As a Dj and radio presenter this makes my life a lot simpler when creating bespoke mixes for my radio shows. The interface is simple to master and its great a producing seamless beat matched mixes simply by dragging and dropping into a time line. Those who have used software such a mixmeister are in for a treat.

Best for trying put transition ideas at your own pace


I mostly use it for simple mixes but I like to experiment with its features on transitions.

To be clear, I'm NOT a professional DJ, just someone who likes choose and play music at a couple of parties I hold each year for friends. It occurred to me I'd love it if I could choose the tracks, set up some transitions, save it all, and then simply press play and let it go. I came across DropLab, and having used the free version for a few hours, purchased the full version. It is exactly what I was looking for, being very easy and intuitive to use, whilst allowing me to match/transition tempos, change pitch, with a range of easy to use track transition tools, which allow some standard structures (eg X-Fade)as starting points, but then allow you to fully customise the transitions to yout taste. In addition the team at DropLab (Alex was my main contact) are extremely helpful and responsive if you have any problems. Overall, a great piece of mixing software at a reasonable cost!

This app makes it so much easier to keep my DJ passion alive. I can just have fun DJing right from my sofa bed.

I've been using DropLab since shortly after it was released and it was a "life saver" for me since my old mixing app (Mix Meister) glitched during the peak of the pandemic and there was no support available from the company. DropLab is easy to learn, visually attractive, and the creators are always making cool improvements that make mixing easier & more efficient.

I realised that It’s perfect for fast mixing, editing, and prepping sets without needing to plug in a single cable. The interface is clean, smart, and just flexible enough to make your creative brain happy.

I always wanted to have a drag-and-drop DJ editor that’s built for actual DJs and this is it. No nonsense. Just good vibes and pro results.
