I have spent years with terrible service with people that thought it an imposition to talk with me. I finally decided to look for a company which could deliver decent service with a decent staff. I found the answer to my prayers in EarthLink! The staff was warm and caring, set me up with service, and installed the date promised! I finally have the service I have wanted for years! Great service and wonderful people, what more could anyone want! Thank you Earthlink! You have a satisfied customer for life!!

The worst ever! They use Verizon Fios lines for their Internet. They charge double price and their customer service is the worst. I did the chat. It took me an hour and a half to ask one question. She would ask me a question to verify I would give her the answer and she disappeared for 10 minutes then she’d come back ask me another question and disappear again and it went on it like I said for a half hour. All right, then I called customer support to cancel. I was on the phone with them for an hour and I get an email because I’m switching saying that they can’t deliver my new modem because Earthlink never canceled. I called them up. Nope they didn’t cancel. They are incompetent. Don’t waste your time. Don’t waste your money. Use Verizon if you need fiber.

Decent cost, very good speeds, only reason not a 5 star Verizon was contracted by EarthLink to connect service for $50 he did nothing no help at all he was here 5 minutes and left I had to do all the work myself. I bought a spool of cat5 and tool to terminate connector and a signal tester and did it myself.

I think the best part of my experience was the Service Tech that did my install. I have never been able to get Wi-Fi in my back room. I purchased 2-3 Wi-Fi Extenders, they did not work,
AT&T suggested that the problem was trying to use "Foreign" extenders was the problem. Nope!!!
When the Tech arrived (&on time) he asked specifically what I was looking for service. I explained the problem. After he made all of the connections, he went to the back room with an instrument that measures the Wi-Fi signal there was none, He installed a device called a Dual Band USB Adaptor on my computer & Viola!!! 4 bars. All is good.

Avoid EarthLink at all costs. The internet service is fine, until it stops working. I've been without internet for six days. I've made two different appointments on two different days for a technician to come fix the problem--but the technician never showed up either time! EarthLink customer service is of no help. They can't explain why no one ever shows up for scheduled appointments, and although they offered me a credit, there is still no plan on how to restore service. This is a terrible company with little focus on customer service. Avoid this company at all costs!

I have had this service for only 2 weeks and I already got a bill saying my service will be disconnected if I don't pay 84.00 dollars if I would have known that my bill would be given soon as I received service I would have not have gotten this at all please explain as soon as a representative start taking money when service is being ordered ridiculous!!!

You told me a time of installation between eight and 12 your installer and no fault of his own got the order from 12 to 5. I specifically placed that order so that I could get my elderly mother to a doctors appointment that we had to cancel.

The installer was on time and proficient in knowing where to install everything. It took a little while because earthlink is hardwired. That's why I chose it! I have not lost internet once since it was installed over a week ago.

I missed a message about the tech coming in 15 but he called on arrival and with my go ahead began the external work and was almost done outside when I arrived. Inside he was fast and clearly skilled and courteous. He made sure it worked and then packed and cleaned up in about 3. A+ job
