Their business model doesn’t work as they set the rental rates based on the current market, and charge a 8-10% increase in rent yearly as well as this percent to purchase. I contacted them in regards to renegotiate and they told me some other company handles that and there is nothing they can do. I used this service in July of 2022, the absolute high of the market, and even though the current market value has gone down 10% YoY they are charging 10% more for rent and purchase price. You cannot “save” to purchase this property if it was purchased for 300k and its current value goes down 10% but they want to sell it for 330k…beware before you sign a rent to own

I was nervous when i first moved into the home because i had a maintenance repair right off the bat that took over a week to resolve with a lot of back and forth that i felt could have been prevented. However i love their maintenance scheduling system which allowed me to pick dates and times that worked for me and the fact it was all done online through my portal account was very convenient and have not had any issues sense which has been really great.
The real star at Divvy is the head of money, Kaylin. I recently had a horrible bank experience that left me short on funds during an investigation and i had no idea how i was going to pay my rent. Even though it was a weekend, Kaylin called me and i didn't feel like i was just a number. Actually on the call the first thing she told me is "i know you are stressed. How can we get this resolved together" on that call i just casualy mentioned to her that i had set an appointment at a rent help agency a few days later. That day came and i was so stressed. I hit traffic, was running late and didnt even have all my documents. But I showed up at the agency anyway and the case agent said not only did Kaylin already send us all the documents we need she already signed everything and all we need is your signature. When i tell you i was shocked that she went out of the way to not only go contact the agency but also send them everything i was just so truely greatful. If more companies had someone like Kaylin the world would be a better place.
Complicated procedures with lots of different people, emails, texts, calls, etc... But the employees are responsive, helpful and care about the customer. At this point we are waiting for Divvy to address issues with the rental... we'll know more soon.
Maintenance. The house was not ready for move in. There are things that still need to be fix and repair. People should not be charged all especially a prorated charge when the house wasn’t ready, plumbing in bathroom, stover broken, water leaking from sink knob in bathroom when show is turn on knob for sink leaks. This should not be a request to be fix it should be fix now
The plumber they sent over was very friendly and nice. Honest too!
Our experience with divvy was definitely a positive one. The process was fast, seamless, and worth it!
They made renting a house very easy and less expensive! Can't wait to enjoy my new place

Went out of their way to take all of my savings when I moved out and their repair guy was a joke.

The things that needed to be addressed per our contract within 3 weeks of move in STILL needed to be addressed when we moved out 18 months later.

I have been patient with the reply and service request however the fact that there isn’t anyone to directly call when I have a problem and they solve it . I had just moved into my house and I was not given any ideas or instructions on where to find the mailbox, about the garbage schedule pick up and my garage door has not been working properly since we moved in 4 days ago and the maintenance never showed up or called as scheduled.

I worked with Deanna Stout as the escrow agent on my most recent transaction. Though there were some issues that arose throughout the process, she and her team came through for the buyer and our brokerage. Great communication! I cannot speak on the sales side of DIVVY homes, or their mortgage department, but title came through in a pinch.
