On September 13th, I traveled to Istanbul, Turkey, to undergo a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure with Dr. Murat.

Dr. Murat and I met on the 13th September where he asked me to de-robe to examine me and my torso/buttock area to confirm what would be possible and for the best results for the BBL surgery. At this assessment/consultation Dr. Murat affirmed during my the in-person consultation, where I was explicitly advised that I was an ideal candidate for a J-plasma and standard 360 liposuction with BBL (fat transfer) procedure. I was assured that I would NOT need a tummy tuck, as my skin had good elasticity and I would not experience sagging or loose skin upon achieving my final results, anticipated at the six-month mark.

After returning from Istanbul to the UK, I noticed that my recovery was progressing slowly, yet I continued to provide regular updates to my patient manager with images and videos. Over time, I grew increasingly concerned about the texture of my skin, the presence of loose skin on the lower part of my stomach, and residual fat that remained despite my strict adherence to post-operative care.

I have undergone over 20 post-operative massages, and my therapist can attest to my commitment to the recommended aftercare. I wore my faja, 24 hour a day, for over 4 months, with a hard board and back board, which was purchased from a recommended provider, adjusted it as the post-operative swelling reduced, and wore it consistently day and night. As a gym instructor, I maintain a healthy lifestyle, exercising four times a week and following a balanced diet.

Dr. Murat assured me through two video consultations that any necessary corrections would be carried out free of charge, after the 6 months recovery had been completed. Since this time, the skin is still loose and shows signs that a tummy tuck was needed.

However, to address the issues that have arisen, due to mis-information at the consultation, Dr.Murat is now recommending a tummy tuck, which carries a personal expense of €1,600 for hospital fees. Additionally, I would need to cover accommodation costs in Turkey for seven nights (€105.00 per night approx.) and bear the expense of flights. Also, I would need to adhere to the aftercare program prescribed by the Dr. Murat after the operation. Given the emotional and physical toll of the initial procedure and cost, I have decided not to undergo further surgery, especially at my own expense.

I am extremely disappointed with this outcome. The initial procedure was both physically and emotionally taxing. I was misinformed at the consultation, and had I known a tummy tuck was necessary, I would have reconsidered proceeding with only the BBL and J-plasma and considered the tummy tuck there and then!

Considering the circumstances, I have requested a partial refund for my distress and bad results - I have been denied any type of refund and been told I have to come back to Turkey to undergo more painful surgery to rectify the issues.....So i am left over 5.5K (GBP) out of pocket with lose hanging skin and no resolution!

i would never go to this doctor again, you are supposed to trust in what an expert says and when they say you DO NOT need a tummy tuck, you definitely do not have one! So disappointed and upset by the response...

My experience in Turkey with Dr. Murat Polat was nothing short of amazing. From the very first moment, his professionalism, charm, and incredibly positive energy made me feel completely at ease. I'm English and live in Istanbul and have recently had breast lift and implant with Dr Murat Polat. I would not of gone anywhere else. From the very beginning of the process right up to now with constant aftercare and check ins everything has been amazing. I travelled to Istanbul to see dr Murat Polat via finding him online and really connecting with a lot of his patients results I really trusted his whole aesthetic because he was an individual surgeon and not a medical tourism company.his medical assistants stayed in constant contact before I travelled answered the endless questions I had I can’t say enough good things about Deena his medical consultant, she really did put me at ease. Once I got there I was met by transfer took directly to hospital for bloods etc the next morning had the rest of my tests met my surgeon twice before surgery , I have to say dr Murat Polat is completely safe as there was a medication I forgot to mention and that meant he couldn’t and wouldn’t perform one of the surgeries I wanted as it wasn’t safe , he is a total professional! After surgery the nurses and all the staff took such good care of me I didn’t have to ask for anything twice they were always there to help me with pain and support. Dr Polats team has a nurse that attends the hotel and she is just lovely and even on the last checkup all the staff were just so caring and warm. My transfer arrived on time every time I used them and my entire trip was seamless. Upon returning the aftercare team yagmur and Deena have all been in touch checking on me I’m feeling great absolutely no problems a little tender but no pain. When I look back at how worried I was going for surgery to turkey it seems surreal as I had such a brilliant experience with a brilliant team. Thank you team Polat ❤️

I had breast uplift with replacement implants, extended tummy tuck, arm lift and 360 Lipo. I am absolutely over the moon with me results and will 100% be going back for my thighs and eyes. The care I received was outstanding.
My husband was skeptical of us going over the turkey but he would want me to go back there for any future surgeries, the pre and post op care was the best I have ever received. Dr Murat Polat did exactly what I wanted. The nurses were so caring and my coordinator was in contact all the time. The hospital was being cleaned all the time and the hospital food was incredible 😂 The nurse Havva that comes to the hotel is a magician she is an outstanding nurse.

The post op care since iv been home has also been incredible. They are still very much guiding me through my recovery. I have had plastic surgery in the UK and I have to say that my care and treatment were so much better with Dr Murat Polat in Istanbul.

My result is coming out perfekt, exactly as i want it. I’m very happy with it.

For me, safety was just as important as the result. With Dr. Polat, I had a good feeling right from the start. He works with the safest methods to eliminate any risk of complications. I felt completely well taken care of at all times. The hospital staff and his team are incredibly friendly and attentive to every concern. I feel completely comfortable and well looked after at all times.

The entire stay is perfectly organized. You don’t have to worry about anything yourself and always have a contact person available. My contact person was Ilyas—many thanks at this point for the excellent care.
Even after returning to my home country Germany, there is an excellent aftercare team that regularly checks on your recovery progress and immediately provides support if you have any questions.

I had a double chin and slight jawline liposuction with Dr. Murat Polat, and I absolutely love the results! It’s quite an extreme yet incredibly natural change for me. It’s noticeable, but in the best way possible for those who knows me. My friends have really noticed it, and most importantly, I can see the difference myself. I no longer feel self-conscious about my profile.

The entire experience was amazing. Ilyas, the coordinator, was incredibly kind, patient, and reassuring. He explained everything clearly, which made me feel comfortable throughout the process. The pre-op and post-op tests and consultations went smoothly, and the medical staff, especially the nurses, were so friendly and professional. I have wanted my surgeries for quite some years but I hadn't found any surgeon that stood out to me until I came accross dr polat. I was in contact with the team to begin with just checking in with things like the aftercare as it was out the country and that was my biggest concern.

I had a breast lift, implants and rhinoplasty. I am honestly soo happy with my results I'm into my second week of healing now. My rhinoplasty I would honestly not know I had this done I felt zero pain I have been so suprised it was only slightly uncomfortable when the cast was removed as my skin is dry and it was obviously swolen after the surgery but dr polat was super gentle and careful when removing it ❤️
For reference i am that patient when it comes to medication or rare side effects of things i honestly get them all! 🙈 Lol ...on the morning of my procedures dr polat came down and discussed everything with me made sure we were happy with everything told me what would be happening etc so i was super happy and confident and very excited! I honestly felt so safe and reassured by dr polat, his vision his honesty his skills were everytbing i went to him for and i just knew i had made the right decision from the beginning but felt even more confident after meeting with him! 🤩 Dr Polat answered any questions i had and gave me all my options it was like he read my mind because what he said about creating the most natural look everything within proportion to my frame it was all just spot on ❤️ with my breast uplift and implants the procedure really was fantastic the team when taking me into theatre were brilliant very caring and lovely very thorough and professional. The following morning Dr Polat came to see me first thing to see how I was doing he looked a little concerned and I explained my right breast felt a little more painful that morning and without hesitation he said I think we have a haematoma in the right breast let's get u back into surgery today we will clean it and makesure it's all ok. I was sooo grateful for him recognising this in me as soon as he did and rectifying the situation as soon as he possibly could and thats exactly what he did, his suspicions were right and he is truly amazing at what he does. This is exactly why I chose him because I knew based on my medical history of how my body works 🙈 if something was to not go to plan due to how my body responds to things then he is the right man for the job. I can not reccomend Dr Polat and his team more they have honestly been the best people I could have wished for to have been taking care of me before,after and during surgery. They all were always checking on me even Dr polat himself one night after he finished surgeris past midnight he came into check on me ❤️....I am so grateful for the amazing work all the team do they all play such an important part they all work very hard. I started looking into various procedures with Dr Murat Polat about a year ago and was put in contact with one of Dr Polat's coordinators, Layda.
Firstly, I want to give Layda the biggest mention as right from the very start she was so helpful, so patient and genuinely caring... she answered all my questions in quick time and if ever she wasn't sure, she'd ask the doctor and get back to me in good time.
She has been totally amazing throughout, consistent communication and making sure I'd remembered everything I needed to know/do before surgery.
She put me totally at ease from the first message and supported me throughout, even after surgery... I am so grateful to her!
My second mention is to the lovely Yagmur who met me at my first visit to the hospital - she has been brilliant and was in contact before my hospital visit, making sure I knew all the arrangements and made sure while I was in the hospital I was kept informed at every step.
She was also in contact throughout my stay at the hotel (which is also brilliant!) after surgery and has been messaging me while I'm back home to make sure I'm doing okay.
I'm really glad to be able to tell both Layda and Yagmur every time they check in that I am doing really well and very happy with my results and overall experience! Every part of the process went so smoothly and I felt safe and in good hands the whole time.
Dr Polat is a lovely gentleman and also made me feel at ease as he made multiple visits to see me, he explained things to me and made sure the choices made were mine and he was honest in his professional view.
I trusted him entirely and I'm so pleased I did as although it's still very early days, I'm super happy with my results and cannot wait to see the healed results.
I had 3 procedures at once; upper eyelid reduction, rhinoplasty and breast implants to correct bottoming out of previous uplift with a different surgeon.
Having surgery is a big thing and feels more so in a different country, but I honestly cannot fault anyone from Dr Polat's team that I came into contact with! The care directly after surgery was brilliant, I was never in any real pain and the night staff were so attentive (I think my nurse was called Havva who was so caring, I wish I could have seen her before I left!) and also the gentleman who was working with her that night, just faultless!
If ever wanted anything else doing in the future, I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else other than to Dr Murat Polat so thank you again Dr! You and your team are the best!

To start with, my patient coordinator Deena was absolutely fantastic from the beginning and still is, after 5 weeks of my surgery.
Deena provided all the information and gave me feeling I am being taken care of properly, once I fly from UK to Istanbul.
Upon arrival, I met Deena and received warm welcome.
Next morning was time for my Mommy makeover surgery and I met with Dr. Murat and got a really good feeling of him as a person.
I had my husband with me and he also felt really good about Dr. Murat, so we both were happy to proceed with the surgery.
To prep for the surgery, nursing staff took good care of me and once in the theater, I got a bit nervous as Dr. Murat didn't appear to be there. The anesthetic Dr. was really friendly though and made me feel better.
After the operation was over, Dr. Murat had gone to my room, to give an update to my husband, which he found very professional and great gesture.
Once I was brought to the room after my surgery, nursing staff and Deena took really good care of me.
Now, 5 weeks after my operation, I can safely say, this was right decision as all my scars are healing really well. I'm so happy with the quality of Dr. Murat's "handiwork".
I can highly recommend Dr. Murat Polat to anyone.

I recently visited Dr Murat and his team and I can honestly say I had the most amazing experience!

I have always been quite skeptical about receiving surgery abroad as you hear so many horror story’s but from the moment I I messaged ilyas who was my coordinator throughout my time visiting he was amazing and still is now I have arrived home!

I have never been put to sleep before so it was my first time, and I suffer really bad with my anxiety, but the reassurance and the care I received was none I have received here in the UK, the nurses made sure I was comfortable kept on top of pain relief and I couldn’t thank everyone enough, after a nights stay in hospital we was then transferred to our hotel which was literally minutes away, which again put my mind at ease, the hotel was spotless, bed was so comfortable and all the staff was really helpful! I also had a nurse visit me everyday to check up on me and change dressings.

Dr Murat is so professional and his work is exceptional! I am so happy I chose him and am so happy with my results so far and only been back a couple of days!

I have just had my 21 year old, ruptured implants replaced by Dr Murat Polat and have had the best service and care from the whole team. From start to finish it has been great, hassle free and everything made very easy. I was fully informed of everything that was happening. Deena has been so helpful, answered all questions, made all taxi arrangements and hotel bookings even when our flight was cancelled and we had to fly the next day. I was always advised where to be and when, which made it very stress free. Dr Polat managed to squeeze my surgery in the next day, was warm and welcoming, listened to my requirements and delivered exactly as required. The care team were amazing and looked after me so well, always with a smile. I can’t fault a thing and would highly recommend to anyone.

On Wednesday 12th February I had my old breast implants removed by Dr Murat (they were awful, had them done at a clinic in Liverpool, England). I specifically asked Dr Murat for my new implants to be in proportion with my body and an uplift. My wish has come true and I’m soooo happy with what has been done. My scars are so thin and neat, and I’m up and about doing most normal things although I’m still in recovery. My old scars, from previous surgery are so much thicker. I wish I’d heard about Dr Murat earlier.

My journey from beginning to now has been absolutely amazing. Deena the coordinator is the most loveliest lady, she answered all my questions and concerns prior to surgery. Deena arranged my hotel stay, transport, met me before and after the operation many times. Even today, she is messaging asking how I am getting on and has made it clear, although I’m back in my home country, my journey with them hasn’t ended. She has gone completely above and beyond. I met many people during my stay and the amount of people that talk high of Deena and Dr Murat is outstanding.

Just to add… Dr Murats staff have had surgery from him. Now that tells me he is amazing, as they don’t trust anyone else.

We found special cheap deals with many other companies in Turkey. Don’t do it! I’ve heard many horror stories. If you’re doing any surgery choose wisely and go with the most highly recommended surgeons.

My journey isn’t finished as mentioned and I will be writing another short review, once I’ve fully healed.

I have just come back to the UK. I could not recommend Dr Polat and his team highly enough. I had a tummy tuck and 360 lipo, plus thighs and arms lipo and j plasma. Dr Polat is very sweet and caring, he kept checking on me multiple times a day after my surgeries and he ensured that I was well and fit enough before discharging me. The team at the hospital is very attentive and caring. You can see that they have a passion for helping people, and it made my hospital stay easier. A special thank you to Ilyas as he has assisted me and my friend throughout our journeys. We could not have done this without you. It is the first time I use a doctor’s team rather than a broker, and I can finally say that I felt we have been treated like patients rather than transactions. I travelled from the UK to Istanbul to have a breast uplift with implant replacement with Dr Murat Polat. My first point of contact was Deena my coordinator who has been absolutely amazing from the start. Deena is very understanding, attentive and made me feel so comfortable from the start always taking the time to answer any of my questions and giving me all the information I need. Having had breast surgery in the UK the care I received here was so much better. Here I had extensive pre op checks, an overnight stay and also a nurse visiting me in the hotel afterwards to change my dressings every other day. The nurses in the hospital are so kind and made sure I had everything I needed from pain management, taking me for a walk and bringing my partner food when i could not yet eat. I was discharged the next day and Deena ensured to check on me and gave me some suggestions of places to visit as it was valentines day. The hotel is 5 star and my partner made good use of the pool and gym while I was recovering. Dr Murat Polat is very kind and understanding he listened to what I was wanted to achieve. He's very talented as I know my surgery was not easy due to one of my implants flipping and causing the breasts to be very uneven. He also came to see me before I was discharged to ensure I was OK and fit for discharge. What i also liked about Dr Murat Polat is that he wont do unnecessary surgeries i did orginally go for lipo as well but upon my consulatation he advised I did not need this. Since returning back to the UK Deena has been checking on me and also the aftercare team has been checking my progress pictures to make sure I am healing well. I was nervous about getting surgery abroad but I can honestly say the whole team made me feel so comfortable. Thank you 😊

I originally came for lipo360 but the doctor told me he couldn’t perform it because there was not enough fat on my body but i’ve seen patients with less fat receive liposuction in that area. The after care team is amazing though, however if you want very drastic results go to another doctor he is very subtle.

I had liposuction on my back and tummy area I can only say how good job Dr Murat did and how well his team worked. Dr Murat was soo sweet and gentle we meet him before the surgery and he came to see me after surgery to make sure I am okey. We had Ahmad’s help with everything. He really made us feel safe and was always available when we needed help. He made sure we was okey before and after our surgery and checked on us when we left hospital. Nurses in the hospital was really sweet and took good care for us even if some of them couldn’t understand english they really made us feel save and did their best so we wouldn’t feel pain. Overall the whole organisation was good they had a luxury car waiting for us at the airport and we had taxi drivers to take us to the hospital and back to hotel. Choice of hotel was really good too.

It’s with deep regret that I have to formally address serious concerns regarding my Lipo360 procedure performed in May 2024.

The results of the surgery have been unsatisfactory, and I am extremely unhappy with the overall outcome. I inquired about the necessity of going ATM during my stay at the hospital, as there may be a “transfer fee” and the doctor advised against it, stating that the transfer was fine because it take up some time. I strongly believe that this decision has contributed to the lack of satisfactory results, as my arms and back remain unchanged.

Additionally, I find it unacceptable that the doctor was not present in the room when I was put to sleep. I did not have any interaction with the doctor until the day before my departure, which raises serious concerns about the level of care provided during my procedure. Nor was he there at my time at the hospital when I had woken up.

I would like to discuss this matter further and explore potential options for resolution. Please let me know a suitable time for us to connect.

I tried to reach out using the company Clineca, however the response provided was not satisfactory. - “ Regarding your underarm area, when the doctor checked during the surgery, they saw that the appearance was due to excess skin, not fat, so no procedure was performed there because that area was not suitable for liposuction.”

I should’ve been informed this and refunded the money for arm lipo however nothing has been refunded all now.

Everything that couldn’t be done was blamed on saggy and extra skin when that is not the case. i had a baby 2 years ago so there is the overhanging fupa but not on my back.

I do not recommend clinca, nor do I recommend Dr. Polat for lipo 360 and arms. I thought I had done great research but there’s been a lot of misunderstanding with how I wanted my treatment. I had only spoken to dr minutes before my surgery and that was the first interaction I had.
