Outstanding Teaching Undermined by Completely Unacceptable Customer Support

I have taken more than one course with Dr Gurang because I genuinely believe he is an outstanding homeopath and an excellent educator.

His knowledge of homeopathy is exceptional, and he has a rare ability to explain complex ideas in a clear, logical and engaging way. He speaks at an excellent pace, presents information in a structured manner, and makes even difficult concepts easy to understand and apply in practice. I have always enjoyed listening to his lectures and have learnt a great deal from them. From an educational perspective, I have nothing but praise for Dr Gurang.

Sadly, the administration and customer support surrounding the Academy have been one of the most disappointing experiences I have encountered with any educational provider.

Ironically, before I purchased the course, the communication was outstanding. Every enquiry I made was answered quickly, professionally and usually within 24 hours. It gave me confidence that I was dealing with an organisation that genuinely cared about its students.

However, the moment payment had been made, that excellent communication disappeared.

Videos are missing from the Academy website regarding the course, preventing me from completing the course that I paid for. What should have been a simple issue to resolve has now dragged on for well over a month.

During that time I have repeatedly tried to make contact.

I emailed the Academy.

I emailed Dr Gurang directly using the email address he provides during the course, where he actively encourages students to contact him with any questions.

I sent messages through the Academy website.

I even contacted the clinic via their WhatsApp group, not because I expected clinical advice, but simply in the hope that someone could point me towards the correct person to resolve the missing videos.

The response I received was abrupt and unhelpful, and despite all of these attempts, nobody has taken ownership of the problem or had the courtesy to reply properly.

What disappoints me most is not simply that videos are missing. Technical issues happen.

What is unacceptable is the complete absence of customer service afterwards.

For over a month I have effectively been ignored. My emails have gone unanswered. My messages through the Academy have been ignored. My direct email to Dr Gurang has received no acknowledgement whatsoever. There has been no explanation, no apology, no indication that anyone is even looking into the issue.

As a paying student, I find this deeply disappointing.

Good customer service is not judged by how quickly someone responds before taking your money. It is judged by how they support their students after the purchase has been made, particularly when something has gone wrong. On that measure, the Academy has failed completely.

The greatest disappointment is that this experience has overshadowed what should have been an excellent educational course. I genuinely admire Dr Gurang's knowledge, experience and ability to teach, but those qualities are seriously undermined when students cannot even obtain a response regarding missing course material.

I simply wanted to complete the course that I had paid for. Instead, I have spent weeks chasing replies, being ignored and becoming increasingly frustrated.

It should never be this difficult for a paying student to obtain basic customer support.

Regrettably, because of the way this matter has been handled, the prolonged lack of communication, and the apparent indifference shown towards a paying student, I have completely lost confidence in the Academy. No matter how highly I rate Dr Gurang as a teacher, I could not recommend an organisation that treats its students in this way.

For that reason, despite my respect for Dr Gurang's teaching, I would not purchase another course associated with him in the future.
