Generally I really like this app. I think the scoring seems to be fairly accurate. There is is one major bugbear though and that's it can't distinguish between using your mobile phone if you're a... See more

Very accurate I am still using the app after a year...
While a nice, high number (850-940) in my case helps to reassure a driver that his or her driving is up to standard, does anyone else have misgivings when the app deducts 4 or 5 points every week for slow acceleration? Come on - what does this mean in a 20mph London suburb, when most of the journey is spent a few metres behind the car in front? Also, how many have had a similar number of points deducted for braking? I'm presumably not being penalised for using light pressure on the brake pedal and as I cannot remember the last time I did anything close to a sudden stop, you can understand my hesitation to give this app anything more than an average rating.
It's amazing,I was treated my insurance company unfairly and paid other people's fault ...but I guess now it's will be sorted. Thanks
It's easy to use easy to install and see results
Great little app. Seems to work ok. Makes you think about the way you drive. Got a great score 900+.trying to go for a 100percent.
I had a score for 1 year of 937 and found cheaper quotes on the comparisons sites( sorry it was only nine mths). The app itself is not fully reliable if you use music through the phone it records it as using the phone while driving, the braking side of the app is unfair as it does not know the reasons for any heavy braking and automatically blames the user and reduces your score, I will not be using this app again this year dont be fooled by getting cheaper insurance it does not work the insurers obviously take no account of the app score.I also forgot to mention that answering calls by handsfree also is noted as using your phone while driving.

I’ve used it for a few years and only this year I got the best insurance deal. So I will be using this again in the future.
Tried the app after getting my first speeding ticket in many years to see if it could improve my driving. It gives reasonable information of your driving fuel consumption etc. so I could see it helpful for new drivers and anyone trying to improve their driving, but as for the alleged benefits with insurance it didn’t live up to the hype, despite having an annual drive score of 930, my insurance offers through the app were no different to other insurance search apps, in fact 2 where more expensive. It’s good to check occasionally, but don’t expect insurance benefits.

It give you an overview of your driving behaviour
I've been using DriveScore for several months and find it very encouraging to see that my driving is as good as I thought. It highlights areas for improvement and this helps to keep me on track and more mindful of my on-road activities. Highly recommended.
I don't write reviews often but feel that I should for drivescore as I have used it daily for a year or so now.
I got it last year just after my insurance was through the roof. I anticipated that if I used this for a year my insurance would be cheaper as I am not a bad driver... I have just been a bit unlucky.
Drivescore is good where it tells you which areas you could work on as a driver such as braking, acceleration etc.
Whilst using drivescore it had tracked drives I have done for about 7000 miles. I had a score of 977 out of 1000. This is the time I started looking for renewal quotes and I was a bit disappointed. I was getting the same quotes from other places if not cheaper on other comparison websites.
Drivescore hasn't saved me money as it has promised or seemed hopeful to do. I felt like I had wasted a lot of sharing my data for a whole load of nothing.
There is also limited insurance companies that use drivescore so you are just better off shopping about on other comparison websites rather than sharing your driving habits with the entire nation.

Appreciated the drivescore app but after a week or so of straightforward use it seemed to want to force me to then sign up to a clearscore account and exclude the use of drivescore without the clearscore account.
