To begin with, the initial communication was immediate and professional. Once the operation was scheduled, I was assigned a personal rep, who was there for me any time of the day with any questions, from arranging travel to checking into the hotel and picking me up as early as 6 AM with a chauffeur service to take me to the hospital.
The hospital was, like before, brand new and clean, and the room was fully equipped and sterile. The Doctor was informative and I went through all possible checks before he signed off on the operation.
Operation went smoothly and then I went on to recovery. Any question I had, day and night, I got an answer right away. The staff was there for me the whole time. Even if you come alone, you will be all right.
The only small issue I had was the language barrier with the nurse staff, but we powered through by using a translation app. The healing went well, I even managed to drive myself home 900 km in one day, 6 days after the operation.
Since I got back, the nutricitionist assigned to me was there all the time with advice (as well as the doctor), and instructions. Even on weekends. Big help.
Anyway, two months on, 33kg down, I feel great and look forward to losing more and becoming healthy again.
No joke, this is my second operation with Dr Aydogan and I will probably have another one when I come back to get rid of the excess skin.
I would recommend you do your research before choosing your doctor since this operation is no small thing, but I can wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Aydogan and his staff if you want a smooth journey and be happy with the end result.

All our questions were answered thoroughly and informatively. We are truly grateful for everything. The clinic staff was also very helpful and friendly; they were always there for us. Everything went exactly as it was explained to us at the beginning and as we had discussed.

I came across Dr. Ceyhun Aydogan’s Facebook page and immediately had a good feeling about it. A limousine picked us up right at the airport and took us straight to the clinic. There, my partner and I—as my caregiver—were given a very warm welcome.

Throughout my stay, I felt perfectly cared for, both in terms of my health and emotionally. The care remained intensive even after the surgery.

I have returned back to Turkey after having a gastric sleeve in July 2024. I am currently five days post surgery from Breast uplift with implant and tummy tuck. Both by Dr Ceyhun and his team, I could not thank and recommend them enough. I booked my second trip a few months ago with Lisa (Medical/Patient support) has answered all of my questions and queries before arriving, giving me step by step updates of the process. Lisa met me at the hospital on day one and updated me on what to expect from the day, I travelled alone and cannot thank Lisa enough, she went over and above helping me in the hospital get dressed and pack for the hotel and put my mind at rest with every query. The hospital staff were amazing and English was really good. My surgeon Baris Cin was amazing, really took the time before my operation to listen to exactly what I would like and at the same time guiding me on his opinion. Nothing was rushed and him and his nurse really put my mind at rest. The following day Lisa organised for Dr Ceyhun and his lovely nurse wife to come to my hotel to change my dressings. Their video called the surgeon also to show him under my tapes also. The following day I was collected and taken to the hospital to see the surgeon and his nurse again to change dressings and update me about the aftercare and advised me how to contact him with any queries. The following day Lisa and the nurse came to my hotel to help me shower and change my dressings again and Lisa updated me on my transfer back home. I cannot thank the whole team enough, travelling to Turkey alone felt like a big step for me but I feel like the service I received was the best ever and I would recommend to anyone. A massive thank you again to Lisa, you are a lovely person with such a lovely kind heart and I will never forget all your support and help ♥️♥️

Dr. Ceyhun and his team were all super lovely throughout the process, from arrival, to surgery and recovery, and to departure. When I raised a concern specific to my medical history, they dilligently addressed it, took extra precautions, and made me feel like I was in safe hands. Their pre-opp assessments are super thorough, the op itself went well, and post opp care has been fantastic. Michael, Lisa and Begum the dietician, each deserve special mention. All the nurses too, were friendly and kind, despite the language barrier.

The team communicates excellent English and keeps every step very clear and honest — no confusion, no false promises, just genuine care. A big shout-out to Michael (Team Manager) for coordinating everything smoothly, Lily (Senior Medical Consultant) for her personal touch and constant support, and all the nurses and caregivers who went above and beyond.
From taxi pickups, hotel drop-offs, VIP service, to aftercare — everything was perfectly organized. The dietitian, Begum, is extremely knowledgeable. Her diet plans, fresh soups, fresh juices, and aftercare guidance were amazing. I honestly wish they could courier the protein supplements because they were that good!
I came all the way from New Zealand with my friend for her surgery and stayed to support her. Lily was so kind — she even gave a gentle back massage when my friend was in pain. That level of care truly touched my heart.
Dr. Ceyhun is not just a brilliant surgeon, he is like a father figure — warm, caring, and reassuring, with such a calm and comforting presence. You feel safe and looked after, like family.
We are already back at the hotel and still talking about how wonderful this team is. They are honest, hardworking, and truly the best in Istanbul.

Hi, I have just returned from Turkey after having a gastric sleeve performed by Dr Ceyhun Aydogan. There are no words to describe this experience. From the moment my friend and I walked off the plane until we were taken back to the airport it was amazing. Picked up in a luxury vehicle and taken to a beautiful hotel. Picked up the next day and both taken to the hospital where after we were settled in we got to meet the team.Dr Ceyhun and Lily came in to explain what would be happening Michael who translated everything for us was brilliant. He explained everything and accompanied me to all my tests. There was no hanging about, everything was like clockwork. I was taken down for my operation and was back in my room 90 mins later. Never felt pain at all. I was constantly checked on and looked after. I did have a slight complication with my blood result but instead of just putting me back to the hotel they kept me for another day. During the time in hospital the whole team came to visit. Carla the dietitian has been amazing clearly explaining my diet going forward. We then met Haki, what a character, he normally works with Spanish patients but he took me for one of my tests, kept calling us his Bonnie lassies!!! Made us laugh. All of the staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. After being taken back to the hotel Hakan came to give me the antibiotics and check my dressing. He was such a caring person. He showed us a picture of himself 1 year ago before he had his surgery from Dr Ceyhun, we had no idea he had the surgery and honestly we were shocked. He had lost around 80kg . It was so nice of him to share his experience. Now im home im still in contact with Michael and Carla and they have been amazing. If anyone is thinking about this surgery please believe me when I say you will never get better than this team.

The whole process was very easy, the information completely clear and easy to follow, the staff very professional and comprehensive. The transportation on time, the clinic process was comfortable and reassuring, making all examination and procedures easy to understand and follow, 24h follow up in the whole stay. The hotel also very comfortable and very well communicated, and last but not least, the recovery was so quick that we enjoy 3 full days of turism.

I was referred to this hospital by my cousin, and my experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was met with exceptional care and professionalism. The nursing staff were attentive and compassionate, and the physician I saw was not only knowledgeable but also truly took the time to listen and explain everything clearly.

I would especially like to recognize Michael, the head of the department, for his leadership and dedication, as well as Karla, the dietician, whose guidance and support made a significant difference in my care and Hakan for his support from start to finish. Throughout my entire stay, I felt respected, supported, and genuinely cared for—regardless of how I was feeling or what I was going through.

Dr ceyhun seriously changed my life. Everything from my pickup at the airport, the nurses, exams, translators, nutritionists were impeccable. I never once felt uncomfortable or unsupported. I’ve done my surgery on April. I must say the surgeon the nurse the reception everyone is so kind and understanding to me even the simplest thing. I can always call the nurses the practitioner the dietician and ask question that always there to answer my questions and make me feel happy at the end of the conversation.
