Massively Disappointed with the Customer Service Operation...

The product was perfect. However as I had already ordered two door closures and wanted a Yale door lock as well, I searched on your site with 'Yale Door Lock' and only lock facia's came up, brass, chrome or shiny brass! So I went ahead with the purchase of the two door returns.
I then googled 'Yale Door Lock' and low and behold 'Doorsolutionsdirect' came up with a Yale Door Lock unit. Your own search button does not respond to this request other than the product I have mentioned.
I then phoned Customer Services to pay for this unit over the phone. Your Representative then said 'if you pay for the Yale Door Lock with £5.95 postage I will organise the refund and credit your account with the £5.95'. (Had I ordered the two door returns and the Yale Lock together it would only have cost £5.95 in total for Post and Packing). I had phoned approximately 15-20 minutes after placing the order for the 2 X Door Returns!
My suspicions were aroused when two separate packaged arrived at the same time. And guess what - I got no £5.95 Credit to my Account!
I followed through with two emails to Doorsolutionsdirect and several days later they have not even had the decency to reply to my emails. Terrible customer service - if I ran my bar and restaurant business with the same attitude I would have ceased to operate a long time ago! Massively disappointed to say the least!

I would advise to avoid this company unless you can wait years for your order or refund

Placed an order early Monday morning after ringing to enquire if taking advantage of free delivery would delay shipping. The order was needed urgently. Was promised that the order would be shipped immediately. Payment was made with that understanding.
Whilst confirmation of payment was received, there was no subsequent email confirming the order or dispatch.
Rang on the Thursday and was told by a lady that they were waiting for part of my order to come in stock, hence the delay in dispatching my order. However, she was sure it had arrived Wednesday evening. Promised to call me back 10minutes later.
No phone call.
Rang Friday and spoke to Tom, who said the lock I had ordered was not in stock, (this is different to the part of the order that I was told had bern expected on Wednesday) but they would order the lock in and dispatch the rest of the order. As this (short version of the conversation) was different to what I was told last time I called. I was concerned and I said I could not wait till Monday for part of the delivery and hope the rest arrived to be sent out for Tuesday. I explained that I had rung before placing the order to enquire about the wait time for delivery as the job was urgent. So after some discussion, Tom agreed to cancel the order, but said that Marie was the only person who could deal with the refund and that she was not in work on Friday. I was promised the refund would be dealt with first thing Monday.
By Wednesday, still no refund. Still no email indicating that a refund was in progress.
I spoke to Marie who knew about my calls and told me it was a different part (to what Tom said) of my order that had caused the delay.
When I told her what Tom had said, she said I would have the refund in my account within 2 hours. Five hours later, after closing for the banks, I rang again and Marie said that the department who dealt with refunds would deal with my refund first thing the following day.
I told herTom had said the same thing about her processing the refund last week - that he had said she was the only person who could deal with the refund, but now Marie was talking about “ a department” who needed to manage the process.
She then said it would have been in my account if the money had been transferred from bank X to bank X. I then told her that was the case, it was the same bank, bank X, that we both had accounts with.
Finally, after further calls and emails. Marie decided she could process the refund after all. No “department’ was needed after all!
No, I’m sorry, I do not recommend anyone to do business with this company as you cannot believe anything they say to you.

Awful service

Awful service. 2.5 weeks after placing an order tried to chase for a delivery only to find out that they're out of stock. Asked for cancellation and full refund which they said they would do and then stopped responding to my emails. Chased them for refund for another week on a daily basis with no response from their end. Only processed the full refund when I threatened them to take legal actions in my final email.
Avoid at all costs!
