I bought my first pair of Dubarry boots around 6 years ago and loved them and cared for them and wore them for most of that time. When that wear began to show in the lining of the boots, I was forced to part with them to be sent off for repair. Unfortunately, the issue was not one that could be repaired, so the Boot Repair Company (who carry out Dubarry repairs) refunded me straight away, and arranged to have my boots returned. Fine so far. Disappointing, but not irredeemable. However, my boots never arrived. First they were lost in the warehouse, then they were lost in the post. No matter, the Boot Repair Company arranged for a brand new pair of boots to be sent out to me. Amazing. I gave them my size, remembering that I'd had the Extra Fit boots before.
My new boots arrived, but they did not fit the way I remembered. They rubbed, I got blisters every time I wore them, despite pretty rigorous wearing-in. I was distraught. I'd been accustomed to wearing my boots everywhere, to do everything, from grocery shopping to country walks. But in these new ones, there was no way I could do that.
I'd worn them out and about already, so I didn't think I'd be able to send them back, and as they'd been a repair replacement, I didn't have a receipt. I emailed Dubarry customer service and told them my sorry tale, not really expecting them to be able to do anything, but I needed to express my disappointment that two pairs of the same boots could be so different.
Donna and Amber were nothing short of amazing. They sent me a returns label so that I could send the boots back in for checking over, and once they were in, kindly suggested that I might want to try a different size. My old boots were long lost by the time I'd given the Boot Repair Company my size, so I'd had no way to check if I'd ordered a different size to my usual. Nonetheless, Donna suggested the size up, and sent me the link for the size chart so I could decide what to do. I decided to take her advice and, even though there was apparently nothing wrong with the boots I'd already been wearing, they arranged to have another new pair sent out to me, in (what turns out to be) the correct size.
I cannot express how extremely grateful I am for such incredible customer service. What started out as a really stressful experience has ended up entirely restoring my faith in both Dubarry's product, and their customer service.
I would not hesitate to recommend them, and Donna and Amber in particular are both absolute stars. Thank you so much!

I ordered a pair of boots a few years ago and they have been a great since day one, only recently they started leaking water from one boot. I got in contact with customer service aware that it was well outside of the one year warranty they offer to see if they could do / offer any suggestion to fix the problem. The customer service team was prompt via email, really easy to deal with and subsequently without hassle offered to replace my boots, which arrived today. Their customer service team are excellent, I cannot fault them and will remain a happy and loyal customer.

I wanted to know the weight of a particular boot , and although Donna didn’t have that information to hand, she very quickly found out and let me know. Hello - After several emails exchanges we have not been able to resolve the issue of a faulty zip on my boot - the best i was offered was a 10% reduction on a new pair - or I pay for a new zip - very disappointed plus I was made to feel that it was all my fault - when you pay over £350 for footwear you expect it to last.

I had an overwhelmingly positive experience with Dubarry of Ireland and specifically with Donna from their customer service team who definitely went above and beyond for me.
I am from Manitoba Canada and I had ordered (and paid for), a pair of Dubarry Galway boots from a Canadian online-company who sold Dubarry boots and never received them. After months of waiting and trying to get in touch with the Canadian company I reached out to Dubarry of Ireland through their customer service email from their website.
Within 48 hours I was contacted by Donna who empathized with my frustration and offered to follow up with the Canadian online-company on my behalf to find out why I had not received my order. Over the next few weeks Donna kept in touch with me regularly and in the end chose to honor my order!
I had wanted a pair of Dubarry Galway boots for over 30 years and Donna’s willingness to work through my unique situation turned a very frustrating and disappointing situation around and I am now a proud owner of a pair of my dream boots! They arrived earlier this week and I have hardly had them off since!
I am sincerely grateful for the amazing customer service I received. I will be a future customer and above all else highly recommend Dubarry of Ireland to others!

Bought these expensive boots for the daily walk with my dog. After half a year my feet got wet and when I checked the soles were cracked. Contacted my dealer and he sent it to Dubarry. Unfortunately it was sent back and I was told the maintainence for the boots where the problem… I don’t understand that rubber soles need maintainence. Luckily my dealer took care of it and he discontinued all of his dubarry collection, because this was the 3rd warranty issue he had with Dubarry. After reading trustpilot is see Dubarry has bad quality and warranty as standard, for a high price. Soon to be discontinued all around the world I hope. #dontbuydubarry

I've had my Dubarry sailing boots for 13 years and recently experienced a problem with the sole of one of them. Dubarry Customer Services team could not have been more helpful in explaining what had happened and although regrettably my trusty old boots couldn't be repaired the team helped me with the cost of replacing them. They are expensive for good reason because they are the best.

Amber in customer services was amazing. By mistake I ended up with the wrong size boots purchased at Badminton. Totally my error for not checking.
Amber arranged collection the next day and an new pair the correct size was dispatched. All done within 3 days. Amazing.

Can’t believe this expensive brand. Soles leaving the shoe. Rubbish 12 month guarantee. I am not wasting anymore money on this rubbish. I have 3 pair of shoes & 1 pair of sailing boots. Back to Sebago.

I have a number of Dubarry boots and shoes and of late some of the soles will disintegrate, Dubarry are aware of the issue which is age- related so this starts from the day of manufacture, Dubarry will neither fix, nor would they sell me new midsoles. They will fix some of their shoes with this issue but at a cost. Very poor performance from what they call a premium brand. I am very disappointed with their product and service and have referred the matter to the Consumer Affairs Ombudsman. The company now tell me that they cannot supply soles as they are different but after checking this is not the case to me it is exactly the same and I was willing to buy new sole from dubarry before I took this action.

I bought a pair of sailing boots - and they are fantastic, the best I have had - but they developed a leak... What impressed me was the response to the issue, and here I include communication, how they immediately "owned" the issue and the positive resolution.
In short - excellent products with excellent after sales service.

High cost and seem high quality but the stitching at the toes only lasts for around 6 wears. Their customer service department doesn't seem to exist because it completely ignores complaints. Would I buy any more pairs - certainly not

My Dubarry jacket which i had for some time more than a year, one of the rear popper fixings gave way i contacted Dubarry, the support team asked for some photos they promptly replied and sent me a free returns label, the coat arrived the next day at Dubarry, the jacket in my size was no longer available, they supplied me the latest model free of charge this is not what i expected i thought they would repair it as it was very miner, excellent and prompt customer service
