I purchased a scooter from Dynamic…

I purchased a scooter from Dynamic Scooter on July 7, 2025. I never received an order confirmation email, invoice, or any return policy instructions. When I contacted them on July 20 asking for help returning the scooter, they delayed, misunderstood my message, and later refused a return because it was “outside the 7-day window.”

Their customer service enforced a hidden 7-day policy I was never informed of. They even tried charging me $55 for return shipping.

This was my first e-scooter purchase, and the experience was a nightmare. I’ve since seen others online with similar complaints. This company shows a clear pattern of avoiding accountability. Buyer beware.

Scammed on Return Policy

This was my first time buying an electric scooter. DS focuses on portability and foldability which is what I was looking for. After trying one for a few days it was an ok product, but I wanted to return it because it was still too heavy and unwieldy for me. I guess the technology just isn't there yet.

One of the reasons I took a risk on this small company was because on their site it said you could return the scooter worry-free within 30 days. I contacted them within 14 days of delivery with my return request.

I was told that "handling returns still presents some challenges in our logistics process" and was offered $75 CAD to keep the scooter. I can understand the logistics issue, but you have to be upfront about not offering returns, not lying on your website about them.

After replying and asking for $400 CAD if I was to keep the scooter (full price was $550 CAD) I was ghosted. I know I'm not going to use the scooter so getting back most of the money seems fair to me. Especially since I was lead to believe they would offer a return in case this situation was to happen.

I don't appreciate being roped into buying a product under a false illusion that I can return it if I don't like it. Very disappointed.
