Had my Dubarry Galway boots about four years and they’ve only been worn on several occasions, due to illness. Have worn them twice recently and they have perished under the sole. Which has become detached from the actual boot.
My cobbler shook his head, tutted and said ‘not another pair’ ? He showed me a box with 4 pairs of identical boots in the same state!!! Apparently one lady was offered a 10% discount on another pair!
Why would you buy any more?? I’m not surprised the Dubarry specialist repairers are flat out busy! Such a terrible indictment for what is claimed to be a ‘quality’ product at £350. Hardly a glowing recommendation is it Dubarry?

Just to make people aware don't care for your boots. Wear them all the time and god forbid you have a problem anything over year old they say out of warranty, excuse after excuse. You send them photos with the sole hanging off I was told as i kept in in a box and only worm them in the winter, they were not used enough. Can't win not matter. The last time I buy from Dubarry.com

My first pair of Wexford boots are now over ten years old and still going strong. I bought a second pair for less rough use and after two outings the soles separated. I paid £125 for Dubarry repairs. Last weekend the soles separated again so they’re in the bin. The quality of construction has deteriorated significantly and I will never buy Dubarry again.

I am amazed at the poor quality of the boots. I have a pair of Galway boots which I have looked after as they were so expensive. I was going to wear them recently and the midsole has disintegrated and the sole just flaps around on both boots. I hear from other reviews on the internet that this is a common fault. Shame on you Dubarry, there is a 'Dubarry authorised repair partner' charging £125 - £155 to repair them. That's a good scam - sell a pair of inferior very expensive boots (£379 in John Lewis) knowing that the midsole is going to disintegrate, then set up an expensive repair facility. I have 30 year old £20 boots that haven't disintegrated. Don't waste your money on theses, there are cheaper equivalent looking boots that will last longer. So, do I waste my £379 and throw them away, or Pay £125+ to have them repaired for the same to happen again in a couple of years. Appalling.

1st class customer service.
I had to send back the boots that I bought to be replaced, they received them back on Monday 25th. November on Tuesday 26th November my replacement boots arrived, incredible turnaround time, you can’t get better than that!!
The boots are wonderful so comfortable and the size is spot on so you can buy with complete confidence from Dubarry of Ireland and so nice to be able to phone and get to talk to a kind understanding person!

Due to the London store being closed for a while I wasn't able to try a different size in store. However, Amber from their customer service team was very helpful in organising a prepaid return then sending out the different size to try and reassuring me if it wasn't right they'd send the original size. Very accommodating and friendly customer service.

My Dubarry experience has been exceptional. An initial fault that was not straightforward was sorted super quickly and to such a high standard. I am thrilled with the result.

Dubarry Fastnet boots. Leaked like a sieve so can't use. Did contact them but they couldn't fix as bought s/h. Get that but they shouldn't leak, they'd clearly not been worn.

The customer service at Dubarry is exemplary. I had a broken zip on my handbag, I contacted Dubarry and immediately had a reply together with a free return label and promise of a replacement. Unfortunately the item was discontinued, Dubarry gave me a full refund immediately. I tried to find a stockist that still had one, with no luck. My particular thanks go to Amber who helped me find a retailer that had one in stock. My emails were always answered straight away by her. This I felt was above and beyond good service. Well done.

Having been an avid customer of Dubarry Chelsea Boots for many years, I have recently experienced worsening quality and think I will need to find a new manufacturer. In the latest purchase the rear boot pull split, even though the boot was only just out of the 12-month warranty, no repair was offered. To charge £280 for a pair of boots and not stand behind the quality is disappointing.

After years of having several pairs of there boot I have found the quality shocking of late . I wore a pair that I keep for best to Burghley horses trails this weekend and both soles came away from the boots leading me to purchase boots from another company . I took the boots to the trade stand to be told it will cost me way over £100 to get the fixed when these boots have be worn less than 20 times . But they did offer me a glass of champagne to ease the blow 😤 never again will I be wasting my money on a company that have this type of customer service
