They forgot about my order
Unfortunately had an incredibly poor experience shopping with Domenica Marland.
I placed an order for a ceramic item with a creation lead time of 4-6 weeks. Since placing the order I hadn’t received any updates so on the day before the six weeks was up I enquired about an update and when to expect delivery. They replied saying “sorry the artist missed the order” and that it would be another 3 weeks at least until I could receive the item. I have to question the internal processes of a company that allows something like this to happen. Do they even keep track of their orders at all? No compensation was offered at this point, only a discount code for a future order, nothing to rectify the current order. I asked for the delivery fee to be waived as a gesture of goodwill (£9) and they declined.
It’s frustrating as I love so many of the artists on the Domenica Marland platform. Operationally, things are not good enough.
