Unsolicited and Deceptive Lead Form Submissions + Concerning Business Practices

We have repeatedly received unsolicited submissions from this company through our website’s business inquiry form. These submissions come in under different names, different email addresses, and different supposed companies, but the pattern and the content are always the same – a disguised pitch for their SEO services presented as if they were a legitimate prospective client.

Our form is designed expressly for prospective customers, and submitting commercial solicitations through it causes our internal sales processes to activate. Every submission triggers staff outreach, follow-up attempts, email sequences, and manual review. This results in wasted labor hours, unnecessary operating costs, and prevents time-sensitive inquiries from receiving prompt attention.

The behavior raises serious legal concerns. Web-form submissions that route to email systems are generally treated as electronic solicitations, and the use of rotating identities, concealed commercial intent, and repeated contact aligns with patterns commonly associated with CAN-SPAM Act violations. If the submissions are automated or scripted, the conduct may also fall within the scope of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, since automating access to a form designed for customer use can be considered exceeding authorized access.

The sender appears to be based in North Carolina, and that state’s Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices Act prohibits misrepresenting the purpose of a transaction, creating confusion about the nature of a commercial interaction, and causing financial loss to another business through deceptive means. The repeated entry into our sales funnel under false pretenses is consistent with these definitions.

There is a clear, ongoing systematic pattern and commercial intent here. These submissions are not accidental, and they are not legitimate sales outreach and their actions cause measurable operational harm. They induce our team to treat them as real customer leads, which triggers processes the sender knows will consume time and resources. In our experience, this reflects a consistent pattern of deceptive, unwanted, and resource-consuming conduct. If you operate a business with a web-inquiry form, be aware that your team may waste valuable time engaging with submissions that appear legitimate but are simply hidden advertisements routed through improper channels.

DominatingKeywords is a mass spammer

DominatingKeywords routinely spams all of my websites and client's web contact forms with the same automated message. If they cannot respect basic anti-spam laws or professional boundaries, there’s no reason to believe they would treat clients ethically. Any company that relies on unsolicited mass messages to sell SEO services is already showing you the quality of their work.

Works as expected

We have been monitoring this so far for 30 days with one keyword and our traffic grew 30% from what we had before. We are pleasantly surprised and just ordered 2 more keywords. Pleasure to do business with them. And yes, it's not SEO.

No SEO, just spam and false promises

My last review got pulled by Dominating Keywords as they claimed I was "bullying" them.

So I will try to be as nice as possible in this review.

Dominating Keywords claims to be masters of SEO, when the fact remains they can't do SEO on their own website, so they use other business websites contact forms to bot spam them, this is their business model.

But let's see what Semrush has to say about their website;
SEO Audit Results for dominatingkeywords.com
The SEO score for this website is 37 out of 100

This company is 100% in the search marketing industry, even if they are trying to create a new category for their service.

Their claim of "not doing SEO" is highly misleading. They are just selling a different, more aggressive method to achieve the same goal as SEO.

Here’s the evidence from their site:

The Name Itself: The URL is dominatingkeywords.com. The entire concept of "dominating keywords" is the literal goal of SEO and PPC.

Their Own Headline: The site's main headline is "Dominate Your Competition in Organic Search Results." This is the exact definition of what SEO aims to do.

Their "What We Do": They explicitly state their service is "Online Advertising | Search Engine Marketing" and "effective keyword advertising."

Use of Industry Terms: They directly mention that their service "complement[s] any PPC" campaign.

What They Are Actually Selling
They are not selling traditional SEO (improving your site's content and links) or traditional PPC (paying Google for an ad).

Instead, they seem to be selling a form of adware or ad-injection.

Their site says they have an "advertising platform... on millions of computers" and that if you buy a keyword, you get "exclusive control" that displays a "1200x300 display ad... every time your exact match keyword was used in a search query."

This implies their platform intercepts a user's search on Google and other engines and forces your ad to appear, bypassing Google's own ad system. This is a very controversial practice that is directly competitive with, and adjacent to, the SEO/PPC world.

We clearly state that we don't do SEO! Where on our website or our marketing campaign we said that we do SEO. We are directly saying that we are not offering SEO and PPC!

Bought 12 month subscription for 2 keywords. They included plurals, so I got 4 keywords in total for 12 months. They made banner from my website and started campaign within 12 hours. Started getting traffic with 15% bounce rate and average time on site close to 3 minutes. So far so good...

The gentleman I spoke with was Gary Charles and although he was very nice I couldn't believe the price for their services. $8,900.00 for one year contract for 3 keywords. Completely overpriced in my opinion.

Joseph, we are very sorry to hear that our service did not fit in your budget, but our pricing is very competitive if you take in account what you are getting in return. one year contract for 1 keyword means that you will be getting traffic from that keyword during 365 days. If keyword that you choose gets at least 100 clicks per day then it's approximately 8 cents per click. Most keywords get more than 100 clicks per day, so cost per click is even lower.
