It's so bad it feels like a scam

It's so bad it feels like a scam. You almost cannot usee any pictur to generate a video and when you luckily get a picture, it says error processing image.

We are truly sorry to hear about your experience.

The "error processing image" message you received is frustrating, and we apologize for the inconvenience. This type of error can sometimes occur due to temporary network instability—either on your local connection or when our system communicates with the AI models. In many cases, simply waiting a few moments and trying again, or switching to a different model option, can resolve the issue.

If the problem persists across multiple attempts and different images, we recommend connecting with our engineers through the online live chat service on our website. They can help investigate whether this is a specific compatibility issue or something else that needs to be addressed.

Thank you for your patience and for giving us the opportunity to make things right.

i just wanted a backflip

Asked GBT for the best AI video maker and it sent me to this website, at first it seemed good, everything was working and I took a while to create everything I needed for my first prompt to start working. when I clicked generate video, it said i needed an account... so i made an account and connected it to my google and then it says i need 30 credits to make a video, it didnt mention this before i made an account. the only way to get credits is to sign in everyday for 10 credits, so one video every 3 days, or spend $8 per month or $90 a year for ~14k credits, thats about 450 videos a year which isnt bad, if i wanted 450 videos, i just want a few to have fun with. so im mad that they lured me into creating an account for it for making me seem like i could just make it. jiggling keys infont of a child would be kinder than by showing us how easy it is to use their software but making us waste our time by filling everything out when it wont let me use it. my information is with this ai website that from what ive read from the other reviews isnt good anyways as the payment aint the best. i just wanted to see my friend do a backflip. audacity

Scam alert: subscription never activates

Purchased a Lite subscription, got a confirmation email, but the system refused to register that my account had a Lite subscription. It continued to say I was on the "Basic"/free tier. Messaging their "live chat" did nothing and no one ever responded. I submitted to cancel the subscription, and they claim it's cancelled, but of course they do not refund the current month's fees. I believe this is their business model, to collect a single months' fees from users and not provide any services. The free tier does not give enough credits to generate anything, so one must purchase another sub to use the site.

We are very concerned to read your review and take your report of unauthorized charges seriously.

However, we would like to clarify our subscription policy. On our website, at the point of purchase, there is a clear statement: "Auto-Renew. Cancel Anytime." This means that when you sign up for a monthly plan, it will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel it beforehand. You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting our support team, and we will never refuse a legitimate cancellation request.

It's possible that you may have signed up for a free trial or a paid subscription in the past and forgotten about it, leading to these automatic renewals. If you did not intend to continue the subscription, we sincerely apologize for the confusion and frustration caused.

If you would like to cancel any future auto-renewals on your order, please email us directly at support@easemate.ai and our team will assist you promptly.

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and giving us the opportunity to help.

Confusing!

Confusing!
Support is pathetic.
It never worked properly once!
Typical scam tactics.
Paid for a month, but the credits would never be enough to do the work.

We are truly sorry to hear about your experience.

Regarding your support experience - may I ask if you had reached out to our customer support team before leaving this review? If you did, we sincerely apologize that you didn't receive the help you needed. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we'd like to investigate what happened with your support interaction.

Regarding the credit system - I'd like to clarify how our credits work, as this might address some of your frustration. Different AI models and parameter settings (such as video resolution, length, or generation quality) consume different amounts of credits. When you're creating content, the interface clearly shows how many credits a specific combination will require before you confirm generation. This allows you to choose the option that best fits your needs and budget. We apologize if this wasn't made clear enough during your experience.

We appreciate you giving us the opportunity to address these failures.

While your review is brief, we would like the opportunity to understand what led to this feeling. If you are willing, please email us at support@easemate.ai with more details. Whether it was a quality issue, a billing problem, or something else, we are here to listen and help resolve it.

Could be a great tool. Sad.

Could be a great tool, but they take your credits and don't, at times, produce. I did sign up for a subscription, but account still shows free, Customer service is non existant. Finally got an email back after trying live chat 4 times.. nobody there... Told it was the weekend so would get back to me Monday, Lets see if they bother.
