Never received my order at all and was charged multiply times in one day and then the order never turned up.

The Eaglemoss 1/8 scale Build the…
The Eaglemoss 1/8 scale Build the DeLorean series is a really fascinating model to build.
It is a complex model with some really quite tricky aspects to assembly and to ensure successful operation, particularly around the electrics.
In fact I am having a second go at building the model (expensive choice) but I am now much more aware of the huge volume of on-line modelers who have also built this model. It is really helpful to follow their experiences and how they have tackled the detailed completion of each stage of the build.
One of the biggest challenges first time around for me was when components did not fit easily and could be damaged by poor man-handling or where the wrong screws were included in the kit or there was some error or differences in the instructions from the parts provided.
However, with care and second sight on my re-build, I have found most of the problems encountered so far possible to 'engineer' a satisfactory solution.
It will test you as a modeler but it is still huge fun, even second time around

I like this partwork just a few things that can be irritating like too many led wires that are tricky to plumb through while fitting deckplates which can cause light leakages between deckplates as deckplates don't always sit right which leads to light leakages and wires that can be pinched slightly that impede the lighting up of certain leds but with some modding fixing it.
The other irritation is the amount of insane batteries that this partwork will require definitely needed to be usb so you could mains power it.

I like Eaglemoss because every time i called them they have sorted my issue out straight away, and if i have had a broken bit they have replaced which is really good. My husband is really enjoying making Ecto 1 and every time there comes a thing to buy extra issues he is up for that. I am very pleased with how quickly i get my issued sent and how i get an email to tell me when the issues is going to be shipped.

Poor model for the price
I was very excited to begin this build, but that excitement quickly wore off.
The Enterprise D build from eaglemoss is not the screen accurate model as claimed and I know that ship from bow to stern.
The lighting system is needlessly over-engineered and sometimes requires a 3 handed person.
Placing clear and opaque windows one by one is extremely tiresome, especially when you have to repeat the same process on the same panel several times as they pop out when you try to install the reflector panel and leds.
The gaps between the panels are atrocious and cause major light leaks, especially the Cobra Head neck section which has a 2mm gap running across the whole back and 1mm gaps on the side.
Next there's the battery packs that break, as I don't know how to solder, I haven't been able to check if the lighting works since about pack 35.
The fact that this expensive model is run on batteries rather than on mains is the biggest sin of all, this model is going to have to be disassembled to replace batteries and I can guarantee that a lot of the screw points will wear down due to this.
I love the Enterprise D as my favourite TV and Movie ship of all time, but this build has turned me off it.
The paint scheme is nice though, however I have had to adjust the paint in several areas myself.

A good collection but getting smaller
I’ve been a subscriber since 2012 on the original starships collection and started the universe when it went live. Generally a good collection but the models are generally getting smaller and price is going up. Some are the same size as original starships. Also rhe subscribers discount is less then the webshop and they get them sooner. I am considering cancelling

Build your own U.S.S. Enterprise-NCC-1701-D
I started my very first part work build the Enterprise-D back in February 2021 with Eaglemoss. I have never had any problems with them, they have been very good at fixing any problems I have came a cross like missing or broken part's and they have sent replacements within a week to 14 day's which is pretty good. I'm really enjoying this build and I am just over halfway completing the fantastic Enterprise-D can't wait to see it finished and put on display! I really hope that they will do the Enterprise-E or Voyager next on the same scale as this one!

Good Clear Instructions for assembly…
Good Clear Instructions for assembly and well cut parts. however, some bits of the deck were a bit warped and the wood used for the deck seemed to come in two depths which made sanding smooth a challenge

I am currently collecting the…ghostbusters
I am currently collecting the ghostbusters car, but am having nothing but issues with payments every month. Got to point today where they took payment to different date than had arranged and left me in the red, call them and spoke to them and was made out a sort of liar and given nothing but excuses and completely different versions to before, and no willingness to help at all, they even said I even put up with there dates or cancel... I will never use them again

I have been reasonably happy with Eaglemoss on Building The Ghostbusters Ecto-1. Had a few issues where Needed to chase them up for collection of payment or to acquire assistance as to where shipments are and how much is needed for payment, Other than that I feel there should be a Payment scheme where the customers can pay instalments to contribute to their next shipment, maybe this could be discussed with EM staff.

Ecto-1 been delivered regular as clockwork but no longer
Ecto-1 been delivered regular as clockwork. Now with 4 months left: nothing and no reasons why no delivery. It would have been five stars but I feel let down. I want to crack on and see progress to completion on this model ! Unhappy - was very happy.
Update - as if by magic the model parts have been shipped a day after I wrote this review so I have increased the rating. Many thanks.

My experience been okay until my last pack.
16. A few weeks ago I’ve phone Eaglemoos inquiring why I’ve got charged twice on the same month and what the person explained did make any sense.
My last pack should be 17 but I’ve got pack 18,I don’t know what is happen ,if I got charged twice I should have pack 17 and 18
Now I’m kind of stuck missing pack 17 I can’t go any further with the build,I now I’m worried about it.
Because of all complaining about this build on Facebook and YouTube and so on I hope that all will be sorted soon

Just started the delorean
Just started the delorean, but from what I've heard supply is non-existent Eaglemoss have a bad reputation these days as I wanted to build the aston martin db5 started subscription then they stopped doing it after a few issues . I'm building the eleanor from eaglemoss but that's through Die Cast models so I'll see if how the delorean goes before cancelling.

A collection/series that should be thrown in a black hole, and never seen again,
The ships are not as great as the first star ship collection, they take the money but only ship every now and then, the bonus “special” stuff is not worth more than a simple starship, especially as they are art work, we don’t want that, we want nice federation ships, the latest two romulan ships were not worth making let alone selling, and I’m going to stop my collection, you don’t even get incentives to keep me collecting, it’s gone downhill so much,
Also I’m getting Eaglemoss emails with ships seen in the shows that I don’t get to buy, the idea of the collection is we get exclusive starships in our collections, to find the better ones already sold to other people, when I have to wait six months or more,
I really don’t like this universe collection, I have been to sites online and this collection and out in USA they are many issues ahead as people are showing ships to come, this is not right, it should be every where at once, we shouldn’t keep collecting these, I think this is the end and also you don’t get the discounts that your supposed to have when you joined, so a big porky pie there,

Great Model - Poor Outdated Service
I signed up to the Ecto-1 build in January 2022. The build itself is absolutely fantastic. The detail in the build, and the quality of the materials are superb, and I cannot wait to have the finished build on display.
However, the overall service from Eaglemoss has been incredibly poor. First thing to point out is the service team here in the UK are doing the best with the info and hardware they have. I've had some great conversations with Zoe and Mike, who are always on hand to try and help. The issue is with how Eaglemoss' operations are over a decade old!
Since I started my build on a weekly dispatch subscription, I've not had a single box of parts dispatch on time. There's been major delays, and even boxes arriving prior to me even receiving a dispatch email; leading to me losing all trust in their system.
The heart of the problem is down to their Ops department and how they have such an expensive subscription treated in such a poor manner. They ship these fragile metal materials through an untracked 2nd class service that's controlled by a dreadful third party logistics management company called Whistle. I've not known anyone to use such a cheap logistics option in the last ten years. For a subscriber in 2022 to not know where an issue is or how long it'll take to arrive, with Eaglemoss' own poor customer service department unable to help, is honestly quite remarkable. A subscription that costs thousands of pounds to have the lowest logistics option is an insult to the customer. And it's the main thing subscribers complain about across social media, with Eaglemoss seemingly doing nothing about it.
Since January subscribers have been promised changes coming this year, but no word or sign at all.
It's incredibly disappointing when considering the fantastic quality of the build for Eaglemoss to show no care towards how they get their products to their subscribers.
I hate to be so negative. But, when an independent seller can ship items tracked overnight, and a company like Eaglemoss opt to use such an outdated logistics service is baffling.

Acrylic Cover too Expensive
I have been really impressed with the service and enjoyed building the Eleanor Mustang. However, I was really disappointed with the recent delivery of the display case. I think that £104 for a clear acrylic cover without a base is extremely expensive. I will reconsider opting in for future offers.
