I have been a DxO customer for several years and own multiple products including PhotoLab 7, PureRAW version 1, and Nik Collection 5 and have been happy with the DxO products.
Recently I replaced two computers that previously had my DxO software activated. Because those machines no longer exist, I opened support ticket #634695 to request a reset of the activation count so I can activate the software on my new computer. PhotoLab 7 did activate successfully.
My DxO account clearly shows the products I purchased along with the license keys and download links. I have also provided screenshots and detailed explanations in the support emails.
Over the past week there have been numerous email exchanges with support, but the issue has not yet been resolved and the responses seem to repeat questions that were already answered.
The request itself is straightforward: I simply need the activation counts reset for software I already own - PureRaw version 1 and Nik Collection version 5..
I like DxO products and have enjoyed using them for my photography. I am hopeful someone from DxO can review ticket #634695 and help resolve this activation reset so I can continue using the software.
UPDATE: DxO reviewed my ticket and reset the activations for my licenses. PureRAW and Nik Collection are now activated on my new computer. Thank you for resolving the issue.

Apart from being the greatest software in the photographic universe, the support team behind DxO is also the best I have ever experienced. There is no doubt I could go on for hours about what the software has done for my photography and how when stuck with a problem, they have emailed solutions.
I have recommended their software to everyone I know on Flickr and will continue to do so, adding just how revolutionary the software is and some how evolves every year or so, to be even better, giving amateur and professional alike the ability to have a freedom to use our cameras and creative minds to their utmost potential.

The noise reduction capability is excellent, but the fact that you can't see the result until saving is a big negative to the workflow.

To long updates for new gear.
The operational logistics are sometimes a bit difficult.

I’ve been a professional portrait and wedding photographer 39 years now, and now had DxO software for the past 15+/- years…. My most recent primary editing computer finally decided to take its last breath after many many dedicated years. I’m making my new purchases I had to also upgrade my antiquated software and the assistance I received from DxO in getting everything current and up and running went far more smoothly than I was expecting… Thx for the help!

DxO Photolab 9 has the best noise reduction and precision editing, no doubt. But ease of use and organization compared to Adobe Lightroom is just not there. I can get better results quicker and easier with Lightroom. PL9 cannot handle panoramas desired in many landscape photos. Masking is far better than it used to be but is still short of Lightroom that can reconize facial features and has many default presets for masks. Object removal is a clone only option in PL9 as it has no AI content aware ability. PL9 has no facial recognition useful for finding family members and others among 1000's of photos in the photo library or catalog. Finally, PL9 takes a long time to load previosly edited images (probably because it has to read edits back into the RAW file from the sidecar or .dop file).

I've been using this software since December of last year. I've never used other software, so I can't compare it to other software, but I've been using it without any major issues.
It's really helpful to be able to make corrections and remove noise from multiple photos at once, like batch processing.
The distortion correction is applied based on the camera and lens combination, and I'm amazed at the difference when I see the before and after results.
I'm an amateur photographer, so I take photos as a hobby. I have a limited budget, so I appreciate the fact that I can purchase it as a one-time purchase.
Regarding this request for opinions, I would like to point out that as I'm Japanese, it may be difficult for me to respond to this page in English.

Photolab9 is best Programme in the market. Easy to use, using masks is really unique.

I sometimes treat new versions of established software with a bit of caution because I've found at times it's only been change for the sake of change.
Couldn't actually find the Download button for PureRAW 6 Trial so took a chance that 6 would be better and worth the money.
Good thing was it didn't replace 5 in the computer - 1st step therefore was good. I had the old version if needed.
I found however that DXO seemed to have improved on what they had. 6 SEEMS to do better at Noise Reduction in that some fine details, often lost in NR, were better resolved.
NR itself SEEMS to be smoother but importantly you do still have control over how much.
One thing though that still isn't perfect is fine detail resolution in High ISO NR in low or very little light.
That said though, I don't have Lightroom or Photoshop which I think may clean up fine details.
I'm generally opposed to subscription software especially now, given the very high prices being demanded. Even Topaz have now gone this way.
I have a very old PS Elements which takes care of other required photo work.
Perhaps I'm missing out but I cannot justify those costs and very much rely on PureRAW, which in any event, does an otherwise brilliant job of cleaning up ISO noise AND creating decently sharp images.

Dislike the way landscape thumbnail images are truncated in the left hand preview window.

DxO Software does rival Adobe Lightroom Classic in many ways, but the most significant has to do with no need to create a library. That, alone, makes the software superior to LRC.

I was having a problem with my Nik 4 tools and thought I'd do an uninstall/reinstall to see if that helped. I then thought I had problems doing the reinstall, but it turned out to be operator error (my fault). I sent a note to that effect and got a nice response telling me not to worry and to feel free to contact them any time I needed. Nice experience all around, the reinstall worked great, and I'm a happy camper!

I genuinely wanted to use DxO PhotoLab, and from what I’d seen, it looked like it could have been excellent software. Unfortunately, I never even got the opportunity to try it properly.
The download link provided simply didn’t work, and despite contacting support, the issue was never resolved. More disappointing than the technical problem itself was the response from the help desk. The replies felt dismissive and unhelpful, and there was no real effort to fix what should have been a straightforward issue.
Software problems can happen — that’s understandable. What’s harder to overlook is poor customer service. First impressions matter, and in this case, the support experience prevented me from even reaching the stage of evaluating the product.
It’s a shame, because the software may well be very good — but I’ll never know.

DXO NIK COLLECTION, A bit difficult to use. However the end product was very good. I might try it a bit later. Thank you. The DXO Pure Raw however is excellent, easy to use and does everything I want done. I load 50-60 photos and let it do its thing. Every 6 seconds a photo is done. I love it.

DXO PL9 is - has always been - the best RAW file processor.
It continues to offer the very best sharpening and colour control of any of the relevant programs. It has an easy to follow, intuitive interface and you buy it outright; no more being at the mercy of the subscription system.
It has fallen somewhat behind in masking, imo, but in every other area absolutely excels.

Currently my Pure Raw 5 was working fine, of which I’ve had for best part of 6mths. Anyway, along came the update, of which will not install. The same problem also, for the Nik Collection. So decided to uninstall, and try to re-install via the DXO Website, to which of no joy. So is it a case, they don’t want you using it on the latest OS, to force purchase of Pure Raw 6? Seen a rumour of a upcoming release maybe? And it’s strange that suddenly, non of their software, will download on the recent Tahoe OS on iMac. Customer support replied numerous times, with various suggestions to help them. But I pull the plug, when they want you to provide a support code. That provides the information, for anyone to get access to your machine. Shouldn’t even get this far. Strangely my iMac is downloading/installing perfectly, from all other reputable sites. I’ve ran Apple Diagnostics, gone top to bottom with configurations etc. My machine is fine. I’ve requested a refund, of which they appear to be steering away from. To mention also, two contradictory emails. One stipulating everything is ok their end. To then secondly, myself again providing a support code, to speed up things internally? But yet their end is fine? Apparently also, they’ve not received the information from myself. Unbelievable!
