Poor facility- avoid

I have impeccable credit (which I check regularly) have probably what is deemed as a high income; applied for interest free credit over 12 months. Instantly declined with no explicable reason.

So my credit score, has taken a dent for no reason. Paid for the goods on credit card, which will be paid off in a few months- wish I did this in the first place.

Thanks for nothing.

The most common reason why people get surprised when they are declined credit is because they have not reviewed their credit rating that day. Credit ratings fluctuate day-to-day for a number of reasons; the total amount of credit you are using, recently lost or had a reduction in income, moved house, missed payments, been a victim of identity theft etc. Another reason people get declined is that they did not complete the application correctly or that their identity could not be verified, this will in most cases lead to an automatic decline.

There are three main credit rating bureaus in the UK; Experian, TransUnion and Equifax. As lenders can use any of them you have to check your credit rating with all of them before making a credit application if you want to avoid surprises.

If you are concerned about this application leaving a negative mark, do review your credit history with each of the credit rating bureaus. If you can not see any references to this transaction, the application did not leave a mark on your credit history.

If you do see a negative mark, and think it is unfair, you can ask to have it removed through the credit rating bureau, either online, by mail or over the phone. No way of checking who declined and why. Terrible service

I can’t understand why I was declined credit when I am employed with a good disposable income and credit record. Applied for 6 months interest free credit for convenience and now will have this negative blot on my credit history. I have no idea who the lender was who declined my credit and Divido provide no details nor do they answer emails, so how do I get to query this?
My advice - don’t waste your time. Have now paid cash for the purchase, should have done that from the beginning.

great. but

fantastic and easy, however i would have loved a pdf confirmation of the contract.

I am unsure about the direct debits as i have payed the deposit but the direct debit has not shown up on my bank account yet

Great to have 0% finance however…

Great to have 0% finance however following the acceptance of my application I received no communication confirming this. Nor did I receive any information on when my direct debit would be taken out. Contacted them via email with no response as I write this 4 days later and tried calling multiple times with no answer.

Recently purchased an eve sleep…

Recently purchased an eve sleep mattress (26-8-19)and decided to take 0% finance . Divido had taken a deposit for the finance which they had taken twice . I called them up the following morning and spoke to them about it to which at the time it had not cleared so they couldn't do anything and asked me to call back when it had cleared. I checked this morning (30-8-19) to see If it had cleared so i could call them back and to my surprised it had cleared and the second deposit had already been returned ! Overall the customer service was great and the company clearly has its priority set right .

Retailers - be very careful!

Be very careful - as a retailer!
As a retailer be very careful using Divido as a credit provider. They approached us, worked with us for 2 years, and then changed strategy and dropped us like a stone....and in the wind down period we got a much higher occurrence of failed credit applications, which was damaging for the business and brand.

Much Appreciated

A much appreciated, and very friendly service. Diligent and easy to navigate. Communication from and with Gustaf and Charlotte was smooth and simple as we processed some additional questions to complete the assessment. I especially appreciated the responsiveness of the team given the bank holiday Sunday on which this transaction took place. The signing process was a little challenging due to low vision as all documents are presented in image form, but the important docs were also supplied as PDF by email. If I hadn't had a friend on hand to read the final code, I know I could have quickly emailed for an alternative signing solution. I'd definitely recommend Divido to others.

James Holland is amazing and helped me through the process with skill and expertise and when things got tough, he sure got going and sorted them out.
