AVOID AT ALL COSTS ! SCAM !

My daughter was desperate to get her Provisional License and applied online through this company's website. It was only when DVLA sent a letter requesting payment I realised something had gone wrong. On following up - the company "Caveat Viator" (smart asses here as in Latin means "traveller beware") - had very cleverly designed a website to mimick the DVLA site - and in so doing - ensnaring my daughter and no doubt quite a few others in to parting with £50 for absolutely nothing. How these people sleep at night is a mystery to me !

Scam artists, using adwords to dupe unsuspecting customers

Needed to renew my licence and as I was in a hurry typed DVLA renewal into google went through the process then mentioned it was more expensive than I thought it should be (cost £50.00) was told by friend that it's only £20 from the DVLA.

Looking at the site now, although using the DVLA colours etc it does in tiny writing say it's not part of the DVLA .

Also the rather poor latin name fo the company means traveller beware
