"We are experiencing high volume of…

"We are experiencing high volume of calls at the moment"
You are currently 43 in the queue.
No matter when you call!
This implies: They cause so many problems, they can't handle the resulting fallout, they don't employ enough people. Or both.

Tried the website "The online payment arrangement form is not available and may be discontinued altogether.".
They are a JOKE.

edit: Then you finally get through to someone, after waiting an hour. They say they'll call you back tomorrow. And they don't.
This is why places have notices about people abusing their staff. YOU MAKE PEOPLE ANGRY!!

New bins

I'm enquiring when Bredon road will be getting the new blue bins etc. As we've been informed about a £400 fine. The other side of my street already has these but not the blocks of flats

Dudley Council = Useless

Dudley Council = Useless. Council tax has been increased. Bin collections have been halved, and they give us 134 different bins and bags to recycle different materials. I might aswell work for Dudley council at this point. The area is just going to be full of rubbish from fly tippers due to having no room for rubbish anymore. Thanks Dudley. Birmingham 2.0 pending.

Dudley Council are useless

Dudley Council are useless! I am a council tenant and trying to get them to repair anything is near on impossible. Even broken lighting on a flat landing which is a severe danger can’t be fixed by them. Useless!!!!

Councillors need a reality check

Councillors need a reality check. Spe nding money on ideas that isn't going to do any good for the borough. They've also switched off asking about bin collections, because its a week late. This happened before bad weather & now they are blaming bad weather. The roads are dropping apart, with the amount of potholes. They can't even repair them properly. Patched up, long to appear again after a couple of months.

Dreadful experience!!

Dreadful experience!!! The staff is rude, unhelpful and extremely unprofessional! This young lady never introduced herself and spoke to me as if I was violating her personal space!!! Did not resolve any problem. It's absolutely ridiculous and frustrating! How could this even be called " customer service"????

A council that wastes money

Open air cafe in Dudley, pot holes never repaired, main roads littered with new curbs and central gutters in Netherton. This is simply dangerous. Regeneration of brierley hill has amounted to new pavements and gutters but they won't simply admit the reason why towns centres are dismal is due to parking charges and the amount of fast food shops and charity shops. This will never appeal to shoppers in the day. Nevertheless the council give planning permission to these. Im guessing with the amount of staff the council are have they are much more intelligent than the tax payers. This is a disgusting wasteful council you should not be responsible for budgets

A really terrible place to live now

A really terrible place to live now, sadly. I have only been to Halesowen once to shop since the council mistaken re-introduced parking charges. I now mostly visit Stourbridge as I park in Tesco for free. (I do shop in Tesco quite often). Council tax has yet again been increased as the council seems unable to add up and continue to overspend mainly on unnecessary rubbish. For instance they have extended the double yellow lines near to the Corbett Hospital... unnecessary. There used to be quite a few cars that parked on one side of the road, but this rarely caused an issue and several of the cars displayed blue badges so they will still be able to park there. I think its just a ploy to try to get people to pay parking charges which are too expensive. The roads are in a dreadful state. Love Lane near to Mary Stevens Park is full of holes as is Junction Rd in Lye and there are numerous examples of other roads in a similar poor state. Talking of Lye, this has become a dumping ground for eastern Europeans, many of whom are probably illegal and they have turned Lye into a litter-strewn mess. It's also an alcohol free zone, but I have seen people drinking alcohol on several occasions...no-one enforces the rules. Parking restrictions are also badly enforced. I think that one of the reasons the DIY shop closed was due to the poor state of the High Street. None of the surrounding towns are worth visiting now really with the parking charges and poor shops. Stourbridge still clings on as a decent place to shop, but this is declining with banks closing, such as NatWest (not sure why they retain a branch at Merry Hill over Stourbridge).
Council tax is my main gripe, as it's crazy expensive and the council just cannot seem to control their spending, every year it increases even though Keir Starmer promised to freeze it.

Dudley leasure rip off

So disappointed with Dudley leasure service, my wife just joined the gym at Duncan Edwards payed her membership and went there today to have her induction, she had to pay £2 to park for one hour, if she does a class she would have to pay a minimum of 2 hours as the classes are an hour, she was then told she had to pay £11 for a fob. So pay your £31 a month membership if she goes every morning as she had planed to do she would also have to pay a minimum of £60 pound to park that's £91 a month to use a council provided gym, Shame on you Dudley Council. Is it no wonder there are so much obesity. Your making it imposable for Dudley folk to take responsibility to try to keep fit. Needles to say she has canceled her membership before it's even started.

And to add insult to injury if we lived the other side of the road, litrally the other side we would come under the Sandwell council and she would be able to use their facilities to swim free of charge at westbromwich as she's over 60. And inaddition to this when you pay to park when using Sandwells swimming pool you present your parking ticket and get it refunded back to you. Come on Dudley, get your act together and start looking after your tax payers.

If I could have no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would. Patrick Harley is ignorant and does not reply to emails... I sent him an email last year and I had an automated response saying that he was unable to respond as he was away from the office and that he responds to all emails.... over a year later I am still waiting.
Also. my sons ex partner and her son are in dire need of housing and have been for years. The housing officers (one in particular) speak down to her making her cry.
Absolute disgrace of a council. There is a housing crisis and Dudley MBC are auctioning the majority of the council houses that come empty
