I am 88 and needed a bike that I could ride easily and then fold into the boot of my car. The E Go lite with its small wheels makes it easy to get on and off and fits easily in my small car. The bike has been very good since I bought it 2 years ago but more importantly, the customer support is excellent when things don't quite go to plan. This bike has been used nearly every day since its purchase and it has been great really light and easy to fold. There have been a few issues but customer service is excellent and these have been sorted quickly. I can't recommend this product enough..

Ordered two Ego-Step in black. Great looking bikes and ride really nicely and got quite a few positive looks/comments on their first outing. Also great communications from Glenn both before and after delivery. However, it would be useful if the bikes had been quality checked before dispatch as there were problems with a bent gear guard which prevented the full range of gears being selectable, one of the seat posts would gradually slip down whilst being ridden and the hole for fitting the front mudguard had not been fully drilled through and had to do this myself. Only minor issues and easily rectified by myself - but shouldn't have been necessary on bikes costing over £1500

Bike arrived within a couple of days all present and correct. Email responses on questions were same-day, and often in the evening, Glenn clearly works very hard!

Gets me up most Leeds hills I have tried it out on so far, though a bit bone-shaking on the bridleways above about 8mph, although honestly that's plenty fast enough for everyone's safety given the abundance of walkers and horses on some routes.

Instructions are a combination of some that are printed in the box but you also do need to go to the website and download the PDFs for the full assembly guides. Be aware some times the PDF imagery doesn't quite match what's in the box in terms of washers and where they need to go. If in doubt, email e-Go.

After test riding the e go max I was in love! The bike is honestly incredible , the gears are super smooth and the motor really helps with peddling. The customer service was really good and Glenn let me pick it up with 12 hours notice! It’s a nice touch to include a tool kit also incase you need to do any maintenance etc. Here’s to many miles of cycling! Will definitely be back in the future :)

Fantastic product, I bought an e-go lite. I already own a different brand fold up bike with 20 inch wheels but it is heavier and bulkier than the e-go lite, which I can put in the boot of my car more easily and it takes up less room.
When the bike arrived I had to attach the bike rack and mud guards which I was warned was going to be fiddly and it was but achievable!
I love my new bike, it is lovely to ride with or without power, and is very easy to fold up.
The battery is under the seat and is easy to charge, I have bought the battery lock for extra security and peace of mind!
Excellent communication, shortly after making my online purchase I received information as to when my bike would arrive and also instructions as to how to assemble it- unfold it and attach mudguards!
The delivery was very quick it arrived within 2 days of purchase.
As with any new bike there are always things that you need to ask about.I was very impressed with the company's after sales help an email requesting help was quickly responded to and the problem solved.

I owned an e-go Lite for three and a half years and re-discovered cycling. The excellent performance kept me sane during the lockdown periods and proved a very good purchase. A desire to extend my riding distances brought me to the decision to upgrade. My inclination was to go for the e-go Max, but being aware that the e-bike market had considerably expanded, I duly investigated all the options. This resulted in a shortlist which included the Max.
Price, battery power and construction were the main parameters. The long and short of it was that the Max topped the list in all quarters. Finally, the fact that I had proven experience of e-go’s build quality and the superb support provided by Glenn and his team resulted in the purchase of the Max.
I have now covered sixty-four miles with light use of the pedal-assist [setting 3 for start-off and mainly 0 or 1 for riding], with occasional use of 2 for gradients and headwinds. Riding has been mainly on the flat where I live, so I haven’t tried any steep hills yet. That said, the Shimano gearing is excellent on its own! The first charge has taken me over a distance of 62 miles [99.8 kms] and the battery level indicator is still showing one bar, but I want to charge the battery fully because I’m doing a long ride tomorrow.
If you are looking for a folding E-bike at a reasonable price to do longer runs than a short commute to work, the e-go MAX is perfect and I’d look no further. I love it Glenn!

I bought a package of 2 max folding bikes for myself and my wife. We are both overweight and I felt the extra strength of the max would be a wise choice. I wanted a folding bike so that I could easily store and transport the bikes in the boot of my car. I was required me to put down the seats in my Nissan qashqai because they are quite large, but happy that they fitted. The experience of cycling on the bikes is good they do everything I want them to do and everything that was promised. My only grumble is that the bikes are very heavy and couldn't be lifted by my wife for instance. Also the bikes needed to be tightened up after each bite ride in different places each time. I would definitely spend sometime tightening everything when you get the bikes

The bike and delivery was great apart from it was delivered to the invoice address and not delivery but happy with everything else .

Customer experience was excellent. Bikes are really good, fold up small, don’t weigh too much and the battery seems to be pretty good so far. Had a lot of fun on them. Would thoroughly recommend.

Had bike a week, delivery on the day but offered no choice of delivery time with courier! Not that hard to put rack and mudguards on but could be easier with simply video clip. Again instructions not the best re bike operation but simple once you get the hang of it. Great fun ride and looks good for moment.

Glenn was easy to deal with, could not have been more helpful, and gave me a great package for a pair of bikes. I would certainly buy from him again
