A huge thanks to Duct Mates who came out to clean my Ducted heating vents and pipes. We can definitely tell the difference with no dust or musty smells. I found them to be highly professional and extremely knowledgeable. They have a no nonsense approach with a thoroughness to do the job properly. I did quite bit of research and one thing I've learnt is these guys are a dedicated duct cleaning business, appropriately priced to do a proper job, hence the consistent good reviews. Cleaning any ducts should not be expected to be a quick and easy job as what is required to do so, ultimately impacts your health and well-being as well as a proper or maintenence upkeep of your heating / cooling systems.

The service was done on time, efficiently and with care, where I was given important advice and useful recommendations. As an example I was horrified to see the state if our filters and what we had been breathing through the circulation vents back into our home. Good response to enquiry, home visit was carried out by Gary, a friendly, knowledgeable operator who took time to do a thorough job. Care was taken to protect our house and no mess at all. Very happy with the service and result. I can recommend DuctMates.

Originally I called Jims Duct Cleaning for a quote. They said they didnt have a Tech in my area and said if I liked they could put me in touch with a contractor they outsource to. The contractor 'Duct Mates' called, quoted the job and a booking was made.
On the day of the booking I gave them a call to find out what time they were arriving after the original booked time had passed. A short time later and after some time searching their records I was told the booking had been made for the next day.
I sucked it up despite having proof by way of text message that contravened what they had just told me.
The following day came and I got a text saying the tech was running an hour late. An hour after the revised time (two hours late) he arrived, set up and began cleaning the roof ducts.
At 6pm I checked in to see how he was going. I'm nearly finished he said.
I told him the booking was for the floor vents as well. He said he was only told to do the ceiling ducts. I showed him the invoice which included ceiling and floor ducts. He continued on after sending a few phone messages. the last three floor ducts were cleaned in 20 minutes which I thought was odd considering they were furthest from the unit and the others had taken at least 15 minutes each. I just wanted it to be over and said nothing.
Overall NOT a good experience. I will try another contractor next time.
