Took payment but never sent the item

Made payment for a pre-order Star wars figure in July 2020. Still haven't received it (it's now March 2021). When I (politely) queried the status of the order, they blocked me from Facebook. I have tried contacting them via their twitter and Instagram accounts but have not had any kind of response. I wouldn't recommend buying from this store as it seems to happen a lot where DragonStore UK takes payment from an individual but doesn't send the item & they don't seem to respond to emails.

In terms of getting your money back, you can request a chargeback from your card company.

You can also submit a complaint to Hampshire County Council Trading Standards - they have a webform you can use to explain the situation. What you will need is a receipt (an online receipt can be forwarded seperately) and the product details.

Whilst this won't guarantee a refund or your money back - if enough people raise the issue, then trading standards are more likely to take action.

Hope that helps.

Avoid…

Still waiting for a product ordered in July 2020, been told that I would get it, it was out of stock and they were awaiting resupply. Now marked as in stock on the web site. No contact off them, no updates, no information. It is either a con or the have no customer service.

Laughable to be honest

Laughable to be honest. Ordered a Christmas gift and its now 26.02.2021 and guess what? Yes, you guessed right, I have not received the order. I chased a few times and this was the response:

'We are currently waiting for this to be shipped to us'

Surely, if this was the case, why would a company say it is in stock?

So I chased a few days later and I got nothing. No contact number, no response from the company and no offer of a refund. I would wait patiently if I actually got communication from Dragonstore giving me updates, advising on the situation or even offering alternative options....you know, like good companies do. I understand that we have been hit with the Pandemic but you should never take the p*&^ out of paying customers.

I just hope that they have the decency to actually refund people who they have technically stole from.

Good Luck for the future because you're gonna need it.

Do not buy from this company

Ordered gifts for Xmas early December and paid immediately. My order has still not been received (January); the company does not respond and I fear I am yet another person ripped off by this company. Phone number doesn’t work and they don’t answer emails. I am going to report to Trading Standards and flag them up on any eBay or Amazon platforms. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. Paid £59.99 for a gift for my Mum for Xmas. The money was taken promptly and after several days the item still hadn’t arrived. I tried phoning them (the number on their website and their Facebook) and it said the number is no longer in use. I tried emailing them. No reply. I also tried messaging them on Facebook which was read soon after but not replied to. At this point, I looked on their Facebook and saw other people were in the same boat. Money taken and no goods. One lady said she had messaged them on Facebook and they had blocked her so I went back to my message from a few days before and lo and behold, I too was blocked. The owner, Gavin Haywood, also blocked my wife when she asked him for a refund. Avoid at all costs.

Dragonstore and a con... AVOIDE!

I placed an order with dragonstore.
They did not state that the product was out of stock.

After a week of no dispatch details I contacted them through their facebook chat to inquire as to my purchase. The did reply.. stating they were just waiting for it to ship.

However, another week has passed, and no shipment. I have tried to contact them again via chat, phone and email, no reply this time and they have disconnected their chat and phone.

I looked deeper into this and found that a number of customers are experiencing the same... Dragonstore UK are a con. Do not give them your money they will steal it from you.

I have raised this as a dispute and I'm lucky that I only sent £30. I feel sorry for the people that have lost £100s.

They claim to be a family business, Yet are ripping family's off at Christmas.
