Going to another country for a major surgery can be a scary process. My experience with Dr. Berke Ozucer and his staff was anything but! From first interaction with his patent advocate, to the surgery and after care, my experience was top notch. The hospitality, care and kindness truly created a very secure enviroment from the get go. I did a lot of research on Dr. B's education and skill level before I chose him. He only works with the face and that was important to me. He has in depth training on facial reconstruction and that gave me deep confidence in his knowledge of the face. His skill is astounding. His education and continued learning is impressive. Upon meeting him, I felt instantly connected to him and his team. Dr. B is Friendly, intelligent, succinct, confident and caring. You feel the importance of an incredible result from him.
His clinic is located in an upscale area on the Asian side of Istanbul. It was a lovely experience to be there while recovering.
The Memorial Goztepe hospital was brand new, modern and lovely. The care I received there was top notch (with an English interpreter provided at all times when needed.) The team he has surrounded himself with was also lovely and hard working. I adored them all. I truly miss the people I met for 10 days.
The surgery went well and the healing began. I had tolerable pain the first day and a half, and then it is just discomfort and swelling. I can't say enough about his skill level. You are given all medications and ointments needed for after care. You are seen after surgery about 4 times in the first 8 days. Response time to questions are quick and prompt. I returned home to Denver after 12 days and that was plenty of time.
One thing Dr. B highly recomends is that it is imperative to bring a companion to help you after surgery. I can not agree more or stress this enough. His team is in demand and busy, they work 6 days a week. They are always present in the times they are with you, but they can not be there to offer emotional security throughout your healing. Bring a loved one!
Lastly, if you are considering a face lift, I hope you choose Dr B and his team. I hope you have the same incredible experience and results that I did. Good luck on your journey.

Dr. Berke and his team were amazing. I travelled from Canada to Turkey for septoplasty/rhinoplasty. They were super friendly and helpful. The surgery was successful and I had little to no scarring. Would recommend 10/10.

Dr. Berke Ozucer is an excellent doctor. I had nose surgery because my nose was severely damaged. During the operation, the doctor also discovered a large hole in my nasal septum (about 1 cm), but he handled it perfectly.
Now my nose looks beautiful and functions properly. For the first time in many years I can breathe freely again.

After a failed facelift surgery in the past, I was not only unhappy with the result but also had damage around my ear area. Came from the US for my Rhinoplasty. It is super difficult to choose a Doctor in Turkey. There are plenty of options, and it is difficult to know who you can trust. Dr. Berke and his team are amazing. everyone is Super professional, organized, easy to communicate with, and speaks English. If you have any questions or concerns, his team is always available to answer. Also, regarding his bed manners and communications, he is super amazing and professional, similar to my experience in the US, which is quite rare in Turkey.

Regarding the results, I am super happy. He asked me what I wanted before the surgery and gave his recommendation, which was tailored based on my face (not generic recommendations that it is the same for everyone). The final result was exactly the same.

From the first day I came to the interview, everyone's positive approach and conveying all the details about the process made me feel safe and ready for the operation. I am grateful for giving me my smile back.
