D & J's RV Rentals - six safety issues

Rented drivable RV thru RVShare (Little Falls, NY).

~ After we retrieved, noticed the furnace roof vent was broken, owner did not know.
~ Noticed a windshield crack on the driver’s side, owner did not know.
~ Generator only ran less than 6 hours, trouble shooted, notified owner, and bought parts. Oil was black.
~ Noticed registration was expired, owner text the updated registration proof on day 8 of the rental.
~ NY safety inspection expired.
~ Oil change overdue even at beginning of the trip.
~ Woke to bathroom vent missing, water on floor from rain, replaced vent.
~ TV fell off of wall when traveling.
~ Technician filled propane tank, told us that the valve was faulty and that there was something wrong.
~ NO way to secure RV, rear left window with no lock.
~ Man door warped, screen door missing screen, broken. Very hard to get out.
~ No working batteries in smoke detector.
~ GPS advertised as working but it did not.
~ Rough start to engine every time, ran loud.
~ Dump tank valve was faulty and leaking. Waste leaking when cap removed, before hose could be attached and before valve engaged, i.e. waste on hands!
~ Drawers fell out while traveling, used duct tape to secure.
~ Upper cabinet hinge broken, third to the left above couch.
~ Screen missing driver’s side window at couch.
~ AC vents broken above bed.
~ Dash vent broken.
~ Broken bottom door shelf attachment in refrig.
~ Toilet rinse hose not working.
~ Dents and other broken items as noted/documented in the walk around inspection.
~ Returned RV in immaculate condition and was told I would receive full deposit. Within hours, I received texts accusing me of causing the cracked windshield, a stain on the carpet, blowing out the exhaust, a lost hub cap, and speeding. With a 10% penalty withheld on the deposit.
~ The Return Form was not reviewed, signed, or presented until well after the return.
~ Owner provided a copy of any speeds over 65 mph, although not advertised or in the RVShare contract. Regardless of state posted speed limits. Used overage as defense for broken items and poor maintenance.
~ Dispute process with RVShare and the owner involved multiple pages, copies of texts, pictures, etc., and the final resolution DID NOT ADDRESS any of the safety issues or anything else except for alleged reckless driving over 65 mph. BTW, drivers have clean records and no police involvement.
