the future for all my PC upgrades and new PC's.

Don't trust Disking with an iphone!

I paid them to replace the screen on daughter's iphone and they completely ruined it due to their incompetence.

Wonderful company, not only do they sell laptops but they provide over the phone advice for us oldies. I had a problem printing from my emails, Colin at Chichester branch guided me through the problem.

This is a very honest company selling laptops, iPads, and phones at good prices. They are always willing to help sort out problems. I bought an iPad from them at an amazing price and a couple of days later brought the old one in to help transfer data from that one to the new one, They did it in an instant very successfully, Thank you Disking.

Had my new laptop setup by Disking Liphook, it needed more work than anticipated due to arriving with no windows 10! Beware buying off Techinn! Maria at Disking was very helpful and the service was excellent value for money for the setting up of my machine that I would have had no hope of achieving! Will definitely use Disking again.

Excellent service from Cranleigh branch. Took my 6-year-old failing laptop in on Monday and collected it with a new solid state hard drive on Wednesday. The Godalming branch (on the eve of closing down due to lease expiry) had recommended this solution as a cheaper alternative to buying a new laptop. I got my old drive to take home in case of future data loss. Sadly, this branch closed a few weeks later.

Couldn't help fix the issue with my work laptop but Joe was very helpful in recommending an alternative. Would come back

I have previously purchased items from Disking with no problem,.
Recently I purchased an HDD external hard drive specifically for use on my new TV for recording.
I bought from Disking because
a) I like to support High Street shops
b) I thought that if there was a problem, I could return it.

There was a problem: It did not work on my tv ( other HDD's work fine).
I requested a refund. They said they would refund me but would charge a 30% restocking charge.
I find this unsatisfactory for a High Street shop. I will not purchase from them again.

Sadly my old laptop broke, so I went to my local Disking in Farnham who after giving it a full appraisal, gave me the bad news. It was irreparable. After a few questions regarding use, I was given details of the best new laptop for me, taking into account functions and price. The next day I went back in to the shop to collect it. Before I paid, Joe configured it for me from my old hard disk and answered my questions fully. As someone who is non technical, I need reliable experts who can give advice and help with queries. The staff at Farnham Disking definitely fall into this description. Thank you.

Good honest and very fair. I recommend them to everyone. No job to big or small. Always worth a visit.

I had also liked Disking, despite being a corporate. Godalming branch was always very helpful and knowledgable, and even did small jobs for free, knowing you would be back for larger jobs to be undertaken. Now the old manager has gone and all the 'old staff' gone, the skill set seems to have diminished. You are charged for every single little thing, including if Disking had recently looked at your computer at an exorbitant cost, and you forgot to mention something, for them to go and look /amend the bit you had forgotten, you get charged the full amount again.
I also went to the Petersfield branch, trying to pick something up when visiting a friend in the area. It appeared an effort for the 'gentleman' to lift his head to acknowledge me, and spoke curtly when informing me they didn't sell the item and went back playing his game or texting or whatever he was doing.
Given disking shops are often placed in small towns where shop loyalty still remains, Disking should be more wise and look at the bigger picture rather than short term gains as repeated custom is not a given.
