We had a great experience working with Mila. My husband has a small business, and we needed a lot of guidance to manage our new domain. She was responsive, so helpful and a great problem solver.

Reached out with a domain recommendation I owned a complimentary domain to. I said yes, a few days later they got it and pushed it to me.

Domain Lions is a registered US company specializing in the domain aftermarket. Our mission is to help businesses and entrepreneurs acquire strategic digital assets that protect and elevate their brand identity in a complex digital landscape. In today's competitive market, a premium domain name is more than just an address—it's a cornerstone of brand authority, customer trust, and effective marketing. However, the best domains are often already taken. That's where we come in. Our business model is transparent and straightforward: we identify and acquire high-value, expired domain names that have become available on the open market. We then proactively reach out to the most logical new owners—often businesses with similar names or those operating on less common extensions—to give them the first opportunity to secure their brand's matching .com version. We are NOT a registrar that you use to register a new domain for $10. We are a specialized service that provides access to premium, previously owned domains that are no longer available for standard registration. Our unwavering commitment to ethical, professional, and secure transactions is the foundation of our business. Every purchase is protected by an unconditional 14-day, 100% money-back guarantee, ensuring there is absolutely zero risk for our clients. We utilize world-class payment processors like Stripe and PayPal, and we never see or store your financial information. We understand that the domain industry can be confusing. Our goal is to be a trusted partner, providing clarity, opportunity, and a secure pathway to owning the perfect domain for your brand.

Absusively complicated and delay-prone

The process was incredibly and abusively complex. I have administered many domains and transferred several and the registrar system used by Domain Lions (GNAME) is the most convoluted and complex ever.

Hi Mark,

Thank you for your feedback. We are genuinely sorry to hear that you found the final transfer process with the domain's registrar (Gname) to be so incredibly complex and frustrating.

We completely understand. While our team strives to be as responsive and helpful as possible, the security and verification steps required by a third-party registrar's platform are unfortunately outside of our direct control. These measures, while cumbersome, are mandated by them to ensure the undisputed legal ownership and security of your new digital asset.

We are, however, glad that despite the complex interface, the domain aabmc.com was ultimately transferred successfully and is now under your full control.

Your feedback is valuable, as it highlights that we need to do an even better job of preparing our clients for the specific complexities of a registrar's security protocol. We will use your review to improve our communication on this.

We wish you all the best with your new domain.

Best regards,
The Domain Lions Team

Fast responses by the Domain Lions…

Fast responses by the Domain Lions team.. but just a lottt of different account set ups and multiple different verifications and security check points. Not a pay and done situation.

Hi Danielle,

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us our very first review on Trustpilot! We genuinely appreciate it.

We're thrilled that you found our team's responses to be fast. That is something we pride ourselves on.

We also want to thank you for your honest feedback regarding the transfer process. You are absolutely right – it is not a simple “pay and done” situation, and we can see how that could be frustrating.

The extra verification and security steps you encountered are actually required by the domain registrar (the accredited company where the domain is held). These measures, while a bit cumbersome, are designed for one very important reason: to protect you. They ensure that you, and only you, receive full, undisputed legal ownership and control of your new digital asset.

Your feedback is incredibly valuable because it has highlighted that we need to do a better job of explaining this security process before the purchase. We will be updating our communication based directly on your review.

Thank you again for your business and for helping us improve.

Best regards,

The Domain Lions Team
