We have booked accommodation in Paris for early October--- paid our deposit in March. The Final Payment, due 22nd Aug has still not been taken out of our Paypal. Emails to e-domizil and associated company Homes to Go have NOT been replied to. We are concerned we have been scammed and now will have to book somewhere else only 4 weeks out. NOT HAPPY and obviously our deposit is gone

The price for the house offered was 50%lower than the price I received in the invoice and I shall now pay and even though I cancelled immediately, I still not have received a cancellation confirmation and was told there would be cancellation fees I have to pay.. for a scam offer?!
I am greatly missing a prompt solution and customer service.

The platform was easy to use but the processing could be more efficinet.

I booked via another website and ended up receiving invoices from edomezil.
They are scam artists and will pressure you into paying more and are very manipulative.
I've read the responses from them on the truspilot platform and its clear to me that they deliberately make everything as focusing as possible to scam you with cancellation fees and rebooking fees that you never agreed to (since you booked via another platform).
100% regret not booking via a reputable source and I will never ever book outside Airbnb or the popular booking platform again because of my experiences with these clowns.

I booked a villa and I paid the deposit. Later after 3 months e_domizil sent me reminder for the payment. But since I booked the villa via HometoGo, I missed the emails from e-domizil (for me it was unknown). 3 weeks before our trip I got an email that my booking is cancelled and I have to pay 80% of the total rent!!
I sent many emails and called the call center for help. I wanted to pay immediately to fix the issue.
But the answer from help desk was:
"In fact the villa is still free in your requested period but the landlord doesn't want to rent it and also he asks for the cost of cancellation which is 384€!!"
Tell me please if this is not called SCAM then what it should be called. Why should I pay the cancellation cost while I am not the one who cancelled the reservation but e-domizil?
I had very good experience with different travel companies like Booking.com, Airbnb , ... never had any problem.
Is there any appropriate marketing model here or any logic to be explained?
I don't recommend this platform to anybody who would like to book a travel destination smoothly without any stress.

While the booking proceedure as such was a very user-friendly experience, I would have loved to have an additional "free text field" somewhere in the booking formular where I could have submitted all the remaining questions and topics from my side.
Also: while I understand that one should always book at least 6+ nights, it's a pity that one cannot book time windows ranging from a Thursday onto a Saturday in the following week (10 days). A bit more flexibility in the arrival date would be fantastic.

I am in the middle of my booking process with edomizil / Home to go and have found it concerning. They are very quick to take payment but I am constantly having to follow up for information regarding the booking. There have been numerous issues along the way. The accommodation is booked for August. I just hope it works out.

Absolute scam artists. Booked a holiday for a family with a disabled kid. They were called tui villas so automatically thought tui. Na, shoukd have done my homework. Paid deposit. Then found bad reviews. 15 phone calls, nothing, no answer. Changer the name and never informed anyone. Didn't reply to emails. Bank transfers for payments is a red flag so managed to get 1 reply as I said I was about to cancel. Asked for a credit card link as I would be covered that way. Sent a form to update debit card details. Absolute sham of a company. Robbed of my £580 deposit. Had to book my holiday again with a real company. If I could give zero stars I would have. Do a bit of digging and find out all the shady company's they they are linked to. DO NOT BOOK A HOLIDAY THROUGH THIS COMPANY, YOULL REGRET IT.

The flat was described in great detail and the pictures are informative. The booking system is easy to use and the confirmation was very quick.

E-domizil answered my bad comments by saying we found an agreement. The agreement was to receive 80€ in return for the inconvenients. This amount is ridiculous compared to the +1500€ we paid for the house (for which we didn’t have the keys for the first night) and the 140€ we paid for bedlinnen we never received. Above all, they weren’t even able to send the right amount after the « agreement » (I received 75€). Again, avoid absolutely e-domizil, they’re not even able to take responsability for their mistakes.

Absolutely do not use this company. They are connected to unreliable booking websites, take your money then do not make your booking. Totally ignored when trying to contact them. They are connected to Casamundo that turns out to be a completely unreliable company. You have been warned..

Appalling accomodation. Rude and offensive host. Bats and bat excrement in childrens bedrooms. Broken lighting. Foul filthy toilets. Dangerous broken staircases and flooring. Threatened by host.
We paid up front months in advance, for what we thought was good and safe accomodation. TOTALLY different home given at same cost. Booking agent informed of the service and appalling accomodation, but nomoney returned even though we shared with the administrator how unhealthy and unhygienic the property was. We were informed by the host how lucky we were to have accomodation.
Very, very disappointing experience. We will not be using this booking site again and communicating family in Aotearoa and Europe the danger of using this service.

Finally booked something in northern Italy via the HomeToGo platform (20/06/2023) through their partner e-domizil.de in Germany.
I had saved 2 houses as possible options in My Favorites from HomeToGo. After booking it turned out that I had booked the wrong house. I immediately called the Dutch client service of HomeToGo to tell them that I had made a mistake and that I wanted to cancel this bookin! I received an e-mail from the Dutch client service to which I had to react and to confirm that I wanted to cancel this house.
So within 1 hour I already received a response from the Dutch client service that my booking had been canceled. So I thought everything was settled now and I made a new reservation but now with the correct house.
So my surprise and shock were great when I heard the next day (21-06-2023) that according to the conditions of e-domizil I am obliged to pay 50% of the booking costs (i.e. 600 euros) and another 36 euros in reservation costs. Of course I refuse to pay this, at the most I am willing to pay that 36 euros, but I'm really not going to pay 600 euros for something that I immediately canceled / so for nothing.
When I contact the client service of e-domizil.de their only repsonse is: Unfortunately, we are also bound to the contracts with the individual partners, so that a cancellation is only possible according to the general terms and conditions.
By the way, I only received the general terms and conditions when I had already made the reservation. I received the general terms and conditions in English and a Dutch translation. I only read the section on canceling in the Dutch version of the general terms and conditions. In the Dutch version I can nowhere find any mentioning of 50% cancelation costs within one hour after booking.
In my opinion this is an outrageous policy of e-domizil just because I made a mistake. A mistake which I corrected within one hour but they still force me to pay €636. The next day after I canceled I already received a cancelation bill and they wrote in bold letters that I had to pay immediately.
This is so rude and client unfriendly. My advice: stay away from this site and if you still want to book via e-domizil.de, double check your booking before sending it.
If it was up to me I wouldn't give any stars but the minimum is one star.

I dealt with Domizil.de I DO NOT recommend !!! We had to cancel our booking 47 days prior to departure as our mother got sick and subsequently died . They did not sympathise , they simply looked for 1000 euro more as our cancellation was less than 50 days prior ....and as I was otherwise distracted with the grief of my mother passing they then sent me a solicitors letter !!! STAY CLEAR OF THEM !
Yesterday I send a email about our horrible vacation.
I don,t expect any reply because I read on the internet in other revieuws that you give a standard reply on the complaints en asking about the bookingnumber. Our Bookingsnumber is above..The email I wrote was in dutch language. This house should not be for Rental. It is in Renovation!
It was not in good state and I ended up by the doctor. We went home a week before the end of the vacation was over.
I don,t think your Organisation checks the houses what we pay for. We had a difficult time with two deaths in the family..so we were ready for some relaxation. It turned out differently unfortunaly..
Never again with this organisation...

Price very low , but after payment appartments not avalaible, seems hard to get money back. The company owns many websites in different countries like vacatello.com in NL and casevacanza.it in Italy or feries.com . The main website of the company is ehr.ag registered in Antigua and Barbuda which is tax and legal heaven country.
