I met with Dr. Ozden after finding her online - I was attracted to the fact that her expertise is in body contouring and the fact that she is a female- I wanted a Dr. that understood the woman’s body. She put me at ease and thoroughly explained the procedure that would give me the best results. She was very direct about what could and could not be accomplished and it was a breath of fresh air - as she is a straight shooter and that’s what I needed to help me correctly evaluate my decisions.
I had a second consultation and I decided to move forward with Dr. Ozden- I should explain I have a serious lung condition and Dr. Ozden made me visit with a Pulmonologist and Anesthesiologist before she would move forward- I realized the risks and I felt very comfortable moving forward. At all times Dr. Ozden put my health at the forefront and I felt supported at all times.
I decided to stay in the Hospital for a few extra days just in case and Dr. Ozden visited and checked me each morning - her amazing chief nurse Mirac was so compassionate and made me very comfortable; she even braided my hair for me as it was getting in my way.
I love my results and I highly recommend Dr. Ozden; I traveled from the United States and am very thankful to have found such a skilled Dr. her work is truly an art.

I’ve had tt, mr, lipo360 and breast reduction . I’m really glad that I’ve choose Sema Özden . I’ve stayed in hospital 3 nights by my chose normally one night is enough. I can say my c section was more painful than this combine surgery. I’ve had some pain after surgery but it was bearable . After care presses is still going on . And I am really happy with my results . I totally recommend dr Sema and her clinic.

I went to Sema Özden for breast augmentation surgery upon the recommendation of a friend I trust very much. My surgery took place on March 15th. It is already impossible not to notice how meticulous Sema is about her work. Today is my 12th day and I feel so good that I almost forget that I had the surgery. When it comes to the process, all the women in the clinic are smiling and show their mastery of the subject. As someone who is afraid of botox injections, I had a very, very easy process and it was not as I feared. It is reassuring to see the entire team there at the hospital. Mirac’s mastery of the subject, being able to ask Gülben anything I have in mind and getting a response very quickly is a great comfort for a patient, in my opinion. She took care of me from the early morning to the middle of the night. The entire team is very knowledgeable about their work. On April 27, 2024, I underwent a tummy tuck, breast reduction, and laser liposuction at İzmir Gazi Hospital, performed by Dr. Sema Özden. Hoping to achieve a more aesthetic appearance, I instead faced serious health complications and profound disappointment. The attention and approach shown by Mrs. Sema, who initially instilled incredible confidence in me, enabled me to enter the surgery with trust, despite having had a pulmonary embolism 10 years ago (with her prior knowledge before the surgery). However, despite all the precautions she had taken, my persistent back pain and shortness of breath 3-4 days after the surgery did not prevent me from experiencing a second pulmonary embolism. I fought for my life for ten days. After enduring a surgery that seriously endangered my health, I was also left with a deeply disappointing aesthetic outcome.

When I first looked in the mirror post-surgery, I immediately expressed my dissatisfaction, but her nurse, Miraç, told me I needed to wait six months for the swelling to subside. I patiently waited, believing my body would recover, but nothing changed. The promised reduction from the breast reduction surgery did not materialize; instead, my breasts were left with irregular, unesthetic scars as if kilograms of tissue had been removed, yet the actual reduction in size was only half a cup. When I pointed out that my bra size had not changed, the doctor claimed that I had previously worn a smaller bra size. However, I had been purchasing my bras from the same brand for years, and my size was documented in their system, yet no reasonable explanation was provided.

For the tummy tuck, I was assured that the incision would remain hidden within my underwear line. However, the incision extended beyond this area, and noticeable bulges formed at both ends. This was both physically and psychologically distressing, yet the doctor downplayed the issue. Initially, I was told that the wounds on my abdomen and breasts were not infected, but as the stitches opened further over time, they left permanent scars that I would have to live with for the rest of my life. At first, I was only advised to wash the area with soapy water and massage it, but when the wounds worsened, I was prescribed ampoule antibiotics. Because the appropriate treatment was not administered in time, the scars became even more pronounced. Later, I was informed that correcting the bulges would require an additional 2+2 cm, totaling 4 cm, of extra incisions on both sides.

The presence of persistent bulges around all three incision sites on my abdomen and breasts, despite their large size, strongly suggested medical malpractice. Dr. Sema trivialized this mistake, suggesting during a follow-up appointment at her clinic that she could correct each incision with a 2 cm cut under local anesthesia, totaling 12 cm of additional incisions. However, as someone who now takes 20 mg of blood thinners daily and having completely lost trust in her, I could not find the courage to undergo another procedure with her.

The doctor's indifference after the surgery made the process even more difficult. I tried to voice my complaints, but direct communication with her was impossible. I was constantly redirected to her nurse, receiving dismissive responses such as, "Should I take the doctor out of surgery just for you?" Even though I was told that I would see the promised and agreed-upon results at the six-month mark, eleven months have now passed, and absolutely nothing turned out as expected.

When I decided to pursue legal action, I requested my medical report (epikriz) from the hospital. However, the doctor failed to submit it on time, preventing me from obtaining it when I first requested it. She only sent the legally required document to the hospital in the seventh month, and I finally received it two days later. The payment process for the surgery was also far from transparent. I was asked to pay in cash, and no invoice matching my payment amount was issued. The quality of the service I received did not remotely justify the amount I paid.

In summary, this entire process was a complete trauma for me in every aspect. If someone were to ask me about Dr. Sema Özden, I would say nothing—I would simply show them my body and let them make their own decision.

I trusted Dr.Sema for my hourglass aesthetic operation and it was the best decision I made. 7 months into the operation and I am thrilled with the results. She is a great surgeon and a great personality. I also would like to thank her team. They were always helpful. All in all that was a great experience for me and I recommend to everybody thinking having abdomioplasty surgery.

We live in Germany and we heard of Dr. Sema Özden’s talent and work ethic from our friends many times. When I decided to have the belt lipectomy operation we got in touch with her team and they took great care of us. We flew to Izmir and witnessed that Dr. Sema was the perfectionist they told to us and she ran everything smoothly. The operation went very well. Healing period was also great and I am extremely happy to have Dr. Sema had my operation. Her team was also always lovely. I recommend her clinic to everyone thinking having a plastic surgery.
