Hydrate (orange & pineapple)
I have several subscriptions for Dr Vegan supplements and I'm very pleased overall. I don't have to think about purchasing more as everything just arrives in time and I've certainly noticed a difference in my general wellbeing particularly at the moment as I'm approaching menopause.
Given the excellent experience so far, I thought I'd give Hydrate sachets a go. I've been adding electrolytes to my water for quite some time but I never tried flavoured ones so I purchased 2x15 packs of orange & pineapple flavour. I really wanted to like them, especially as I find them rather pricey, but I absolutely hate them. I know they don't contain any artificial sweetener but they taste as if they do and they leave a strange aftertaste in my mouth that lingers. Initially I thought I just need to give it a bit of time to get used to it but after a week I just can't stomach it anymore and I switched back to plain electrolytes. Taste is obviously a personal thing and I'm sure not everyone will feel the same but I would suggest to maybe purchase only one packet if you're trying it for the first time.
My low rating is only in reference to this specific product, everything else is great and I have no complaints.

The electrolyte was difficult to drink
The electrolyte was difficult to drink. I didn’t like the taste at all. I was really looking forward to a new healthy electrolyte drink with no sugars or sweeteners. I think I will try it with a little cordial to see if that increases its drinkability. I think the recipe needs to be improved.

Great product!
I ordered Dr Vegan magnesium capsules after trying various others. I do take it in powder form as it gets digested quicker but as I'm travelling soon wanted capsules as easier to take. As these as natural citrate magnesium it's gentle on the stomach whilst helping me sleep better, less achy joints and keeps my bowels regular since menopause. Highly recommend, great product and service!

I really appreciate the concept behind Dr Vegan Pregnancy vitamins—especially the biodegradable packaging and vegan capsules, which reflect a thoughtful commitment to quality and sustainability. I purchased them from my local health store in Cape Town to give them a try.
However, my experience has been disappointing due to the strong smell, which persists even after trying to mask it with an additional pouch. The odor is so potent that it filled my entire apartment. I tried putting it in the fridge and now my fridge smells too. I was surprised by how strong the smell was, especially considering there’s no omega added, which I thought might be the source.
While I admire the product's ethos and quality, the smell issue makes it difficult for me to continue using them. Hopefully, this is something that can be improved, as I genuinely liked the idea behind the brand.

The debloat and detox and gut works are a saviour. I can't believe how these products have made a difference to my health since surgically induced menopause 3 years ago. I can't take the usual vits and supplements such as red cohosh for menopause symptoms so focus on "the gut" and how that being out of whack can really have effect the body and mind.
The days I miss I can really feel the difference.

Essential probiotic for women
First time ordering - the capsules arrived very quickly, thank you. The packaging is a little pouch which is much more convenient to keep and avoid cluttering up with more pots!
This probiotic which Dr Vegan offers is particularly good for women, as it contains vital lactobacillus organisms vital for women’s health particularly as we grow older and particularly post-menopausal. Published results on studies show the various types of lactobacillus found in women’s vag and one is L.Crispatus which is very important for maintaining intimate health, but is not always included in women’s health probiotics - so I was very glad to find this one that does contain it, along with other essential types of lactobacillus. They colonise in the intestinal tract and make their way through also helping recolonise in the female reproductive areas as well.
