Always great. Good products, nice staff!

Jen at the gyle centre grooming dept is one of the best. Took Reggie our Chow Chow in once again for groom. And first few times he has been anxious but this time he was fine and wow he looks amazing. Highly recommended her

Hi - have used Dofus now for about six years. Brilliant service from an old established company. Besides the great food selection and numerous locations, their grooming services are next to none. Our groomer “Abby” goes the extra mile, our labradoodle “Bracken” is in love with her! He comes out looking like a “crufts” advert, almost unrecognisable! Well done guys, you’ve revamped an extraordinary vintage pet and food supplier.

We have just recently changed our groomer to Abby at Dofos and are over the moon with the results. Our pooch comes out looking catwalk ready 🤣

Our wee dog is a bag of nerves, normally he reacts the same to the groomers, as he does when going to the vets, and has to be dragged in! However, Abby was so good with him, he was like a different dog. He looked lovely and his grooming was done so well. Thank you Abby

Rosie has had severe anxiety when visiting groomers in the past, however she has been going to see Abby for a couple of years now and each time she goes it gets easier and easier for her, a sure sign that Abby cares for her wellbeing and happiness as well as ensuring she always comes out looking and smelling amazing 🥰

Levi, our 2 year old Bichon Frise, has been getting groomed at Dofos’s South Gyle store since his first puppy groom. For the most part he has been groomed by Abby who has done a superb job each and every time. Bichons are not a straight forward groom as their tails need to be long haired and fluffy as do their ears while their white curls need to be retained on their body. Despite Levi having a few matts now and again Abby has always managed to keep his coat looking great without trimming close to the skin.

I often see dogs who are very nervous waiting for their grooms to the point they are shaking but not Levi as he’s always excited to see Abby, tail wagging and tongue out ready for kisses!! Levi hates a bath at home so you would think he knows what’s coming when he goes for a groom but he’s always happy and excited when he goes there - I think that’s testament to how good Abby is with dogs that she is grooming as the wee man has never been stressed at all!

We have been taking our Flat-Coated Retriever to Dofos since she was a puppy. She has been to both Stockbridge & Portobello stores to be groomed and always comes out looking fab! The treats always go down well and the staff are always lovely, Rachel in particular! We are recognised and welcomed. Truly great customer service! Thank you

I use Dofos in Portobello High Street. Erin was very helpful today when I was trying to find a dog food my son’s very fussy dog would like. Highly recommend them.

I took my golden retriever to get a groom as he was looking abit untidy. I wish i had not taken him now as he now looks like a labrador, scalped all over - looks like a completely different dog and I feel a groomer should have a knowledge on different breed types and should of known not to do this.

Unfortunately we are very disappointed with the service Dofos has given us. We had our dog groomed and the results have left us horrified. We spoke about what we wanted and instead just had our dog shaved all over. Our English Cocker Spaniel now looks terrible and not even like a cocker spaniel.

Just the best. Used them for 15 years approx. Across 2 hamsters (gruff and grizzly bear), 2 cats (jet and Leo), and a dog (Freddie). Gyle branch is great for handstripping our border terrier.

After adopting Jess from the dogstrust I realised that as somebody that had never had a dog before I really was unsure of what I should feed her. Jess is a 7 year old Labrador.

I took a visit to Dofos in south gyle, edinburgh and these guys were amazing. I had visited Pets at Home and had a good experience however this experience blew that out the water.

They unquestionably know there stuff, they like dogs and made me and Jess and my daughter both relaxed. The chap (whose name I forget) walked through some of the basics of the food, the benefits to Jess, what to look out for and what additional things Jess might like to bring balance to her.

The food is a bit more expensive than in some shops however the quality more than makes up for for it.

Have signed up to their loyalty programme and will be back when this food runs out.
