We got an AuDHD diagnosis for my son while we were living in Australia then immediately moved to the UK. When exploring options to get him suitable medication once we arrived here, Divergence were the only place who didn't see an opportunity to make money by charging us to start the diagnosis process all over again. We're so grateful to Sara and the whole team for going out of their way to make our Australian diagnosis work and our son is making great progress.

I've been diagnosed with ADHD in 2 countries, and used 3 services. I'm on the upper end of chaos. Had some big life changes good and bad, the service help me achieve some high goals. I'm not as muddled or as chaotic. I went from forgetting my first appointment and losing my documents to not only remembering my last appointment but having a cuppa ready. So some massive improvement, the team have been great as I've had to pivot quickly on different medications as one didn't suit me at all, and as I was studying a heavy science based subject I couldn't really drop the ball, and divergence was super helpful. Like to thank Becky who dealt with me, was great at listening to me rabbit on, she only asked if I was okay, poor lady ears probably was burning, but patient and helpful. 5 out of 5 would recommend.

Would and have highly recommended this company . They were great with the process of diagnosing my teenage daughters ADHD. At no time did I feel it was about making money .They are thoughtful and caring. My husband went through another provider before we came across Divergence and it was a very different experience .With him it felt more like handing out diagnoses like smarties . With my daughter it was a thorough process and by no means a foregone conclusion she would be diagnosed with ADHD.

So far, so good. All the staff have been exceptionally patient and empathetic without losing rigour or standards. Everything has been exceptionally well explained for both myself and my daughter.

The impact on my life has been huge. I feel more focused, more balanced, and more in control than I have in years. Everyday tasks feel achievable rather than exhausting. My confidence has grown, my relationships have improved, and I finally feel like I’m moving forward instead of constantly battling my own mind.

Divergence and Andrew have been absolutely fantastic in assessing me and my daughter. Not just assessing/diagnosing, but helping us both through the tricky process of accepting, processing and working with the diagnosis. Andrew is brilliant at explaining ADHD and how it can affect us all in different ways, and has really helped us both to understand aspects of ourselves that are affected by ADHD, and how best to manage them.

The transformation in our home life since both being diagnosed and treated is unbelievable. Our household is so much calmer and less stressful, our relationship with our daughter is so much more positive and less confrontational now that we are all aware of the difficulties each other are facing.

Andrew has also been fantastic during the medication triage phase, working with us both closely and individually to find what works best (e.g. my daughter has sensory issues that prevent her from swallowing tablets, Andrew was able to use his expertise to find the right medication to suit this). He even managed to sort out a shared care agreement for myself, which seems to be very rare these days.

Can’t thank Andrew and Divergence enough, absolutely the best ADHD service you will find, with real experts who aren’t just following an assessment script, but truly know the ins and outs of the condition.

After 20 exhausting years of repeatedly trying to communicate the same concerns to the NHS without any real understanding or solutions, my journey with Divergence has been nothing short of life-changing. Within a brief 5-10 minute conversation, I felt truly heard and deeply understood, something I'd almost given up hope on ever experiencing.

Divergence UK are just amazing. I just wish I'd found them sooner! Clinicians were able to engage my daughter easily and look at all her strengths as well as her struggles. I have been seeing Michael monthly, as he prescribes me medication for my ADHD. He is absolutely fantastic- he's lovely, easy going and very informative. I could not recommend him more, he has made the trial process a breeze and I am seeing great results from my medication.

Fantastic care from start finish !! My Son was significantly struggling with the challenges he faced inside and outside of school. The impact on him was difficult to watch as parents and seemed like he had just pressed the self destruct button and there was nothing we could do about it. With him heading into his final year of secondary we didn't feel like we could wait to access support so we looked into an assesment.

At all points on his journey he was at the centre of his care and involved in decisions which were tailored to him. Even though he was a little more complex we given clear choices in a understandable manner which has led to life changing results.

He's now heading into his final year with a new found confidence from being able to understand himself better with tools to give it his best shot.

I can't speak highly enough of Michael. He is an absolute gem of an asset to the neurodivergent community and I am extremely glad that I chose him to guide me through the assessment and treatment process.

My ADHD self discovery journey started when my daughter was diagnosed with ASD a few years back. I couldn't help noticing that I shared a lot of her traits. I was referred via the NHS but when the waiting times became so unbearable, I decided to go private and I'm so glad I did!

Michael has guided me through the full process - foundation assessment, diagnostic assessment and medication reviews with ease and really made me feel included in all decisions about my treatment which I really value. He is also really knowledgeable on how female hormones affect a woman coping with ADHD throughout the monthly cycle.

Now that I've been diagnosed with combined ADHD Michael has played a huge part not only in the diagnosis and treatment but also in helping me to understand myself better and build better foundations for success. He's encouraged me to stop being so hard on myself and to start seeing myself in a more positive light.

Michael is really genuine, trustworthy, down to earth, caring and compassionate and this comes through every time you speak to him.

I finally took the initiative to get an assessment and I am very happy I did it with divergence (divergenceuk.org). It was all done remotely via video conference but there have been no issues thus far. I was not pressured in one direction or another in terms of treatment preferences and was only provided with a professional opinion when I asked. I decided to go with this private assessor and I continue to pay out of pocket because my GP was not resourceful when it came to 'Right to Choose' and the NHS and only provided two local options and one of them wasn't accepting new patients anymore. The way I see it, the assessment was an investment in my future and I didn't see the value in waiting months if not years to be assessed just to wait even longer for titration and continued care. Three cheers for divergence!

From start to finish the service provided by Divergence has been brilliant. I have gone through full diagnosis and titration of medication and now at the point of requesting shared care with my GP.

Every stage has been well-explained, there's always access to the clinician for any questions or concerns, they've been flexible in scheduling and moving appointments, and the monthly online face-to-face calls prove super helpful.

I couldn't recommend going to Divergence highly enough and if you can, ask for Michael. He's great.

In terms of fees, Divergence are transparent about their costs, making the decision around treatment easier.

I liked the way Michael explained things it was very helpful. There was no pressure and that helped me open up more.

Careful thorough assessment process. Compassionate and thoughtful throughout. The clinicians took as much time as was needed to explain everything. Great care was taken to provide information and plans in a manner that was palatable, clear and reinforced their ethos. Following assessment, the treatment appointments again were regular, thorough and great care taken to discuss and think through options.
I would not hesitate to recommend Divergence.
