Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 720 reviews, reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. People are very pleased with the comprehensive blood testing and how readily available and well-explained the results are within the app. Reviewers find the overall user experience a game-changer, noting the encouraging impact of proactive health management and the detailed insights provided about personal health status. However, some customers felt that the suggested actions are too basic, such as adding leafy greens, or that the weekly guidance lacks sufficient personalization based on their test results. A few other people also felt that the app could benefit from showing a history of completed actions and that occasional technical issues, like app crashes, were encountered.

There's no better way to be fully proactive with your health

I love that this helps me to be even more proactive with my health. It's always been something I've looked after & taken seriously, but I'm aware there can be hidden health issues I wouldn't know about until it was potentially too late if I didn't have something that could monitor my biomarkers regularly. We get one body, & it's for life, we can't trade it in like we can our car so we need to look after it & respect it.

Great customer service

I signed up as the idea really appeals to me and I love Dr Chatterjee. Sadly there was no where very local to me for the blood tests and so I asked for a refund which was promptly and courteously dealt with.

If things change I will return.

Quick response

I asked to cancel my membership as there were no testing facilities close to my location. The response was immediate and apologetic.

Get involved

Overall to date, the whole experience has been very good and straightforward to set up. The app and the first set of results are very useful to allow me to further improve my health. I am looking forward to my next appointment to see if my changes have made a difference - very confident that they will.

I would highly recommend get involved and seeing your health status - to be able to see what is really going on within yourself and be able to improve it.

Information Takes Away the Guesswork

I've found it so helpful to find out what's working well and what's working less well in my body, so that I can do something about it. Part of the reason for joining was to keep informed about my cholesterol levels, but I was disappointed to find out that the second blood tests are not as extensive as the first ones, and don't include LDL Cholesterol. However, I've been in touch with Do Health to query this and have been advised that this will be re-checked at the annual baseline checks. Furthermore, their response explained that ApoB is a stronger indicator of cardiovascular risk than LDL alone, so I felt that my concern had been suitably answered.

Thanks a lot 💚

Indeed, ApoB usually is the much better indicator to look at 🙂

First Time User

Appointments for blood tests were easy to book and results came through quickly, with actionable points. My only piece of feedback so far is that some of the action points are things I'm already doing...... so it would be more useful if the ' action' points were more tailored and personalised and consider actions already being taken.

Excellent customer service

Having signed up to have my blood taken, it was discovered on attending, that my blood pressure was too high to do so. I was referred to my GP who in turn referred me to cardiology - suspecting I have angina. While I am still awaiting that appointment, I felt that now was not the time to embark on this journey, preferring to await the results of the cardiology appointment. Do Health readily agreed to refund my fee to allow me to tackle the issue first. I was most impressed and will seriously consider signing up again once I have the go ahead from my GP.

Essential for taking control of your health

This is essential to understand your health and take control of your life. Having followed Dr Chatterjee for several years (the Martin Lewis of the medical world) I was so pleased to see this programme launched.

The whole process has been really quick and smooth, within 7 days of applying I have my results back, I now know what is good and not so good and a plan to address issues. The AI is great too to answer so many questions.

This really should from part of the UK health system.

This service offers a unique ability to…

This service offers a unique ability to track key health markers, along with tailored advice on how to improve health outcomes. All offered at an affordable cost. This preventative approach is sadly lacking in the NHS. Could do with more locations in the South West.

Buyers beware

Initially, this seemed like a refreshing and innovative way to learn more about my health, endorsed by a well-known doctor. However, the reality and value for money are somewhat lacking, particularly in the onboarding process for new customers.

The introductory price offers three blood tests. The first provides a breakdown of 55 markers, but the follow-up tests only show a fraction of this information.

What I found incredibly disappointing and infuriating was the AI bot Joy, which offered little more than common sense. As I’ve already mentioned in feedback to Do Health, I gained more insight by entering my results into a search engine and using AI to create a tailored meal and exercise plan to address some of the issues flagged by the initial blood test.

The after-support is nonexistent. It relies on the user interacting with AI to guide it and introduces silly daily “tasks” that you have to mark off each day without providing much clarity on what you’re working towards or the end goal. I’m surprised the reviews are as positive as they are.

My experience with their third-party clinic for blood tests was far from ideal. My nearest clinic is over 60 miles away. The appointment requires you to fast for at least 12 hours beforehand and arrive 10 minutes early.

I travelled to the clinic, arriving 10 minutes ahead of schedule, only to be asked to wait. My appointment time came and went, and people who arrived after me were seen before me. I was eventually seen 30 minutes after my original appointment time, and no apology was given. The nurse was far from apologetic; in fact, they made it my problem that I was making them feel rushed because I had other prior work commitments that I would have made had this appointment not been delayed. Reading other reviews, it would seem that I was fortunate to even be seen. Others had appointments cancelled and other nonsense.

Beware to those considering this service. Personally I believe it does not offer enough information of what the product actual is. I have already informed Do Health I plan to highlight this to Trading Standards as more transparency is needed. It may be helpful to note that Do Health have offered me a partial refund due to having had my first blood test. I would not recommend this service to friends or family. Feels a bit scammy to me.

Such kind and efficient help provided immediately

The Do Health representative dealt with my request immediately, by return, and very graciously came back with an offer to help me. She solved the challenge in such a polite and gracious way with a very positive attitude; simply very keen to help.
