Rati and the other mover was amazing! I confirmed even my fragile boxes were taken care of and okay at the end of the move. They were fast and kind and great to work with too. 👏🏾 Been a client of dumbo moving for over a decade!

We have used dumbo for multiple moves, and just used them again to move 3 large items from BK to Long Island.

The two gentlemen arrived 10 minutes early, they were extremely polite and professional, took their shoes off when requested, and were very quick and efficient.

I would give them more stars if I could!

Chino y Miguel kicked ass! Super helpful and quick, nice to work with, and did such a great job. Didn’t break a single thing at all and were very communicative through the whole process.

I would suggest anyone in NYC to book with Dumbo Moving just to get these guys.

Awful experience. Had my move booked May 1st from 1-3. I did not receive any communication once 1pm came so I called. They said it will arrive in-between 1-4. Once 3 came they said they could not get in contact with the movers and were not sure when they were coming. Um sorry? I booked this from 1-3 and the only communication about being late was because I called. I kept calling back trying to get an update and finally around 4 they said they will be arriving around 4:30/4:45. That time past and the time just kept getting pushed farther and farther back and FINALLY they arrived at 6pm. This was NOT due to traffic, they booked too many people in one day and just wanted to get my money. The lack of communication given to me was insane. I started to move half my stuff down because I booked my elevator with my building 1-4. To top it off as I am trying to get a partial refund for this, they said industry standard is $50-$125 for a 24-hour delay. Imagine them being a day late and the only refund you get is $50? Overall awful experience.

Right from the start, Hank provided me with a quick call and through quite with the best price in all of Dutchess County when I met with the moving men they were polite and sweet and so helpful and also complementary to my new home it was very special and meant a lot to me. I will continue to recommend Dumbo to family and friends and I thank them with all my heart. It was a difficult day and they made it so wonderful.

I can’t recommend DUMBO moving enough. They came highly recommended from a friend and I understand why. First, they were so easy to get ahold of. The quote provided online was reasonable and matched the quote given by a live person. The quote was also exactly what we ended up being charged. They accommodated our tight moving timeline two days before it happened (and on the first of the month no less.) There was a slight hiccup with scheduling, but Hank moved mountains and worked late into the night to make sure it happened as planned. He really went above and beyond.

The movers (Johan, truck #46) worked diligently and efficiently to get everything done and managed to handle all of our belongings with extreme care.

Everyone we encountered or interacted with was pleasant and helpful. It really made the whole process easy and took a lot of stress out of a stressful situation! Without a doubt we would use DUMBO again, and recommend them to everyone!!!

This was the worst and most stressful moving experience I’ve ever had. I’ve lived in NY for 10 years and have moved 5 times now. Every other company (piece of cake, rvs, 2 men and truck etc) I worked with was great and very communicative. Dumbo said they would arrive between 1-4pm on move out day and they did not arrive until 7pm. They were unresponsive and unable to provide accurate etas after repeated calls. My storage unit closes at 7pm so I needed to be moved out by then. I had to get my own last minute U-Haul and started moving the items myself. Dumbo moving then arrived at 7pm (3 hrs after my quoted time). I’ve asked for a partial refund on the U-Haul I paid for and have not heard anything back. The movers were nice but management is terrible and rude. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND if you’re looking for a smooth, stress free move. Literally choose any other company!

Dumbo Moving is so worth it, with a great price and the movers are so helpful.

I had a great experience with this crew! They made what could have been a really stressful furniture move feel like a breeze. The guys were super friendly, arrived with a positive attitude, and took amazing care of my belongings.

It was clear they knew exactly what they were doing—they were quick, careful, and honestly just a pleasure to work with. Everything arrived in perfect shape, and they even helped make sure things were set up just right before they left. I’m so happy with the service and will definitely call them again for the next one!

I used Dumbo Moving for the first time on April 28th. I had the best experience. Oscar & John were fantastic. They're Truck #26. Honestly, they were so nice and easy to work with. They moved me out of one storage unit to a new storage location in under 2 hours.

I highly recommend using this company for any of your moving needs.

Paul and David did an outstanding job on my 170 truck. From start to finish, he was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly took pride in his work.
