AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
As a premium customer I was promised the world: 1) guaranteed advertisement until I sold my flat 2) premium customers would have unlimited escorted visits 3) I would have 'special' treatment, and the lies continue.

After 1 year they took my flat off the market, they stopped my escorted agent visits and ignored my email when i wanted a refund for the upfront solicitor conveyancing costs I had paid.

Each time I call, the relevant people are always on a break no matter what time of day!

If you have time and patience for appalling customer service - sign right up!

Never advertise with doorsteps!!! This company is cheating and lying. When I signed £499 package with them, they promised there’s no time limits until sold on all the main websites (rightmove, Zoopla, primelocation etc.) But after the payment, they only list three months on right move and two months on Zoopla ( which they said have issues with), then they took off my property and me to pay again.

They are day robbers!!! I will report to property ombudsman and trading standards for this issues. And go to court for the justices.

Do avoid this company!!! Otherwise you will buy endless troubles for yourself like me.

Very pleasent conversation the agent knew his properties on the market in different locations and answered all my questions giving me a lot of information to help me decide if i was interested to view the property

This company is a JOKE and a SCAM. To be avoided at all costs. I BELIEVE THIS WHOLE OPERATION IS BEING RUN BY A GUY IN HIS BEDROOM !!!!
We paid them then when we tried to make the advert live or upload photos or really anything they said we could do nothing worked, after calling and calling we eventually got an idiot called Ammar or Ashkay or something like that that told us that our account had expired and they wanted a futher £500-£700 before they would do anything... They will fob you off by telling you to send an e mail with the complaint. No e mails have ever been answered !! This "company" and I use that word loosly is a total SCAM. I wish I had donated the money to charity instead of giving it to this bunch of RIP OFF MERCHANTS.... AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID
PLEASE ALSO BE AWARE THAT ALL THE POSITIVE REVEWS ARE FROM PEOPLE THAT HAVE ONLY LEFT ONE REVIEW.. Probably Ammar !!!!
We will be taking this further and have already sent a complaint to the Ombudsman but please dont give these CHEATS your cash

Do yourself a favour and spend a little bit more money elsewhere! Doorsteps are awful. There are too many things to list, but the worst two are: they gave my phone number to a prospective buyer without my permission and they still have a set of my flat keys and are ignoring my emails and texts requesting these to be returned (and good luck getting through on the phone!).

Very well spoken much more helpful than the two lays I spoke to prior to talking to AMMAR.

Please do not trust this company. I paid them to arrange conveyancing services. After recently getting in touch with the conveyancer (PCS legal) having found a property I was advised that they were never paid by Doorsteps and the relationship between the two companies is in disrepair due to Doorsteps keeping money. It took a while but I finally got Lorida Berisha (deals with formal complaints) to agree to a refund. I was told it would take 14 working days to appear in my account. This was a month ago now. Since then it has been impossible to contact with no update or email responses. I am currently in the process of going through the property ombudsman.

Ammar was very polite and helpful on the phone. He explained the packages clearly and answered all my questions in a friendly manner.

Avoid like the plague. Their pricing plans are misleading. The service is shocking. I managed to sell despite them instead of because of them. If a call goes well, the person handling your call asks for a review of their service during the call which is the only reason why the overall site rating is high.

Ammar was very helpful in explaining the booking viewing process to me. He also spelled my name correctly which most people get wrong over the phone!

I paid an upfront fee for one years’ marketing. After only nine months Doorsteps notified me that my property would be withdrawn from sale and offered no compensation. I have now made five attempts, yes five, to receive a refund for the three months for which I have been charged. On each occasion I was told that someone would contact me to arrange a refund. Of course, no one bothered. Previous to this it took repeated attempts to implement a price reduction, and a request for information regarding a prospective purchaser was ignored. The general standard of customer service is appalling.

If you are unable to engage a respectable high street agent, you can now market your home without any charge, simply do a search. Doorsteps will take your money and do little else. When selling what is probably your biggest asset, you deserve considerably better.
