Technical support

My solar panels were installed by Dynamis in 2022. I have had to call for technical assistance a few times. It has been so helpful dealing with the same person over the years. I just wanted to thank Ryan for his brilliant technical support again in 2026, helping me solve the issue I had with the app. You are a credit to your company!

Absolute Clowns

They provided our air source heat pump and end to end its been one of the most cowboy experiences I've ever had. First of all they installed the heatpump in the wrong location and had to remove it and reinstall in a new location. When they installed it, they didnt make the pipes watertight, and left a pipe leaking, dripping on to our properties fuse box (luckily I spotted that one before it shorted the entire house).

Also as part of our agreement with them we shouldve received annual servicing of the heatpump, 6 years later and theyve conducted 1 service. Our heatpump has now stopped working, judging by the error code primarily due to not being serviced. We notified them of this problem 4 days ago and they still dont know when theyll be able to come and take a look at it. Its December and we've had no heating for 4 days with no resolution in site.

Oh, and because when they installed it they didnt actually set the heat pump up properly, and didnt even tell us about the various settings, its been running really inefficiently for the last 6 years, meaning its been costing us about 40% more in electric to run.

Absolute clowns.

Helpful, quick & thoughtful service, excellent!

Shocking

Shocking heat pump install from poor install with Multiple issues through to aftercare. I’m now in double figures with visits for repair works.(when they turn up) The systems still faulty, after enduring two weeks of constant - temperatures with 3 children I’ve had enough. After saying I want the system removed and my money back i just get referred to a finance partner who informed me I’ll be breaking my contract with the renewable heating grant and will be charged over £7000 if I remove the system.

From start to finish, a professional service with great customer service

From start to finish the whole experience of getting our solar panels fitted by Dynamis could not have been more straightforward. The advice given at the initial survey was brilliant. the logistics of arranging the scaffolding and the installation was simple. The scaffolders were professional and friendly. The installation team were fantastic. The back office team were brilliant in terms of their customer service. People came when they said they would, did what they said they would do, and when ever we had a question, our phone call was answered immediately and we were kept up to date on what was happening throughout the whole process. If you are thinking about having solar panels fitted, we would highly recommend you have a chat with someone from Dynamis.

Avoid at all costs

Contracted under the Solar Together scheme.

Cancelled solar survey on multiple occasions (once with less than one working day's notice) resulting in loss of earnings due to time off work. Later they cancelled the survey altogether providing no estimate for when they could work in the area, resulting in inconvenience and stress.

Ultimately they pulled out of the Solar Together scheme altogether quoting "staffing issues": To qualify as a supplier for the scheme they must first demonstrate capacity to deliver!

Claim was that the contract was now immediately cancelled, i.e. no further duty to customers, contrary to the scheme's Terms and Conditions which require 5 days written notice.

Dynamis delivered brilliantly for me

Dynamis delivered for me following a failure by another firm. Dynamis are superb.

Their speed of visit, consultation, design and build is brilliant. I have had a 6 panel solar system and 3kw battery brilliantly installed in July 2023. Of note is how additional electrics and wiring in order to complete the install, came at no extra cost.

The monitoring app is super simple, and all comms have been clear and timely.

Great value installation and I am already investigating adding another battery.

The Dynamis Installation. Despite some earlier cancellations of…

Despite some earlier cancellations of installation dates, the system worked very well once we got started. Everyone turned up to do their bit. The scaffolders built an amazing construction which allowed the installers very easy access for running the cables. The panel team had the panels in place very quickly. Next day the installation team came and fitted everything in the day despite the heat. Meanwhile the bird protection team came that afternoon and netted all the edges. The installers explained everything at the end of the afternoon. It all went really well and they system is now fully functioning. I'd recommend the whole group.

Wouldn't recommend them to change a light switch

I wouldn't recommend Dynamis to change a light switch. They did a solar panel installation through SolarTogether and I very much regret using them.

Delays over delays, and mistakes at every step of the way. They submitted the wrong details for DNO approval, discovered it the day before they were supposed to connect the panels, then tried to blame me for changing the design (I hadn't).

No one ever called before coming to the house. Rubbish was left outside my house for months. Rubbish left inside everywhere, not even bothering to pick up screws or cut cable ends. They sent the electrician but forgot to send the batteries. They then send the batteries but with the wrong connectors.

Scaffolding was up for months, I was told it must stay up until the installation is complete so they can check everything is ok. Then, 2 days before the panels were finally due to be connected, they take the scaffolding down, without any explanation. Then of course we find out that one of the panel strings wasn't connected properly and scaffolding may have to go back up.

I once called an entire day without anyone ever picking up. Someone takes your message but no one ever calls back. I had folks leave me their direct number, but they never picked up, never returned any call or message.

I could go on and on with these examples. All in all, the installation that was allegedly going to take a day started somewhere mid Jan and finished somewhere mid March. The scaffolding was allegedly going to be on the house for no more than 2 weeks, I think it was on for 8.

I would have given them two stars if at least the system was all fine, but despite contacting them twice to tell them that my panels trip the fuse, no one has bothered to get back to me (today it has been 2 months since I first told them about the problem).

Do yourself a favour and avoid them!

Well done Dynamis! Brilliant job!

Overall Installation went smoothly and schedule date was met with a couple of minor issues with materials not being delivered

The more significant issue was that the solar panels were initially installed based on an out of date design. The issue was however dealt with brilliantly and expediently by Mark Wright who personally took charge of the situation and proactively followed up every subsequent step of the process to ensure the experience was positive. Furthermore when we changed our minds to add on extra panels Mark also dealt with it brilliantly.

I would also like to highlight Courtney Smith who was a fabulous communicator and really made the process much easier and clear. Up to that point communication had not been adequate and it was very hard to track down status or speak to someone about our order. Contact numbers or emails were not always answered and before Courtney was involved we had to escalate several times. This is definitely bringing down the overall customer experience and should be addressed.

The installation team were all great and very professional/ easy to deal with.

We are extremely pleased with the final product and assuming communications gaps are addressed we would definitely recommend Dynamis Associates to friends and family.

80% reduction in electricity consumption from the gird

The install went really well, good organisation and communication etc. and so far I am very impressed with the savings I am making. The system was installed on 17th March and as of today, 9th May, my electricity consumption from the grid has fallen by 80%. I appreciate that the saving won't be that good through the Autumn and Winter but I expecting an annual saving of 50%+. My only recommondation would be to ensure you have enough battery capacity for the summer, 7kWh for me is an absolute minimum.

Dynamis Solar Panel Fit

Dealing with Dynamis was fraught with difficulty from day one, I hardly know where to start? The company appear to rely on several sub contractors, none of whom appear to talk to each other? The scaffolder's blocked off access to two garages prior to the fitting despite leaving notes for them to leave the doors clear. The 'one day fix' promised ran into SIX weeks. Equipment, ie. solar panels were late arriving & fitting proceeded into the dark evening, then had too be removed later as 'optimiser' fitting was overlooked! The fitters managed to break at least a dozen tiles & ruptured the roofing felt into the bargain. Water poured into our lounge during heavy rain, fitters didn't visit again next day as promised but arrived the following day, late evening. The hole in the felt was discovered several days later & patched, the solar panels had then been on & off many times destroying half of the bird netting in the process. The batteries were initially fitted onto oil soaked carpet preventing vehicle access to the garage & masking boiler drain off valve, not as promised behind the brick pillars. The fitters response to my query 'well nobody puts their car in the garage these days!'
I believe the equipment seems to be working well now but I have to say, 'there must be more reliable firms out there who can carry out this work without all the heart ache & damage to property that 'Dynamis' created on my home? Best avoided

Avoid Dynamis like the plague

I engaged Dynamis to fit a battery to my existing solar PV installation after a local authority iniative. The initial install went well and the battery was installed promptly and well. That's when the problems began. Firstly they didn't change the meter (or even advise that it needed changing) meaning that immediately from the installation date, I became ineligible for FIT payments. Unfortunately I had submitted a fit reading just before the battery install date so it was 3months before I found this out. Dynamis were less than useless and didn't have a clue about any of this. I managed to find out (from EDF) that I needed a new (bi directional) meter which I had to buy and install from my own pocket. Further to this the schematic they supplied (a requirement for EDF to start paying fit payments again) was incorrect and I have been trying for weeks to get this updated. I managed to speak to dynamis once, all other times calls went to an outsourced switchboard with never-honoured commitments to call me back. I only ever received anonymous emails. There seems to be zero care or accountability for customers that they have left high and dry.

I did finally get to a call from someone and initially had hopes of resolution. I even spent time explaining what meters (eg the model) were needed to sort the issue. I received more assurances of follow ups and such but have had to chase and chase.

It's all so frustrating. Everyday that I'm waiting for correct (basic) information that they are obliged to procide is costing me money.

Very pleased with my solar installation

I had solar panels installed at my house a few weeks ago. I am very happy with the system and how it is performing. The installation was conducted by a courteous and professional team. All the relevant documentation and warranties were received shortly after installation. Pre and post installation communications were excellent. There were a few months lacking communication between the site visit and issue of a design, but to be fair, this coincided with supply difficulties for the industry as a whole, but could have been handled better. The process from registration to a site visit was very good.
