I’ve had a very disappointing…

I’ve had a very disappointing experience with Dukascopy Bank.

My account was blocked without any prior notice, yet the bank still allowed me to make a Tether deposit. I have been following up for more than two weeks, and despite repeated messages, there has been no clear update or resolution — even though their support claims such reviews take only 1–3 business days.

This lack of professionalism, transparency, and customer care is unacceptable. I cannot recommend Dukascopy Bank based on how my issue has been handled.

I am back to you, like your salary payable every first of the month (but, better), to leave a bad review, again, for “UNFAIR COMMERCIAL PRACTISES”, as always, ‘cause, to be noticed, these days, and realize, that, this is a serious matter for your company, pain must be felt, right ???!!!
In any case, I have been very busy recently, all last month, and, had not time to look into this disputing, and review your Balance Sheet to find BUGS, thoroughly, so, limiting myself, by leaving this negative comments on now , and, in the future we will see what to do, to solve this, 100 bucks, AR-AR dispute, as, this month SWIFT/CLEARSTRAEM/EUROCLEAR have messed up with me (for real), and giving me hard time, too, so those are priorities for me, to take care of.
This coming month, the “UNIT” is launching $INTEL (Decentralized Intelligence Network), Stablecoin, on Jungle Procol, too, and got to look into it. Very demanding business for me, so, priorities are priorities.
Also, have been very busy suing, a NY NASDAQ listed company, about 100 time the size of yours, for “GROSS NEGLIGENCE, SECURITY BREACHES, UNAUTHORIZED ACCOUNT ACCESS & MISSAPROPRATION, WIRE FRAUD, UNFAIR MAREKTING/COMMERCIAL PRACTIES, LOSS OF INCOMES, WIRE & ELECTORIC FEDERAL FELLONIES”, etc., in all about 37 counts, at the Southern District Court, in Manhattan (Conviction Rate - Guilty Plea, about 90%), so, basically, they are crucified there, being negligent to me with a “Blue Diamond” gone stolen by an “Avatar” called “Le Chat”.
The “Blue Diamond” stolen story, is like a new AR-AR NFT E-Book-in-a-book, itself, almost like, the revised story of the old movie, with Grace Kelly & Cary Grant, “TO CATCH A THIEF, by ALFRED HITCHCOK (1955), and guess, who’s the new character is this new MUST READ, revised NFT E-Book ?
The Author said, it’s you, babe, who inspired him, as you are so beautiful & so intelligent CEO, like a princess, right ???!!!
So, that’s why, I am been very busy flagging you out, recently, on this platform (but, priority, is the 100M bucks lawsuit, of the NASDAQ listed business). Sorry for you.
The Decentralized Intelligence Network (expert in -90% underpriced coloured Diamond, Africa origin), will be sending you over, a screenshot of the beautiful “Blue Diamond” (the one place over the logo of the Free Republic of Liberland), gone stolen, for which, the lawsuit for 100M bucks (the NFT E-Book), has started.
In it, you also gonna see, the “NFT”, we have been talked about before, about what “Naughty Banks” do, pertaining to my complaint to you, as, old version, already, circulating and selling in North America (and, need to be update, properly, by Author), after you have been flagged out for “UNFAIR COMMERCIAL PRACTICES” (plus, more to come).

Review of Dukascopy Bank

I have been a client of Dukascopy Bank for a long time. Throughout this period, the bank has proven to be a reliable financial partner: all services operate smoothly and without any issues. Account opening, payment processing, access to multi-currency operations, and mobile banking are fast and convenient.

One important point to note is that when making international SWIFT transfers, for example from the USA, it is advisable to check for additional correspondent accounts and clarify any applicable fees in advance. This helps avoid delays and misunderstandings.

The only improvement I would suggest is enhancing the user interface for greater intuitiveness and adding the option to generate a direct payment link for clients. This feature would make receiving payments even more convenient.

Overall, Dukascopy Bank fully meets expectations in terms of reliability and quality of service. I sincerely thank the Dukascopy team for their professionalism!

I have dealt with this bank before and…

I have dealt with this bank before and they closed my account and when I asked for the money in it the response was that it was a maintenance fee, it is like a fraud scheme when they think you cannot hire a lawyer in Switzerland to sue them they steal your money but I will do what I can and warn people from manipulating this bank

I have had the worst banking experience…

I have had the worst banking experience of my life with Dukascopy Bank (Customer No. 1435495).

On October 23rd, I received a request for information about a specific incoming transaction. I promptly provided all the requested details. Instead of resolving the matter, a week later, I noticed money being taken from my account without explanation.

Since then, my funds have been held hostage for nearly two months. I have repeatedly contacted customer support and my account manager, but I've been either ignored or told that there are no updates. After pressing customer support, they openly admitted that the compliance team rarely replies to them, leaving me completely in the dark about the status of my funds.

Despite my constant follow-ups, I still have no clear timeline for when this so-called "investigation" will be concluded. The lack of transparency, accountability, and basic communication is utterly unacceptable for any financial institution.

If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, avoid Dukascopy Bank at all costs!

Here they will block your account and…

Here they will block your account and money at any time. The support will not answer you at all. They will treat you like a fool forever. Don't even think about getting involved with this "Bank". Many of us end up hiring a lawyer to try to weigh up the fraudulent activities of Dukascopy Bank that cause harm to the people who have trusted them.

My Name is Siva, Basically I am an Indian, But for Employment purposes I came to Oman and working here, i am trying to open a CFD bank account as well as a trading account. As a requirement i got my passport attestation in Indian Embassy Muscat as well as all my Indian ID cards Copy i sent by DHL courier to Dukascopy head office Geneva. They simply rejected my application, and they said a silly Reason, you are an Indian, but you are working in Oman. so your application is Rejected. What is this? In any sense, they don't have brains and a bunch of fools running this company. not recommended to invest your money with these fools.

I have also Submitted my Pan Card Details for the proof of Tax paying Country as in India. and also Driving licenses and Aadhar Card all of in the same address with my passport which is the Indian embassy attested. Also I have asked them to open with my Indian Address. I told them lots of time I came to stay in Oman for employment purposes only not for getting multiple citizenship. I don't know what the real problem is with opening an account with my Indian address. no sense to Reject without Reasons. simply they are silly. all the positive reviews in trustpilot may be their own employment or they are hiring some paid freelancers to write the positive review. Not Recommended to reach this broker.

AS IMPROVEMENT: A SHORT GUIDE IN THE WEBSITE

The Dukascopy support helped me to find a solution to download historical data. As improvement, I suggest to make available in the website, a very short guide that shows the right parameters to download historical data correctly. I Thank you Dukascopy for the help.

I think it can be better but...

I give for now 3 stars but I reserve the right to change my opinion soon, hopefully for the better. Strategies support was relentless in solving a problem and in this respect it deserved better. However, I have some issues with account management still pending that are taking longer than what would be desirable. Later I will do a new review.

Increasing fees, no help from their support department

Sadly I am seriously thinking of switching banks due to high fees, now even for CHF card transactions.
Initially I was quite pleased to find a Swiss bank that allowed me to quickly open an account even for non-residents. I also like their 911 App.
however I am increasingly unhappy about their fees, especially as there are now cheaper alternatives such as Yuh.
While the account itself is free, every bank transfer is charged at CHF 2,30. For the pleasure of having their card (a debit, not a credit Visa card) they charge CHF 2 per month.
However the final straw for me was that Dukascopy/the card issuer started charging me 2% in fees for CHF card purchases (other card issuers did not charge me) so in total I lost quite an amount in additional fees.
When contacting Dukascopy they said it is not their problem but to contact the card supplier. Initially they gave me a wrong Name (Swiss Bankers) who I contacted. But it turned out that my card was actually issued by Corner, so I needed to contact them.
However, I am disappointed that Dukascopy - who after all charge me regularly for the Visa card - did not contact the Card issuer on my behalf. Surely if "big Dukascopy" contacts the card issuer there is far more pressure there to get this rectified.
I have now started using Yuh and am pleased as there are no fees, for card withdrawals, for bank transfers etc and there is even a small credit interest.
UPDATE 15 April 2023
So, it took Dukascopy customer services around 1 month to respond to my email in response to this review here. (note I originally raised the issue approx 2 months ago) it appears they have not read the email I sent and asked me to contact Cornercard which I had done already 2 months prior with no response. (Email correspondence to Cornercard was forwarded to Dukascopy) So it seems that their so called "customer service" is essentially non existent. I am glad I found Yuh which seems to work well so far and does not charge any fees unlike Dukascopy.

I think their support is basically useless. I had emailed Dukascopy since February, then again emailed all the info twice to support at Dukascopy since they left their response in March but I get one or 2 sentence "fob off" emails asking me to do things that I had already done with no success. Seems that their support are not really able to read emails??. Problem not solved. I now rang Dukascopy to explain the situation, and am waiting with baited breath if anything will come out of this. Very disappointing.
UPDATE 1st July 2023. Nothing has been resolved, no response, useless customer support department, problem still there and now the card that Dukascopy are offering (Cornercard) is not even allowing refunds. AVOID

The worst online bank I've ever seen in my life, stay away.

1) The worst customer support ever.
2) they have the highest fees on the market.
3) I had to wait almost 5 business days to receive just 50 euros from an EU friend, which is horrible because EU transfers are always instant.
4) you can't edit your login info such as email or phone number without manual approval from their customer support and you have to wait several days for that.

They make the online banking experience horrible.

Work to improve and care about client.

Since my last comment here. I can said that I complain about JForex4 that lost flexibility to move SL or TP, when have message box on the button. This was fix and works again.
Have one more thing that I not mentioned and this should be take on consideration. To be correct in this evolution. JForex4 come with a backtest tool. This can be improved of course. It’s free and it is by default. For this 5 starts is fair.
I have another suggestion to do. In my opinion the support should have a real experience in use the platform as a traders and the same for the contest, to really get to the point that the client try to expose. Should be traders too.

bad service

The Worst Bank App

This is the worst bank app ever. Don't download this app if you don't want to lose your money.
This bank rob people off their hard earned money in the name of 'account funding clarification'
They will seize your money even after giving them the required details.
No customer care only bots.

A mystery how this "bank" even exists

A mystery how this "bank" even exists. There is no logical justification for it, it's completely unaccountable, no explanation why stuff simply doesn't work and transactions wouldn't happen. Communication takes months and solves nothing. It doesn't matter if you do everything they ask for, provide all the documents etc. Clearly, it's a common problem, that's been there for years. Simply incredible, how this joke of a company exists.

Stay away from this horrible bank

This Dukascopy shouldn't be considered a bank at all.
Every transaction takes a very long time to be approved manually by a bank employee.

I tried to receive money from a client in the EU ... money arrived the next day but I had to wait extra 2 weeks to see money in my account (waiting for an employee to approve it)

Also they have high fees in all transactions, even their card has $2 monthly fees.

Also, you can't update your info such as your phone number without getting the employee's manual approval.
Oh my God, I waited 2 days to update my phone number.

Also, they said that they have crypto deposits
but they lie as they don't have this feature.
They can add it manually to your account with extra high fees.

This bank is horrible, I feel regret that I created an account there.
Keep in mind they can block your account at any moment without saying the reason for that and you can lose your money.

An online bank should be fast and easy to use but they make the online banking experience terrible.
