A scam company. Totally incompetent

Drivechecks acknowledged my order but never sent through a vehicle report as promised. When it did finally come through it was for the wrong vehicle! Drivechecks is totally incompetent and a scam. They should be prosecuted and closed down

ANOTHER FACEBOOK SCAMMER

I’m so glad (like others) I checked on here first. Trying to sell on Facebook and asked to use this website along with another similar sounding one… no well established business would use a …@gmail.com email either. It wreaks of SCAM!

Scam and CC theft

True, it’s a scam. Luckily someone on Facebook let me know. They collect your credit card info and attempt to run other transactions on your card. Do not use it.

This is a scam on Facebook marketplace

This is a scam on Facebook marketplace. Fortunately I Googled the website once I got a message asking to request the vehicle history on this specific site. Hopefully others can be warned off this scam.

Attempt to scam.

Selling a car on Facebook marketplace (listed elsewhere). Was contacted by a person enquiring about it. Seemed keen. He asked a few questions, price, location etc - to draw me in. Then he tried to lure me to a site called “Drivechecks” and offered me the link. He wanted me to pay for a history check on my car. I countered with the link to my Car Sales ad which provided a full history report of my car. I told the “buyer” I am not providing any other checks. Dude kept arguing that he wanted me to use the “Drivechecks” site. After some back and fourth I said I won’t be communicating any further about this site, I’m not paying for his check. I told him to come and inspect the car if he’s interested or find something else. He said no worries and that was that. I was suspicious as soon as he was so persistent about me paying for a history check at a specific website. He tried to convince me it was my responsibility to which I strongly disagreed. I then did research and saw the reviews here. Tired of these scamming parasites. It’s a shame they are successful in ripping off trusting people.
