Scam
I had pre-ordered the monitor in 2022, then cancelled the order in early 2023 and have been waiting for the manufacturer’s refund since March 2023. They do not reply to messages and emails.
So do not buy from this manufacturer under any circumstances1
Avoid like the plague
What sort of criminals do you have to be to send me marketing emails that you're now selling the monitor you promised me YEARS ago on Amazon?
Strong caution is advised. So many promises unfulfilled, so much sketchy censoring on the their subreddit. See Sean Hollisters review on the Verge for more context.
Don't support these frauds by buying their products at big name brands.
Don't order. You won't get your product for years.
Their screens are amazing quality, but I've been waiting for a few years for other products to be fulfilled, and I've still not received them.
They tell you to contact their support, but that's automated and will say the same thing over and over.
I'll happily change my review when they actually ship, until then I'll be vocal about their inability to follow through on promises.
It's been one and a half years I've…
It's been one and a half years I've been waiting for a full refund for a laptop I ordered. They initially responded to my emails saying that they will process it but since Jun 23 they stopped responding :) They never provided an open explanation of why the refund was taking so long or when they may be able to process it. I would not trust this company and the individuals involved in it. For awareness, it used to be called Eve, and now they re-branded themselves as Dough. Guys, if you have been open with me about your reasoning for not refunding me, I would have a very different attitude towards being your customer in the future...
Horrible company
Horrible company. Fulfilment of time lines, orders and promises is zero over and over again. Its unbelievable that they do this over and over again. I have been waiting and waiting and decided to get cancel order and get my refund. Now Im waiting and waiting again and no refund in sight. They own me 819 euro. Avoid them even if you are tempted by their products! They will steal your money and days of your life.
Delayed Responses and Prolonged Refund Process: A Cautionary Tale
Customer care response time needs improvement, as I experienced delays of several months. Caution with pre-orders, as cancellations may result in extended refund processing, taking up to a year to reflect on your statement. The company's reputation has suffered, and some customers, myself included, are still awaiting refunds. It seems a name change hasn't altered the company's underlying philosophy.
Questionable product that you will not receive
In 2022, I've decided I need a new screen. I settled on buying from Dough (previously Eve) in February 2022. The dispatch date said next month, the price was appetizing, and I was really hyped for the monitor. The YouTube reviews were close to excellent at the time, with most people praising colour performance as well as feature set. As a person who uses same workplace for MacBook and for the whole Windows PC, the feature set was really compelling. So I bought one. And never received it.
In fact, I tried to be passionate. Knowing they did employ CS team from Ukraine, I was willing to give some time to sort things out. Unfortunately for me, it was a problem after a problem. War, covid, supply chain issues, shortages, Chinese holidays, new lockdowns. Yeah, and no will to do the refund.
I found the monitor on eBay. I bought one, and got it in a few days. I was hyped. The monitor was indeed great for my use case, and I'm still using it to this day. Yet, it's only a half backed product. You have to update your monitor, and the update process is hit or miss. After some updates, I had bad performance (like bad sound, or missing features), so I had to refresh it. The monitor goes off when switching to HDR, making playing from my PS5 a nightmare. The OSD is bad. I can't even reliably switch inputs when waking it up from sleep. Sometimes, I have to power cycle it so USB-C connection works.
After all, I sorted my refund by making a charge back. I got the monitor from a third party and cheaper. The product is not production ready, but the colour performance is great, as well as some features. But, given there are some monitor with similar features at a cheaper price tag, I would say avoid Eve/Dough projects unless you are willing to spare money or convenience of having a finished product.
*WARNING* DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
Absolutely dreadful company. Never fulfilled my order after 2 years despite constant robotic promises from their so-called customer service team. So had to go to my bank to sort the refund (UK customers I highly advise you do this if you are in the same boat).
Would give -17 stars if I could. I really hope their employees enjoy their redundancies when the company inevitable falls flat on its backside.
Total Scam
Total Scam
I ordered the screen, it worked only a few weeks, then got problems, I passed so much time (6 months) trying to get a reparation.
When I got it, meaning that I sent back the screen with my own energy and money, they send it in the exact same package (I think that they didn't even touched it) and I had the same problem and the screen is unusable (700 bucks flushed in the toilet)

They are a scam, nothing more. They will take your money, and give you nothing back. buy literally ANYWHERE else.
Complete scam
I never received the item. Finally, I asked them for a refund. They sent me a confirmation email and said I should receive a refund within 20 days. That was two months ago. They stopped responding to my emails.
NEVER ORDER FROM THIS SITE
NEVER ORDER FROM THIS SITE. IT'S A SCAM. I'VE BEEN WAITING A YEAR FOR MY MONEY BACK.
I had hopes, but this company cannot be bothered to care about its negative reputation.
TL;DR version -- Dough failed to deliver a refund they promised on a timeline they gave. They are now refusing to respond to my follow-ups. I'm now over $1,000 USD in the hole with no product to show for it, and I have only myself to blame for this. I'm only giving Dough two stars because they actually fulfilled my first order with them, which I was pleasantly surprised with despite the frustrating experience surrounding its fulfillment. I still do not recommend that you do business with Dough.
Read below for the whole story.
I'll start by saying that, unlike some other reviewers here, I'm actually lucky to have received a product from them -- the ES07D03, AKA the original Eve Spectrum 4K/144Hz 27" monitor. I was annoyed as other customers were when that monitor was delayed countless times, but when it was finally delivered and appeared to work as advertised, and they provided post-release support with firmware updates to make worthwhile improvements (which they still do, to their credit), I eventually walked away happy. It made me think that maybe this company was on the path to redeeming themselves. Unfortunately, I was very wrong.
My opinion of Dough, formerly Eve Devices, took a nosedive after my attempt to refund a second order for another monitor. The second monitor I tried to purchase was the ES07D02, or the 1440p/280Hz 27" matte monitor, which is now released. Before it was released, I upgraded my purchase to their yet-to-be-released glossy variant, the ES07DCA. This upgrade was done back in March of 2022. In total, this purchase cost me well north of $1,000 USD.
Fast forward to August of 2023, Dough is now several months overdue from launching this monitor and has hardly mentioned anything about the progress of its development. At this point, I was tired of waiting because other companies were beating Dough to delivering monitors that promised similar specs, if not better.
When I got word from The Verge that Dough was ready to issue refunds and "be glad to get [their] negative brand perception out of the way," I opted to request a refund. This is important to mention, because if you read other reviews of Dough on Trustpilot or anywhere else, the most common complaint you'll read about is missing refunds.
A chargeback wasn't an option at this point because I was way beyond the 120-day window for that. So, I reached out to Dough to initiate a refund request and provided the required information. I was promised a refund no later than around mid September of 2023. Needless to say, that didn't happen.
I made attempts to follow up with Dough to seek some transparency as to why this was taking longer than expected. Unsurprisingly, I was given a non-answer and was told that they were committed to issuing that refund. Fast forward again to December 2023, at which point I'm writing this review, and I still haven't received my refund. Numerous attempts to contact Dough since they last responded have been met with silence.
Despite this messy experience, I don't know if calling this a "scam" is the right word, because for what it's worth, Dough is delivering products. However, their development timeline is a mess, their communication lacks transparency, and their customer support surrounding refunds is abysmal.
Adding insult to injury, I get newsletter updates all the time about new products they're working on. I don't know how this company continues to find ways to fund development of new products while shirking their responsibility to provide refunds they promised to their customers, including me, all without facing legal ramifications.
The lesson to learn from all of this? Don't pre-order/fund development of monitors, especially with a company that has a long established negative reputation that is well deserved. I didn't want to write this review and have been unreasonably patient with Dough, but I've had enough.
Purchased in 2021 - Never received - Money lost
Monitor purchased in 2021 and never received.
Funny thing is that they keep sending me "limited offers" with special discount codes.
Still trying to get hold of their customer support without any success.
Never received what I ordered
Never received what I ordered. Like others, never received answers to my questions and my money back. Is 5 years I'm waiting. They change the name of the company in order to avoid legal problems. Everything started 5 with EVE. Differente name, same scammers!
DO NOT BUY FROM DOUGH
Order place 500 days ago and not fulfilled, nor have I been provided any update. This was not a pre-purchase of a pre-production device, I expected to receive this promptly. Never experienced a worse product purchasing experience in my life.

Absolutely agree
Absolutely agree, stay away from this company at all costs. I had an initial order (Order #957596260USAB), similar to many people on this thread, that was never fulfilled. I asked for my money back, company’s response was to go radio silent. Again, DO NOT BUY from this company. Buyer beware!!!
