Dit is niet zomaar een bakfiets. Dit is Dolly: jouw maatje in het dagelijks verkeer, je sidekick bij schoolruns en supermarktmissies. Hij rijdt zó lekker dat je bijna vergeet waarom je onderweg bent. Vol vertrouwen, nul gedoe, altijd klaar voor avontuur (of gewoon een pak luiers). Stap op, je dag wacht. Geen poeha, wél ruimte, rijcomfort en een ontwerp waar je blij van wordt. Alles voelt stevig, doordacht en gemaakt voor het echte leven – van schoolrit tot stortbui. En misschien nog wel het fijnst: achter Dolly zit een merk dat écht snapt waar jij tegenaan loopt. Daarom voelt een Dolly niet als zomaar een bakfiets, maar als een maatje waar je op kunt vertrouwen.

Two stars because it is a bike that is working. Now, the service, that it is part of their selling strengths has been terrible. 3-4 weeks until they come for a service. I have been driving a bike for two weeks without a working screen. So I don’t know in what mode I am cycling, how much battery I have left.
On the actual day they would come for the service we receive an e-mail telling us that the person that was planned to come for the service and repair is sick; no replacement, no new date, nothing.
Just terrible. I will not be reccomending dolly, and we should have definitely gone with a different company.

We love how easy it is to ride. We can carry 3 kids with the new model although it is a bit tight with the Maxi cosi, it truly is a life saver for us.
It was nice that they provided a test drive so we knew how it’ll be for our kids and for us to drive. They delivered it with the Maxi Cosi adapter and rain cover installed already so we didn’t need to do it ourselves.

Perfect service, fast, helpful and very friendly email replies. We are also very happy with the bakfiets, which we have for about a year now. Only the front tire and front lights are broken, but probably that was just bad luck.

Dolly is a great bike overall in a very competitive price. The customer service is great and the maintenance service is also amazing.
I’m giving 4 stars becasue I have encountered a few issues:
Within the first couple of months, the display stopped working and the bike was not turning on becasue the buttons had broken. This got fixed within a week and the whole system was replaced with the older model.
The brakes was squeaking but that also got fixed.
After 6 months the gear display also stopped working. The gears were fine but the indication was broken. It got replaced at the last maintenance service.
Overall I am super happy and I have massively used the bike and recommended it to other friends. I never had any issue with the communication and the staff is super responsive. A few small issues with the bike got solved promptly.

I have been an owner of a brand new Dolly customer for 6 months and immensely regretted this purchase. I am now a owner of Urban Arrow second hand for a year (which cost the same price ) and extremely satisfied. What did go wrong:
- Poor engine and display screen quality ( Bafang technology from China). Go for Bosch (no need to describe) like other strong renown bakfiets ( Gazelle, UA, Lovens). The motor simply stops work after 6 months and the screen goes black for no reason.
- Poor and arrogant customer service not open to feedback. Their pre-sales service claim that they can come to your place to fix or replace anything. They can certainly do but only between 9-5pm and you have to wait at least 5 days.
Basically if you buy a Dolly, you are at their mercy if you are not happy about something. Whereas if you buy any other bakfiets, you can go to your next door bike shop and fix it quickly with honest and unpartial feedback.

The bakfiets was delivery by Michel who was very friendly and who took the time to show us the basics and make sure we understand how use the bike.
It is actually very easy to ride and my kids love it.

I had an appointment today 9:00-12:00 for service check. Tracker said 9:40-10:40. I called at 10:40, they told me the driver had some traffic, he will arrive soon. She was jot able to give a time indication, but she re-assured me it should not take more than 1h.
Since then no one came or called. I tried to call also in the afternoon, no customer support.
This is very unprofessional. I waited the entire morning for someone to come! We were not able to fulfill our plans for the morning. I am very disappointed with this approach. It is very unprofessional to not keep your appointment but also not to call to inform of the delay! I was expecting more from Dolly’s service…
The man who came to repair the bike was friendly, kind, and respectful. I really appreciated his effort as it was difficult to get parking nearby. Top man! He represents this organization well!

The cargo bike so far is great and working nicely. The delivery guy gave a great description of how to use it and in detail technicalities.
However, in order to purchase the cargo bike - I couln not use the in3 payment you're offering on the website. As I mentioned via direct email the In3 is setting up a cap on the amount you can purchase for - hence I was not allowed to spend more than 1750 euro which created a lot of hustles for me as I had to use my savings to buy it. I will kindly ask you to review your partners for this split payment and choose one that actually fits all your consumers. Klarna is a good example.
On a technical side- many times when I push the ON button to start, I get an ERROR 36 code. It disappears once I up the speed level, but I think it should not appear at all.
