GDT have given me excellent drone training, feedback, and customer service to obtain my GVC, A2CofC and CAA operational authorisation quickly and smoothly. The 2 day GVC course was well run, easy to follow and understand and any questions from my group were answered knowledgeably. The after course service is just as good and all queries are answered within a Working day. You would definitely not regret using GDT for your drone training

Excellent training course! Despite having to do it on Zoom for COVID reasons, it was still delivered excellently.
The experience from start to finish was professional and couldn’t be recommended highly enough.
The practical flight test was also a very stress free experience and Carys was very helpful and thorough.

The overall experince from start of my training, doing my test and then the CAA application proccess has been wonderfull. All the staff are verey knowlagble and helpfull. no question is a hassell for them to answer. their knowladge of all things drone related is second to none.

Really enjoyed the GVC course. Learnt a lot, was delivered in a very methodical and understandable way. Plenty of time for questions and clarifications. Following passing the exams and flight test the support provided to get Operational Authorisation was superb, very efficient and all steps very clear. Had excellent experience with Drone Training guys and gals, starting from a very good course drone course, with a very good instructor. During the process they've also helped, guided, and assisted with obtaining commercial licence, which went without a glitch.

In the past I've also called them for advice in my projects, and was given all the helpful answers and directions. Full support.

Finally, around time of renewal, they've taken great care to prepare me in time and assist with the process.

I have just completed the A2C/GVC course and flight assessment with Steve in Scotland. I just wanted to drop a brief note to say thanks for everything Drone Training have delivered so far.

All communication has been excellent and it was great to talk through the options with Elliot before deciding on a path. I have found all materials clear and the process for generating documents extremely effective. I have also really enjoyed the two days of theory and PFT and was delighted that I had chosen to do the whole course rather than seek an exemption from the CAA for theory based on my full-size aviation experience. The syllabus confirmed that there is simply too much that is unique to UA flying to assume you will understand this because you fly something else - and I'd encourage anyone in a similar situation to do the same thing. The course was also a great opportunity for me to brush up on principles in key areas such as meteorology and charts that will only improve my full-size aviation experience.

Steve my instructor was superb - covering the syllabus diligently but also recognising my prior experience. This allowed us to concentrate our time and effort on enhancing and filling gaps in my knowledge - which occasionally strayed into other areas of aviation - something I saw as a real advantage and "added value" that was only possible because of his extensive experience. Steve also created an environment that was conducive to learning, striking the right balance between teacher, adviser and enthusiast whilst also acting as an excellent host!

I really wish I had gone with Drone Training a few months back as I now know it would have saved me a lot of time and energy negotiating the complex and changing operational environment that is commercial UAS operations and I would be delighted to recommend you to others in a similar situation.

Fantastic service. DroneTraining were very accommodating, during the lock down. They were able to transfer their training in to webinars to allow our staff to train and then ran the assessments in small groups with social distancing in place. Staff are very friendly and very happy to help!
Their PfCO renewal process was a piece of cake and saved us a lot of time and effort trying to do it ourselves.
Will definitely be using them again.

Great service and very helpful, will definitely use them again. I also joined the Pro membership as I think its a brilliant idea and a fantastic way to keep up to date with all the changes coming in over the next year. Would totally recommend!
