Exceptional Care and Results with Dr. Murat’s Team

After a year of communication with Dina and Dr. Murat’s team, I can confidently say their professionalism and responsiveness were outstanding throughout. Every step of the process was medically well-planned and clearly communicated, which gave me great reassurance.

Upon arrival, my partner and I were smoothly transferred to our hotel and given a rest day to explore and settle in. The following morning, we headed to the hospital for pre-screenings and surgery. Although the 6am start was early, it allowed everything to be completed in one day, which was incredibly efficient.

My breast reduction surgery went very well. The aftercare team was attentive, checking on me throughout the night, and I was discharged the next day to rest comfortably in the hotel. I was more than happy with my results—Dr. Murat truly listened to my concerns and my wishes and his caring approach made all the difference.

I had been researching surgeons for a good year. I came across Dr Murat and checked some reviews and decided to contact his team. My coordinator, Mahmoud got back to me and gave me all the information I'd asked for. There was no pressure whatsoever to book, I appreciated that Mahmoud left me to think about my decision and I then contacted him again. I booked my surgery! Breast uplift with implants. I had the same surgery 8 years ago in the uk and I was never happy with them they were not at all what I was hoping for!!. Anyway... EVERY part of my experience with Dr Murat has been fantastic. He really knows what he's doing I never had a single doubt from the moment I met him, it was like he read my mind. All I'd been thinking he said. My procedure is everything I'd ever wanted, I couldn't be happier. Mahmoud was there for my questions, he gave me every piece of information you could possibly need. I never felt like i was being a pain or inconveniencing him. Everything has been meticulously planned from landing in Istanbul throughout. I got greeted by the very lovely Yagmur on the day of my admission into hospital. She went through everything with me. She has such a calm and relaxed nature you just don't feel anxious. The nurses are just wonderful they really make you feel cared for. It's a different level of care, they always smile and make sure you're okay. (Itan makes you drink gallons of water lol) she reminded me of a nurse like Florence Nightingale just lovely. Miray came to the hotel checked and changed my dressings, helped me shower etc. She's an absolute angel, a really beautiful soul. I just cannot fault any part of my experience, so much so, I am coming back for another surgery next year! Everything ran so smoothly I am comfortable enough to come on my own without a companion next time. If you're wondering wether Dr Murat Polat is the surgeon for you... Yes 100% yes he is. Book the surgery you won't regret it!!

I returned home from Istanbul yesterday after having a breast augmentation with dr.Murat Polat. I reached out to this surgeon after years of thinking about it when my friend had uplift and implants with him and couldn’t recommend him more. One of his coordinators.. Deena, quickly responded to my enquiry and I am so so thankful that it was her that picked it up that day as from that moment nothing has been too much for her. She has replied almost immediately to every question I asked, every concern I had, every flight change I made with so much kindness, patience and professionalism. When I told her I was nervous and I’d be arriving alone for surgery she kept me calm and assured me she would be there for me and she really was! After surgery she was in constant contact and checking in on me, giving me recommendations of where to get food what sights to see when I was feeling up to it and obviously when nurses etc would arrive and how to care for my new boobs. Don’t get me wrong, Dr Polat is amazing, lovely, honest, made me feel so comfortable, and is a fantastic at what he does, I love my new boobs and would not hesitate to recommend him or go back to him again if I had future surgeries. Also all the nurses and everyone who helped care for me at the hospital were so lovely, kind and caring, I couldn’t have been looked after better. But it’s Deena who really took care of me through this entire experience and she absolutely deserves all the credit she can get. Thank You Deena, Dr. Murat and all the staff at Hastanesi.

I recently underwent a breast uplift with implants along with 360 liposuction with Dr. Polat in Istanbul, Turkey, and I can’t express enough how incredible my experience was.

From the very beginning, Dr. Polat stood out with his warm and friendly demeanor, coupled with exceptional skill. My coordinator, Deena, was a true gem, going above and beyond to ensure that the entire process was smooth and comfortable. The support I received from the other coordinators and nurses was equally impressive; they were all incredibly skilled and genuinely caring.

Arriving in Istanbul on a Monday, my operation was scheduled for Tuesday. I was picked up at 6 AM from the hotel for my pre-op observations and blood work. The hospital is a 2 minute drive from the hotel and all transport is included so you have zero stresses. The surgery took place around 1 PM, and when I woke up that evening, I was overwhelmed by the level of care provided by the nurses. Although their English was limited, we communicated effectively using Google Translate when needed, and their warmth and compassion spoke volumes. They went above and beyond, ensuring I felt comfortable and cared for. Your companion stays with you at the hospital in a fold out chair bed and they receive 3 meals a day while they’re with you. The food is simple but so tasty.

The next day, even though my blood work and observations were excellent, I was offered to stay in the hospital for a second night for added peace of mind (no extra charge) or go back to my hotel. I decided to go back to the hotel as I had my husband to look after me. I recommend bringing a laptop to stream Netflix and English TV, as it made downtime much more enjoyable. Each day, a nurse visited me at the hotel to check and clean my scars, assist with showers, and provide massages when needed. Deena was always available, checking in on me throughout my stay.

On my final day after a week of excellent care, we saw Dr. Polat for a final follow up before we flew home. He was pleased with my progress, and so was I! Now that I’m home a few days later, I’m doing great and am thrilled with my results!! I’m still a swollen but can already see a huge difference in my shape and my boobs are amazing!! He removed 5 litres of fat during my 360 lipo!!! I asked for aggressive lipo and that’s exactly what I got. Beyond happy.

I had initial concerns about traveling to Turkey for plastic surgery, given the horror stories you often hear. However, after 18 months of research, I felt incredibly comfortable and reassured by Dr. Polat’s expertise. The experience I received exceeded all my expectations. My husband was also very wary with my decision but from day 1 in Turkey he felt so reassured with my decision and couldn’t believe the care I received compared to the uk. He is now their biggest fan and if I have surgery’s in the future he wouldn’t want me to go anywhere else including anywhere in the uk. You just wouldn’t receive that level of care elsewhere, it’s exceptional. Also a surgeon here in the uk wouldn’t get your body half as snatched as Dr Polat. I payed £2000 less than my friend who got just a lift & implants here in the uk and included in that price was my hotel, transfers, hospital stay and daily nurse visits. You will find cheaper surgery in turkey than Dr Polat but be careful as that’s where the bad stories come from. Don’t go for the cheapest!! You get quality and skill here and real care. I’ve been home 3 days and already receiving messages from his recovery team asking how I am, and telling me not to hesitate in getting in touch with any questions or concerns, they are there to help. The fact that they’re there even when you return home is so reassuring.

There is a WhatsApp group that I was added to with Dr Polat’s patients and future patients. That group was and is invaluable, with so much support and advice and lots of girls sharing their unbelievable results and journey’s. It’s a great group for advice and reassurance and great for tips on recovery and even advice on food etc when you’re there.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Polat and his team; he truly is a body genius with a warm and talented team around him.

After beating cancer in 2018 but then gaining some 130lbs due to the treatments and the post cancer illnesses such as early onset menopause, Fibromyalgia, shingles and arthritis to name but a few. My wife then lost the best part of that weight through hard diet and exercise (No Mounjaro in 2018-19!!) Unfortunately, this left her with a lot of loose skin around the belly and back which no amount of exercise would remove.
So, it was time to seek a surgical solution with a tummy tuck 360 after all she deserved it. So, the task, to find a reputable surgeon that could do the best job possible without having to take a out a second or third mortgage. We are English born living in the USA and holidayed extensively in Turkey so we were familiar with the 3 most popular centres of excellence.
Here is our journey to find our surgeon broken down into 3 areas:
Finding your surgeon:
Ruling out the USA because of the ridiculous costs the first task was to find the best qualified surgeon. Looking up what the best qualification is for plastic surgeons we find the American society of Plastic Surgeons is among the highest and most trustworthy of qualifications, so now working backwards I searched through UK and Turkish surgeons that posses this qualification. After all, if it’s the best the US surgeons can get it must be as good as it gets anywhere.
The Introduction:
I sent off my interest form and received a response very quickly from Deena who was to be Dr Murats consistent (really comforting) consultant throughout the process. She provided a questionnaire for us to fill in provide some photos and then they get back to you. The replay was surprising but really made me sit up and say this is our Dr. They didn’t say yes, we can do it here is the cost. The first replay was your wife’s BMI look to be above the weight given. Before Dr Murat will do the surgery, she will need to reduce her weight and BMI to a specific figure WOW!! I mean WOW!! You hear of the bad stories of surgeons get it wrong you never hear the good yet this Dr was saying no surgery unless you are at a healthier weight. That one sentence told me we had an ethical and moral person who would not put money before health (something we found out even more later). That’s was good enough for us. We were given a price for the surgery which also included accommodation and hospital stays, I can definitely say it was extremely competitive and puts US prices in the shade (bearing in mind this Dr has the same qualifications as most US surgeons). We accepted and paid the deposit. The time between surgery and our first contact was nearly 9 months Deena kept in constant touch asking how my wife’s weight loss was going and checking her BMI. Again, this just reassured us both we had a great team behind us.
The Visit
Finally, the time came to travel to Istanbul and meet Deena and Dr Murat. We were met outside the airport and driven to our hotel first again this was a 5-star hotel not 2 minutes from the hospital nothing here is done on a budget, the hotel was spotless rooms good sized and food was excellent. Breakfast is included and it’s a feast, the food in the restaurants was excellent and very reasonably priced, we could not fault this place.
Day 2 we went to the hospital early morning, my wife was checked in and taken to her room again the place was immaculate very clean very modern but best of all not overly large so the attention you get is first class all the way. Dr Murat came in at 7.00am checked my wife over double checked the surgery being performed and took multiple photos and drawings on my wife’s body. 1 hour later off she went. 5 hours later she was back, wrapped in blankets and recovering from the anesthetic. Again, the after care was phenomenal, there were always 2-3 nurses outside the room looking after 4 patients. Every 3 hours they were in checking blood pressure oxygen and adding fluids to aid recovery. I was stunned how good this care was the nurses were angels, I also got to stay with my wife for the 2 days we were in hospital (very reassuring) we were both fed 3 meals per day at no extra cost.
Recovery
Finally, it comes time to go back to the hotel to begin recovery. Does after care end there no way it just gets better. We were introduced to Miray our Nurse/Lymphatic Drainage masseur. Miray comes every day to clean and dress my wife’s incisions, she takes pictures and sends them back to Dr Murat, again the after care and ethics of this team are unreal you get the feeling they are totally engaged in your health and health only. If you get Miray you are in the best hands possible
Deena was a fantastic point of contact, she kept in touch with us constantly leading up to the operation and whilst here in Turkey arranged transport to and from the hospital constantly informing us of appointment time with the Dr and the nurses, a true star.

Dr Murat is a miracle worker !
The whole experience from start to finish is nothing short of amazing. The team are so friendly, helpful and professional and really look after you. I would highly recommend. I feel like a different person and definitely much more confident and finally happy with my body.

I went with dr murat polat because he had a lot of good reviews, although I did not know he was not board certified until after my surgery and I wish I knew that. I regret going with him, I got a bbl with 360 lipo but I had also enquired about chin lipo originally on WhatsApp, if you get chin lipo you have to get jplasma as well but they do the jplasma on the other areas you get lipo as well. I didn’t want to add anything on but they brought it up and I said I didn’t need chin lipo but the doctor said it wasn’t just chin lipo it was also buccal fat removal which made me decide to add it on, I don’t think they actually removed any buccal fat. I’m really annoyed the way that went because I didn’t need chin lipo and it was an extra 1500 euros. I got to the hospital around 8am and did all the tests which took about 2 hours, then they told me the doctor has another bbl first then mine will be done at 4pm so I have to wait another 6 hours just waiting in the hospital room and I’d been fasting since midnight so I was starving and so tired. I finally had the consultation at 4pm and I tried to say everything I wanted but it felt so rushed and I was so tired. When I originally sent them my wish pics on WhatsApp they told me I’ve got the right body for it and they’ll be able to achieve the look I want, then we go into the consultation with the doctor and the assistant shows the doctor the wish pics and like I could feel the awkwardness in the room like the doctor hadn’t seen those pics before and probably knew he couldn’t make me look like that. I told him I wanted my ass to look natural and he asked me if I wanted small natural and I said firmly no I want it to be massive I just want the shape natural. Directly after my surgery I woke up laying on my back, I instantly regretted going with this doctor. That’s the number one thing you’re not meant to do. I asked them why and they said I couldn’t lay face down because of the chin lipo, I wanted to cry because I knew it was a mistake going with this doctor. The one week check up after surgery I said it wasn’t big enough and the doctor said I didn’t have enough fat, why wouldn’t you say that before surgery? Then I found out they lipo’d 3 litres of fat but only re-injected 800 CC’s (mls) into each cheek, not even 50% of what’s re-injected survives so how was my ass meant to look how I asked with such little fat injected. A few weeks post op I told them how dissatisfied I was and they told me to eat healthy and do Pilates… how is that meant to get fat onto my ass? I can’t believe they said this.
I’m 16 weeks post op and my body looks the exact same as it did before the bbl, it was a complete waste of time and money and I couldn’t be more disappointed.

Edit: I have just seen the reply from Dr. Murat Polat and just have to say that I did not have a skinny BBL and there was never talk of a skinny BBL. Further to this, yes we did discuss what results could be achieved and that is where I was lied to as my results are nothing like what was promised. I also never expressed that I was happy with my results, from the 1 week check up until now I have continuously expressed that I am unhappy with my results so I do not appreciate the way you have tried to fabricate the story.

My experience with breast uplift surgery and 360 lipo with J Plasma was amazing from start to finish.

Deena was my coordinator and handled everything perfectly. We were met at the airport, taken to every hospital appointment, and she was always there for support.

On the day of surgery, the care was faultless – the nursing staff looked after me so well, and Deena was always close by. My bloods were checked before and twice after surgery as my iron was low, and I was even given printed reports to take home.

Afterwards, a nurse came to my hotel every day for lymphatic massages and to help with drains, which made recovery so much easier.

Two weeks on, I’m thrilled with my results and Deena still checks in with advice and support. Having had surgery in Turkey before, I can honestly say the level of treatment and service here was on another level.

Where do I start ? My experience from start to finish has been nothing but amazing ! My co-ordination Dina … oh she was just the sweetest , kindest person ever , I’m so lucky I got her and she made me feel so safe and comfortable . She was very informative throughout my trip, checking in on me and always just on the other end of the phone to answer all my questions, LOVED HER and I miss her so much already !!

Dr Murat Polat is an incredible surgeon , honest, knowledgeable and so experienced . He is just incredible and I would trust him 100% if you’re worried about what surgeon to pick , pick him! He knows what works for your body frame/shape and he advises you accordingly , he has such a calm manor that makes you feel extremely comfortable . So happy with my results !

From start to finish the service i have received has been excellent, I contacted Ahmed my coordinator back in november looking to have my belly skin removed after 25 years of having it i felt it was time I had it removed after having a sleeve and losing 5 stone. When I met Dr Murat he asked me what I wanted from the surgery and I told him I hated how my hangover was bulging on my sides and he suggested a 360 tuck and it would lift my wrinkly bum too so me thinking it would cost me a few thousand more when I asked he said €750 which shocked me so I agreed.
The hospital staff are so lovely and make your time in the hospital as comfortable as possible they dont speak much English but the use translate and it is so easy to use, one of the lovely nurses would take me outside her office in the fresh air she was so lovely, I can't fault any of the nurses and Dr's,
Dr murat was going to Singapore straight after my surgery so I haven't seen him since but he came to see my husband before her left to let him know it all went well which I thought was good.
Ahmed was a god send he answered all mine and my husbands questions and was there when we needed him, im only 3 weeks post op and im more than happy with my results so far, I can't wait for the finished results.

I’ve just returned from Turkey after having my breast implants changed and having a breast lift at the same time. My experience with Dr Murat and Deena, my coordinator, has been great. It was all well organised and very professional. I felt well looked after and my experience in the hospital with the nurses was the best I’ve ever had at any hospital in England or abroad!

I had surgery with Dr. Morat Polat on May 29 2025.

I had originally planned for Lipo 360, arm and inner thigh lipo, breast lift with implant exchange and BLL.

When I arrived Dr. Murat, being able to touch my belly and see in person advised I should do a tummy tuck, and also advised against the breast lift, to just get a bigger implant. He assured me that this was going to give me the best result. I was nervous, but I decided to trust the doctor.

I am SO happy that I did. My results 21 days post op are unreal already. The tummy tuck is perfect, the scar is minimal already, and my belly button shape is perfect. I was so worried about these things. He was also right about my breasts, the new implants fill out my skin wonderfully and I did not really need the lift! My fat transfer is also perfect. Not too dramatic but enough that it makes me have the curves I always wanted.

I cannot recommend Dr. Polat enough. Him and his entire team were amazing from start to finish.

His coordinator Deena who I first spoke to is one of the reasons I chose Dr. Polat. She is so knowledgeable, caring and reassuring. She took the time to explain so many things to me and answer all my questions. She really made me feel comfortable and like I had made the right decision. I had contacted many doctors for information and quotes and Dr. Polat just felt right.

From the minute we left he airport until the day we went home, we knew we were in good hands. He operates right out of the hospital, and the hotel is right across the street. The nurses came daily for bandage care and massages, and to help you change and shower. The hospital staff is warm and very accommodating to your needs, the hotel was perfect, and Dr. Murat Polat is very down to earth and easy to talk to.

Since I have been home, the aftercare has been great as well. I have a nurse channel on whats app and I am sending pics every few days or if I have a concern or question its passed on to the doctor with a response within the hour usually.

If you have been searching for the right doctor and considering Dr. Polat, rest assured you are in good hands. The whole experience was perfect and I would highly recommend to anyone who is wanting surgery in Turkey.
