Ordered for the first time the other…
Ordered for the first time the other day as I live on a main road and I worry my two dogs will run out. I am going on holiday and wanted something like this to make me not worry as much when my sister looks after my dogs. I was initially unhappy as although delivery was fast I was only sent the gate with no other parts. I called the help line and someone answered straight away who was very polite and said they will get me the parts straight away.
The parts came quicker than expected and my Husband fitted the gate today and we are very happy with it.

Too fiddly to be fit for purpose
Have been using this gate in our kitchen doorway for a couple of months and I'm quite disappointed. It's so fiddly to relatch the gate and usually requires two hands or a hand and a foot which makes it impossible to use when carrying anything or in a rush. The main reason I bought it was to keep the dogs away when opening the front door but it takes so long to relatch that I've been close to missing deliveries or just have to let the dogs through anyway.
I was excited about this gate because it can fold fully out of the way when not in use, but I'll now be switching to a more conventional gate for reliability. A real shame having spent £110 on this.

A fantastic item that solved a big problem!
Living in an apartment, with French doors leading to a balcony, we needed something the cats couldn’t break or escape through. After some research I found the cat g8. It’s perfect. I didn’t want something ugly or something we couldn’t remove when not needed.
Great communication, fast delivery. Easy set up. And can finally have the door open!! I really recommend this product.

Good until it falls off
I really love this gate - it makes things much easier when answering the door.
However, I had to use the sticky pads provided as I can’t drill it in. The gate often falls off because the pads aren’t strong enough.
Defeating the purpose of the gate because I don’t trust its safety 100%.
