Booking site was extremely easy to use, information was easy to find and understand. The information provided suggestions that had not occurred to me, so I found it quite informative for novice international travellers. Great prices and lots of options. Specials vary frequently and I am extremely pleased with the pick up location near the train station rather than the airport.

The name stated on the card should be full first name and full last name.
So just the A. Jansen if your name is Anny Jansen would not be sufficient.
This is a big scam.
Don't use this company. Just rent a car at the airport!

In the UK, the terms credit card and debit card are frequently used interhchangeably. This car hire company (I think deliberately) refuses debit cards. I don't have credit cards and because that couldn't give them 'bank confirmation' (yes, really, they can't get confirmation from a bank debit card.....[sarcastic voice]), my charge went from Euro130 to Euro520 in one fell swoop. Yes that's right - E 520. With no other options available, you have no choice but to accept. I have not taken the car back yet but I am 100% sure they will find a reason to keep my Euro250 deposit and probably charge me for some non-existent damage.

I've usesd DoYouItaly before. Never had any problems.
I want to collect at the actual airport, which is not often clear when one first looks, as it says airport, when it is actually away from the airport and one is conveyed to and from the car hire location. Since I have an early drop off of 08.00 / early departure flight of 10.25, I want to be at the airport early. I had to search in the filters to find AIRPORT pickup/dropoff. It is good value for money. I use a UK company 'Questor' for annual Excess Insurance cover (about £55.) to avoid the high super casco insurance cover.

I rented a car from this company between June 20th and 30th. When I rented the car, I also purchased the best and most expensive insurance. However, when I picked up the car at Cagliari airport, I discovered that none of the insurance I had purchased was valid. I rented the car from Italy Car Rent They constantly deceive people and charge extra money. I am complaining about them.

Surprice is the worst rental company i ever used. Bad cars, dirty and a lot of malfunctioning. And it’s not only me.
They are cheating systematically the customers

In our experience, this company is completely dishonest. Even if you cancel your reservation, they refuse to refund your money. They keep sending you from one person to another until you eventually give up. Do not book a rental car through them. Thank you for your reply, but I disagree. The credit card requirement was not clearly displayed before payment. If such an important condition had been clearly highlighted, I would never have completed the booking. Keeping my €569 without providing the service is unfair. I still expect a full refund.

I was making a car reservation on my computer and had several providers web pages open to compare prices. Two of them were DoYouItaly and DoYouSpain. The price for the car I was choosing was the same on both web sites/pages. I made my reservation on DoYouItaly and closed the webpage. The webpage for DoYouSpain was still open. I overlooked that I'd made my reservation on DoYouItaly, and made a second reservation, exactly the same, for the same car, same dates, same price on DoYouSpain. So I have 2 charges on my credit card for £205.96. I understand that both reservations stated that no changes or refundable cancellations were allowed. I only need one of the reservations, and am requesting one of the charges to be refunded. I am sincerely hoping you can understand my situation, and agree to a refund.

My experience was very good. The only thing is that I couldn't find where to add an additional driver and couldn't find a contact email or chat

Shocking experience. Unauthorised money taken from my credit card and no response to my numerous emails. No easy way to call them. Please don’t use them or ECH who were the car hire company they sell for.
Can someone please respond to my emails. I am not calling Italy

I cannot recommend booking through DoYouItaly.
My rental was fully prepaid (€310.38), but when I arrived to collect the vehicle, it was refused and I never received the service I had paid for.
I asked if my wife's credit card, with her present at the counter, could be used for the security deposit. This was refused without any attempt to find a reasonable solution.
I have been requesting a refund ever since and the matter is currently being reviewed through Mastercard's chargeback process.
Travelers should carefully read all rental conditions and be aware that, if the rental is refused, obtaining a refund may become a lengthy process.
