I migrated from my Intel iMac to a new Mac Book Pro and some of my PS plug ins were not working properly, including my NIK suite.
I contacted them and they quickly told me how to get it working. Thank you.

Following an error made by myself on installing DxO gave me loads of help. They were very patient with someone who is not technically minded and the problem was finally resolved. Many thanks

I'm a new DxO Photolab 9 user. As a French-speaking Belgian, I submitted a request explaining my problem (in French) and received a response the same day. DxO then asked me to download a "diagnostic" program, run it, and send them the results. It's not completely resolved yet, but there have been improvements, and DxO is still in contact with me. All this to say that their support is very real and responsive.

I had been confused about how Pure Raw produced their DNG from Lightroom and they gave a helpful, detailed explanation.

Well designed and documented applications. They are all regularly updated, so you know that DxO is managing and supporting them.

I tried PureRaw and PhotoLab 9. I was very impressed with both. I was looking for a substitute for Adobe Photoshop as I don't want to be locked in to a subscription. Photography is a hobby for me. I am still working with Photoshop CS6 from 2010 and I think PhotoLab 9 is just the perfect solution. I will buy as soon as I see a Canadian Discount for the software.

I recently asked DXO support to obtain the possibility to re-install my relatively old DXO photolab 2 and Nik Collection 3 on my new computer. The online DXO website did not allow that for the product being too old but DXO support did the necessary so that it was possible. They were very reactive and comprehensive.

Good, stand-alone software (no subscription). The Nik Collection is very good; Silver Efex is the standard. Pure Raw, Film Pack, and Viewpoint are excellent modules.
I use it regularly. I don't use LR.
Only con is no support for the Leica Monochrom.

I love "import-less" workflow (working directly with files on disk), categorization and filtering options, the power of the denoise algorithms is unmatched, I appreciate the support for new cameras and lenses and the correction capabilities of DxO PL9.
What I do not appreciate so much about DxO PL9 is the inability to apply an arbitrary lens correction module which makes the module ecosystem useless for manual lenses. I also do not like the fact when copying adjustment settings that I cannot select which ones to copy and then paste them without further hassle to other photos. The option for selection should be on both sides, like in Darktable. The options for detail enhancements (local contrast, sharpness in particular) are not nearly as good as in Darktable; in fact, bad details handling of PL9 forces me to export all photos to TIFF and process them in Darktable and only then export them to the final format. The UI ergonomics of PL9 is also not very good - needlessly complicated keyboard shortcuts which you cannot change, very easy ways to screw up your work (logged a ticket about it and was told it is expected behavior)... Overall, I feel DxO are trying too hard to simplify the UI at the expense of usability. I think the hard work of digital dark room is done extremely well and I love the PL9 capabilities; it would be great if the UX did not try to please people who want the editing experience of Google Photos. After all, PL9 is for professionals, right?

I am coming from Lightroom 5.7/6.4. I have tried ON1 Photo raw. I'm in day 12 of my DXO PL-9 30-day trial.
I am impressed so far. The DXO PL-9 Interface is very easy to use. The geometery corrections are very nice. Noise reduction on Raw images is awesome. The Image retouch control is similar to Lightroom but much better implemented in PL-9, I love that you can change the orientation of the retouch area - kudos to DXO team. I do not want AI retouch, it should be Content Aware but not replacing a scene with random people or buildings. ON1 's image retouch is horrible, they couldn't fix it despite my several calls with their team. I still have more learning to do. My wish for improvements/additions to DXO PL-9:
(1) Add Deeprime or better noise reduction for jpg and Tiff images. (2) Add image panorama stitching, so it's all done in Photolab.

I use DXO PureRAW and the NIK collection and am very happy with both. PureRAW does a fantastic job of noise reduction although I would like it if there was more control over the outcome. The NIK collection is great for putting the finishing touch on photos. The DXO support is excellent.

Amazing app and maybe even more remarkable support staff.
DXO has never failed me. It's my #1 go-to app for my photo work. With all the possible add-ons, there are no legitimate competitors.
DXO is a marvel, and all photographers and graphics workers need this in their arsenal of tools.

I‘ve already been very satisfied with DxO products since I changed from another major product due to the exceptionless change to a subscription model of that respective supplier.
A couple of days ago there was a bug in an update of Photolab which was related to my specific hardware. The case I opened at DxO support has been handled exceptionally well and fast. Soon another update was issued which solved my problem. I‘ve been informed by DxO as soon as that update has been available.
Simply great!
