Stay well clear of this company

Stay well clear of this company. Bought an adjustable bed on the 24/11/24 from Benson for beds in Great Western Glasgow branch. It is now the19/03/25 and I am still awaiting my second replacement drawer. I have covered all angles from Benson for Beds to phoning Dura Beds and hand writing a letter to their CEO who after over a week has not had the decency to reply. The cost was £1426.48 .I am getting in touch with trading standards with regards to this incompetent company and will be seeking legal advice .

Poor quality products and workmanship

Purchased a Dura Bed king divan through a local retailer who sells Dura Beds. The first bed we received had a broken drawer, and overall felt poorly and cheaply made. The local retailer replaced this however the replacement started creaking within the first week and then one of the wooden beams snapped. The third divan was allegedly an'upgrade' however was the same bed with a padded base. It felt equally cheap and again was creaking more than my previous 9 year old divan after only a week. We returned to the retailer to request a refund however they upgraded us to a ottoman. Although this bed feels more solid, the workmanship is very poor - huge staples have been haphazardly placed all over the material to keep it in place, with many coming lose regularly. We will see if this one lasts. The mattress also has a huge ridge in the middle, despite regular turning so time will tell if this gets worse. I would not recommend these beds to anyone.

Terrible Quality and Even Worse…

Terrible Quality and Even Worse Customer Service

I bought a bed from Dura Beds, expecting a good night's sleep but ended up with nothing but frustration. The quality of the bed is absolutely terrible—right after I received it, I noticed a tear in the fabric. For a new bed, I’d expect a lot better, but it was clear that quality control was nonexistent.

When I reached out to customer service, they were completely unhelpful. I explained the situation, sent photos, and even requested a replacement, but they outright refused. Their dismissive attitude and lack of willingness to help left me stunned. I can’t believe I spent my money on this poorly made product only to get zero support.

Avoid Dura Beds if you’re looking for quality or reliable service—this has been one of my worst purchasing experiences.

Dreadful company

Dreadful company. Purchased the beds through Bensons for Beds, another awful company. Cheap quality, not install correctly, no contact from them at all. Still waiting for them to arrange collection and £2500 refund. AVOID

Durabeds’ True Seasons Tencil 1000 Mattress

Durabeds’ Tencil 1000 seasons mattress should be purchased with caution. It is of poor quality despite its initial comfortable feel and look. The stitched ‘button’ supports give way and go baggy within a couple of months. The structure of the mattress is weak, manufactured with layers of memory foam that do not hold together or support well at all. We purchased two and had one replaced, while chancing the other would not go the same way - it did. Both the replacement and the second mattress were eventually returned (August). Such a disappointment and inconvenience for us and the online retailer (who was very agreeable and communicative throughout).
